Property Ratings at Westwood Apartments
The last few years I lived here they never cleaned the hallways or the basement once. Downstairs neighbors were often noisy. When I moved out they kept half the deposit for "cleaning" costs, even charged me for "ceiling stickers" which were left behind from the ceiling repair they did two years ago.

We are sorry about your experience after moving out, we try to do our best in keeping the hallways and laundry rooms clean at all time, but sometimes it gets a little hard with mud, salt in winter time or grass dragged into the property. We will continue improving to bring the best experience possible to our tenants. Thank you for your feed back.
I would like to say we had the privilege of dealing with Sarah ( property manager)but that would be nothing short of a lie. She comes in your apartment whenever she wants SHE doesn't give any notice like she said in a review below. She says one thing and then another. She will NeVER give you the owners information and says you can only deal with her. I would not recommend this place at all.
I have lived here for a few years and everyone is friendly and the apartments are clean and taken care of. If I ever need anything fixed the manager is on it. She lives onsite if ever a problem. It's a quiet place to live. I would recommend Westwood apartments.
My experience here was horrible... My toilet flooded my hallway, bathroom and walkin closet and sewage came up and all they did was change the padding and wash the carpets with water. There is a mildew smell in the closet that was never taken care of. I had black mold under my bathroom sink to where the wood was bubbling and they just sprayed some cleaner on if that lasts 3 months. My neighbor drilled holes in the ceiling and I believe he came in to my apartment and I asked to have the locks changed and she said it would cost me $100.

Here at Westwood Apartments we pride ourselves in making this a nice and clean place to live. If anything unfortunate like a plumbing issue happens we take all proper steps in fixing the issue from hiring plumbers, carpet cleaners or replacing carpet completely. I am happy to report that we did all that for this apartment and replaced the carpet and pad to make sure everything was ok and no more problems arose.
The management is so rude. And she doesn't respect peoples privacy. She just walks into people's homes. And doesn't fix anything that is wrong with the apt.

The manager by law always gives a 24 hour notice before entering any occupied apartment unless there has been a verbal conversation with a tenant and they give permission to go in. The only time there would need to be an entry without notice is if a major issue happens that could affect others and we need to check apartments surrounding to make sure those are not affected. We do that so others won't be affected by a possible issue.
