Wellington Place

Only giving one star because I can’t give zero. These people don’t know what good customer service is. I should have known from the day I moved in how disgusting of a place this is. They don’t take responsibility for their actions. The place itself is not “luxury” & the people that work in the office are the most ignorant & dumbfounded people I’ve ever met. Not to mention they claim a "white glove" cleaning before moving in but it was clear there were plenty of areas that were not touched. One of the cabinets had syrup all over the shelving, the cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen were layered with grime and dirt, the window screens were out, the walls and doors have all kinds of visible dirt, the kitchen ceiling had brown spots on it, and the front door and back door do not close correctly.

These are not luxury townhomes. Management has no consideration for their tenants and trying to get something fixed is next to impossible. It takes months to get basic but necessary repairs completed. Quick cover ups in the unit upon move in, but those slowly fall apart after move in. Neighbors had roaches that property would not take care of rather made them foot the bill to exterminate. For this price better to look down the street.

I called front office a day ago due to a couple of issues in my apartment as I was discussing the issues with the manager and all of a sudden I heard music I am thinking maybe something happened with the phone or something so, I hung up called back and was told by manager he is talking to someone and he will call me back no apology nothing "WOW"I felt what he did was intentional.

I have serious regrets moving into this place. Most of the staff has been nothing but rude and condescending. They moved me into a dirty apartment with no working appliances. Claimed they would get things in order and dragged their feet getting my place move in ready from the start and still to this day 3 months later isn’t done. Don’t get me started on the rodent problem that still continues. I highly suggest finding somewhere else to live

Management is top-notch and the location is awesome. I've lived here for a few years and things did falter a little during pandemic, but it's great now. Jacob in maintenance provides thorough and courteous service. No bugs or other pests.

Had a rough beginning when we first moved in. It has gotten so much better since Amy took over. The fenced in yards and location are perfect!

My family and I moved into a townhome on May 28th of this year. So far we have paid them almost $6000 for deposit and two month's rent. When we moved into the unit the washing machine, dishwasher, and back door were all not working. Along with many other things. The place was gross to say the least. Toilets not clean, walls messed up, broken toilet seats, leaking windows, non matching blinds and some not working, horrible painting job, etc. It has tons of bugs and ants and we have had two rats. They are being reported to the health department as the living conditions are NOT livable. They do NOT actually fix things. Horrible place.

Don’t move here unless you want to pay top dollar for an apartment that doesn’t have basic amenities. We’ve been waiting over a month for our dishwasher, dryer, stove top, and refrigerator to be fixed. The day we moved in none of these things were working, even though the woman in the office said she did a walk through and everything looked good, these things should’ve been fixed before we even moved in. I called and asked for a status two weeks later and the woman who answered said she didn’t see a work order for two things. When I toured I was told “maintenance will come that day!” Sure, they’ll check it out but they either won’t do anything or say it’s fixed when it’s not. I am counting down the days until I move out. Live somewhere else, it’s in your best interest.

Don't expect to get your deposit back. We didn't have a dog, we didn't smoke, we kept the apartment in great condition. We spent our own money to replace blinds etc. They still found an excuse to keep our deposit money

None of deposit is refundable, cheap fixes (if they fix anything at all), rude and noisy neighbors that leave their trash outside. Everything is poor quality with mold and mildew all over it.

I moved in about two weeks ago and was shown a completely different apartment that I live in. I was told I would be living in a certain apartment and suddenly had to switch to a different one. The place is a dump. Black bathtubs, nails in the stairs, fence broken in the backyard, mold, broken blinds, and bugs bugs BUGS!!! I have reached out to the office about fixing everything and only one blind has been replaced. I talked to Courtney in the office about the bugs and she said “it’s just the reality of living in a first floor apartment during the summer”. The manager is even more of a joke. Once you complain about something they become nasty. STAY AWAY!!!!

I had the best experience visiting the property. Melissa was my amazing tour guide and she was nothing short of professional, personable and just an overall pleasant experience. I would recommend anyone looking for your next home to visit. Thank you so much Melissa!! ??

They say these are oversized, but it’s more like overpriced. The new renovations we have in our apartment were done immediately before we moved in. Yet, they were done so poorly that the linoleum is bubbling and peeling up everywhere. You can hear your neighbors going up and down their stairs. Our heat and AC is very spotty. With how the addresses are set up, no delivery person will ever be able to find you. The gates for the “gated community” are so inconsistent you never know if they’ll be open or closed when they’re supposed to. There are much better quality apartments in the same price range, don’t get sold on the yards. Our fencing is so warped we can’t even let our dogs out without being leashed.

The office staff, especially Kailey, made the relocation process so easy. She worked with me over the phone while I was traveling for work. I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Now I am moved in and loving my new home!

These properties are so nice! They are right by the exit for 71 and in a perfect location to go anywhere. The staff is really nice and the townhouses are beautiful!

Beautiful homes! I love that both bedrooms have a full bath! It’s a nice neighborhood and management and maintenance are great!

During the leasing process, I felt like the staffs in the leasing office cared about my family's need and concerns and tried to help out. The gate outside the townhome makes me feel safe living here.

Having lived at this location for nearly 7 years I have more experience with dealing with the staff here than most. I can say they are friendly and have handled everything professionally and quickly. This location is located right off 71 and trips to downtown can be completed in 20 mins or less depending on traffic. You are close to shopping and entertainment. If you want a great roommate set up it is hard to beat this place,

I have lived at Wellington for about 4 years now and I love this place. The rooms are spacious and the backyard is nice for barbecues or for children to play in the yard. The school system is pretty awesome which is Sycamore school district. The staff is so professional and courteous. The location is convenient to I71 and your shopping needs. Wellington has a lovely work-out area and a pool. I have lived in some luxury apartments but Wellington have the others beat by far.

Want to live in a community that is beautiful you should give Wellington a try. The rooms here are spacious and the community is family and kid friendly. I am currently a resident here and glad that I chose to move here a couple of years ago. The school district is excellent my children love it. The backyard is huge for children playing or family gathering for birthdays. I too think you will have a pleasant experience here at Wellington.

Nice friendly staff, close to shopping and restaurants. Fenced in backyards for dogs and small children. It’s a quiet safe place to live. Nice pool and workout room and they recently put in a dog park. I would recomend living here.

Moved in recently and so far it has been great! My dogs LOVE the fenced yard! We had a broken gate and that was fixed in a timely manner. Very quiet neighborhood but close to food and shops. So far it’s a great place to live

I have lived here for 12 yrs it’s a great place to live close to everything. Spacious fenced in private backyards. Big bedrooms with walk in closets and on suite bathrooms. Perfect for roommates or for keeping your kids out of your private bathroom. Pet friendly with a newly built doggie park. Extremely nice staff. I would definitely recommend living here.

I toured this place a few years ago and decided to go with a different location due to my income. My husband got a raise and our lease was coming up so I decided to take another tour. It was just as great as I remember! We just moved in and couldn't be happier! Our place is perfect and the office staff are fun and respond so quickly. I truly feel like they value me as a resident!

The townhome itself is great, the back yard with fence gives the living some privacy and is good for kids. No noises from upstairs and down stairs neighbors The staffs (Meredith and Amber) in the leasing office are friendly and helpful. Allan, maintenance guy, is also friendly, and gets the maintenance job done as quick as he can. The school district here (Sycamore) is good.

I have been living here for about an year and didn't face any issue. The townhome are spacious and have a backyard. The location is great can find everything nearby.

So far it's been a fantastic experience! Staff - including office and maintenance - are incredibly responsive and provide excellent customer service. I plan on staying for at least another couple of years!

This place has been an answer to my prayers. Moving back to the area after being away 3 years I was worried about finding a pet friendly neighborhood with a fenced yard and this place is perfect. So far the community itself has been super friendly and property managers are fantastic! The yard is a perfect size for my 2 dogs (I have the medium size). The only complaint I have is noise from the interstate as my unit backs onto the highway. Overall I would highly recommend Wellington Place.

Wonderful place and courteous staff. Maintenance people are very helpful and if you can afford to live a true luxury this should be your place. Town-homes are spacious and equipped with great amenities. So far I am loving this place.

My wife and I moved in last December. We enjoyed meeting the Wellington Place and renting our apartment was very easy to do. The maintenance men are efficient and friendly. The whole complex is quiet and well maintained. We hope to live her for many years. The best apartment leasing office we have ever worked with.

Wellington Place is a great community! Spacious places with back yards, super convenient to 71, many work places, restaurants, and stores. Amber and Meredith are fantastic! Super helpful and incredibly friendly.

Great location, comfy space and friendly staff make this area how great it is. Meredith is especially helpful and all of the office staff will do their best to get you the answers you need, no matter what it is, as soon as they possibly can. Moved in about a month ago and I highly recommend! No troubles to date.
