Seymour/Naugatuck/Ansonia is a large area encompassing a collection of neighborhoods east of the Naugatuck River. The northern section of the area is comprised mostly of forests hiding a few residential areas, but the eastern and southern portions of the community are less secluded. Highway 8 runs through the eastern section of town connecting residents to other parts of New England including New Haven, located 10 miles southeast. The highway also features commercial developments as several shopping centers are located along or just off the road. Renters will find that rental options are centered along this road as well. Property Ratings at West Hill Apartments
Most apartment have high electric bills, No matter what you do to conserve energy , molds in upstairs bathroom. They got 3 maintenance guys serving Horizon homes too so don’t expect they will come out quick when placing a work order, No assignment to the Parking lot, visitors will take the spot in front of your unit and won’t leave Management only cares about collect the rent and will till you that units are below market rates,lol.

Thank you for your comments. We do care about our residents' experience and strike to create a comfortable and safe living space for all our tenants. I am sorry to hear that your electric bills were high. I suggest you contact Eversource to discuss ways that you can reduce your bills. Are you aware that you can choose a less expensive supplier through the Eversource website? Regarding maintenance, we actually have a highly skilled team of five Maintenance Technicians to serve the properties, as well as 24/7 emergency maintenance. 95% of our non-emergency maintenance requests are investigated within 24 hours and are resolved within 3 business days. If you have mold in a bathroom, you should put in a Maintenance Request right away, as that is something we would want to treat and remediate quickly. We do not have assigned parking in the lot anymore, as we found that assigned parking caused our residents more problems than it solved. If you see a non-registered car parked in a space, you should notify the Main Office through a Maintenance Request or by email to info@ghmco.com. License plate number or photo would be helpful to solving the problem.
Overall not a bad place to live. Its clean, decent amount of room for the price. The living/dining area is a bit unfunctional The worst thing I can say is that parking is horrible. If you come home after 8pm good luck. All apartments have there own entrance and washer/dryer hook ups, a big plus. All in all a good value for the money.
