Westchester Woods Apartments

I have lived here the past 2 years and have had no major issues. Justin and Andy are very nice. I have had every maintenance issue resolved in 1-2 days. I can tell they care a lot about keeping their apartments nice and helping people out. I have loved living here and feel like it is a steal for the price, low utilities, and helpful management.

My boyfriend and I have lived at Westchester Woods for 3 years, and I have a lot of great things to say about this place. I am very fortunate that we ended up here. This is a wonderful apartment complex that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great steal!

I’ve had no issues whatsoever with management or with the apartment in general which has been a blessing. The tenants are a whole other story, though. Lots of college kids that tend to be very noisy (this is especially evident because of the apartments older construction, very thin walls, floors and ceilings.) Noise from the traffic on West Michigan is very loud due to the thin glass of you happen to be on the side of the building that faces the main road. All in all a good price for a decent place, I just wish that management was possibly a bit more selective with its hopeful tenants or a bit more active in enforcing a more quiet complex. If you don’t have trouble sleeping I would highly recommend!

The price is economical. It's worth the money. The management is good. The tenants are also friendly. Tenants are basically university students and families.

Considering the area, it's both pretty safe and affordable, and the landlord actually does fix things. Very close to WMU and a short drive to downtown Kzoo, and just down the street from the shops on West Main. Other pros: cats only, leasing office has excellent communication with residents, lots of washers and dryers in building. Cons: did have some break-ins and sketchy neighbors, had to walk up a lot of broken concrete steps to get into apartment.

Apartment manager is great. When my son visit the 1 bedroom apartment and send in application. The manager let my son know they have received the parent's cosign form. credit check is ok. just waiting for current landlord's reference.

My spouse and I have lived in these apartments for three years and absolutely love it! Location is great as it is nearby WMU's campus with easy access to US-131. The staff are extremely nice and friendly and know residents by name. The owner doubles as the maintenance person and is extremely efficient and professional. We have had very few maintenance issues, but when something does arise, maintenance acts quickly and comes the day the request is given. We live in a spacious two bedroom apartment and are amazed that we can get away with the extremely affordable rent payment. Our rent amount has not gone up since we've lived here and every time we renew our lease, we are given a sign-on bonus. Probably one of the best values of living at Westchester Woods is the fact that all amenities (aside from electric and internet/cable) are included in the monthly rent amount. This is becoming very rare! All our friends/family are shocked when we tell them our heat is included with the price of our rent! Overall, we have been extremely satisfied and happy with our choice to call Westchester Woods home. It will be a sad day when the time comes for us to move out!
