Property Ratings at West Oaks
When we first moved in, everything was great. Rent was manageable, parking was somewhat easy to find, and neighbors were okay. Now, our rent has gone up $100 more with the new management and when checking to see what we’re paying for, there’s so many fees lined up. The neighbors below us smoke weed (even though the property is a “clean air community” now) & I can smell it very strongly in my bathroom. There’s been a motorcycle parked in one spot for over a month now, never seen it moved before. Our dryer doesn’t work, even after putting multiple service requests. We’re considering breaking our lease early just so we can escape this place.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, but the apartments themselves are garbage. I did not receive a paper to fill out for any damages upon moving in, and stupidly did not ask for one, but the dishwasher has been broken since day one, the paneling of the cabinets is falling off, and the light fixture in the "office" space fell because it broke through the holdings, nothing was attached and I had never touched it. I have never in my 7 years on living in apartments had roaches, but I have found roach eggs and have killed a few so I know there is an infestation, and my water heater sprung a leak, leaking into the apartment below, the emergency maintenance came quickly and were very professional, but said they couldn't understand why such expensive apartments would use such cheap products, and the reason it sprung a leak was that it was faulty. I have only been here a few months, but I will not be renewing my lease.

Do not live here at all if you expect to have any peace and quiet. I have been filing noise complaints with this apartment complex for over 8 months and still nothing has been resolved with a barking dog above me. It will bark late into the night when the owner isn't home until 3 or 4am. The apartment complex says that they will do something about it, but 8 months later and nothing has come of it. Save your money and your sanity because the management team is horrible and doesn't follow through if you need help with something.

The office staff are all very friendly and accommodating and I am so far very pleased with my experience here.
This place is nightmare to move in, EXTREMELY disappointing customer services, they do not care about their customers and start to throw they’re face attitude. Im living in this complex 2 years and had been STOLEN in my apartment and they be like they didn’t care about the problem of their property and it happened many time in this property apartment complex, the front gate is usually open. Absolutely NO more renew contract with this Apartment Complex. Please stay away from it if you want to be safe, they look for your money not like your are the customer.
Firstly, parking is miserable. If you plan on getting home after 9:30 pm you'll have to park outside the leasing office. Once, my roommate had to park in front of a trash dumpster because there was not ONE open spot on the property. Secondly, the management company is a mess. The management in the leasing office is great (only because they understand the people they work for are not so great). Example: I was told to take down my outdoor, white patio lights or I would get a fine. The on-site management said to take them down for a day while they inspect then put them back up. Overall, the unit is nice and there's a great dog park. If crowded parking and management instability is your thing, you'll love it here.
Great facilities. The apartments are snug but well laid out to make most efficient use of the space. Pool is small but nice, dog park is a great addition, and the barbecue pits. Complaints would be some of the staff can seem a little scattered and disorganized, which made the initial application and eventual move-in frustrating.
Great place, great location. But management could use a little more help
It is a good place and the apartments are nice inside, management could be better but overall it has been a good place.
