Like everything except a water leak. Was cleaned up fairly quickly, but frustrating to deal with. Also the air conditioning unit sometimes seems like its not working.
It’s been better. When I first moved in 3 years ago, the property was maintained very well, maintenance staff was very attentive and the front office staff was friendly. Now, the hallways, pool, etc. aren’t cleaned weekly. There’s always a lot of trash/furniture in the parking garage. There’s a sign in the parking garage, written on cardboard, with misspelled words. The security gates are either not working or always left up. The doors from the garage and hallway have been broken for months. It seems as though no one answers the phone in the leasing office unless the manager is there. I tried accessing the leasing office this past Saturday, the lights were on, but both doors were locked. Not to mention, it’s taken months to get some of my maintenance issues resolved. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I would give living here five stars if the application and move in process was better. Since that has nothing to do with actually living here, I can’t say too many things about living here. So far things are okay. Maintenance response times are great but often we need several follow ups to fully resolve issues. If they were all one and done that would be a five star experience.

I have lived at westmount at ashwood since 2016 which used to be walton ashwood before gray star owned the property. Before gray star, ashwood walton was running by different people and honestly was one of the best property and very good management team BUT as soon as became GRAY STAR property, everything changed to be very awful manners and the majority of people left in less then couple months expect me. Now the property is so dirty and trash is everywhere, nothing is working like out door grills, gates are broken, diali box most of time is out of service .on top of everything, MY UNIT IS OUT OF HOT WATER, i asked almost last month to change it but after couple weeks, they replaced the water heater with the smaller water heater and not i can take shower less than 7 minutes and must wait hrs to water get just warm enough to put my 5 year old son in the shower. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. DO NOT MAKE MISTAKE AT ALL. Stay away from this property for sure

Location is great. But the security is not what it used to be. The key fob doors from the main parking haven’t worked in months. The workout facility is not upgraded.

I have been a resident of this community for 6 years. My experience with the maintenance over the last few requests has been negative. Given that this is a Luxury living community in a prime location, one would expect nothing less than top class customer service. But much has been left to be desired on this front.

I have been a resident of Westmont Ashwood for 3 years and my experience has been very satisfactory. The property is conveniently located with regard to retail and medical facilities, public transportation, and local and interstate roads. It has a well equipped exercise room and a large pool with associated amenities. It also has very nicely furnished common areas. I would highly recommend this property to prospective tenants.

Very friendly staff that are concerned about our needs and get them taken care of. Our maintenance team is very efficient and knowledgeable and friendly as well. I really enjoy living here, am going into my 7th year! This apartment is so convenient to so many things thus we stay healthier from all the walking! And I like having the police presence living here and the fire department right behind us.

Our community suffered through Covid just like everywhere else. But the community has come back to life and we are reconnecting with each other! Westmount's management has been diligently working to get to know the community and the residents here -- our likes, our dislikes, and they are always willing to improve our experience here. We recently switch our fitness facility to be open 24-hours --yay for me as sometimes I have trouble sleeping. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. Overall it has been a positive experience. Jill and Kierra in the office are friendly and welcoming. Overall I enjoy being here!

The covered parking garage that provides direct access to interior therefore weather protected hallways, the well equipped exercise room, trash pick-up 5 days a week right outside your apartment door, proximity to a wide variety of retail, grocery, and convenience stores, easy ingress and egress to the property, excellent property maintenance and very responsive on-site management personnel, proximity to major city streets and an interstate highway. These are some of the things that make Westmont Ashwood a wonderful place to a wonderful place to live.

Westmount Ashwood has been my home for over a year now. The quality, value, and staff professionalism stood out during our tour. Quick maintenance response. Surrounded by new shops and eateries. Moved here at the end of July and I love it! My children love the elementary school (Austin Elementary). Our home is spacious and the residents are nice! I love the resident events and the staff is awesome!

Apt 1223 I really appreciate the covered parking with easy access to residential unit hallways, that are also covered. These features make it convenient to park your car and walk to your unit, often carrying groceries, without having to deal with bad weather. I also like the well equipped exercise room that I use regularly. The new Publix shopping center makes it easy to walk down and get minor items when needed, and the access to the property from Ashwood Parkway or from Meadowlane/Ridgewood Rds is very convenient, with Target and Walmart shopping centers nearby.

Overall things are satisfactory. My Bridge group loves to play cards in the Ashwood Room once a month and look out onto the pool. And they like having a Starbucks coffee machine. I like the secure mailroom and the fact that delivered packages are put at our apartment door. And I like the convenience of just putting our little black trash can right outside our door! And having a smiling, friendly face at the front desk. Great location to walk to lots of stores and being small and tucked away between other buildings.

Ashwood is a great community with the best location in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area. It is away from the main busy streets which makes it less noisy. Being a gated community it feels more secure and also safe for late evening walks. I recommend this place for anyone working around Dunwoody or Sandy Springs.

The fire alarms went off at night (when nobody was in the office) constantly. We lived here for 2 years while we waited to find a house nearby and thank god we finally did. No more smelly washing machine that they never fix, no more lack of storage and no more expensive rent. I moved here from Orange County, CA and I have to say that to pay the same rent here that I did there and not be by the beach is a joke to me.

I downsized from a 3 BR/2BA house to a 2 BR/2 BA apartment at Walton Ashwood. I have found the property management team to be knowledgable, helpful and available. The property is pro-actively managed and maintained. Issues are addressed in a timely manner. I am very happy in my apartment and wish I had made this move years ago!
