Property Ratings at Westview Garden Apartments
Westvue has new owners as of December 2022 and I've lived here for four years. New management has completely ignored maintenance requests. For example, in April we found animals living in the walls of the apartment (new problem this spring). We notified them immediately, but were told, "these things can be tricky" by the Senior Property Manager, followed by total inaction. In June, we informed them we can now hear babies, but have been told they have been unable to hire a pest control company. After contacting one such company myself, I was asked "why can't you call your maintenance man to do it?" Privacy is constantly being breached as new ownership renovate the buildings (at least weekly), but they have been unable to respond at all to our maintenance requests to remove the vermin. We were on board to stay in this location with the new ownership but have been dismayed with their handling of our simple and infrequent maintenance needs despite work crews entering our homes nearly every week. We should have moved when we had the chance and I no longer recommend living here.
The new management company that purchased this once affordable apartment complex and they wasted no time in kicking EVERYBODY out, so that they could raise the rent here by $1000!!! The new management company's website goes so far as to calling this a "success story"!! It's people like this who are greatly contributing to the homelessness crisis were facing right now.
While this place doesn't have many extra features like a pool or hot tub, the staff here are very nice and the rent has always been affordable. Living here is very comfortable and while there aren't that many units, if you can find one I am sure you will enjoy your stay.
