Overall the experience at Verdosa is excellent. The staff from management to concierge to maintenance and housekeeping are all outstanding! After living here over 3 years a complete renovation of the common areas is almost complete. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is for the following. The lobby renovation and common areas are beautiful. The amenities level looks great except for the outside tiles that are chipped and pealing. This cheapens the overall aesthetic. And a state of the art full floor fitness center is almost a year delayed opening due to permit issues. Hopefully this will change soon and I can give a 5 star review again!

Verdosa (watermarke) has the largest floor plan and great view of the DTLA. Staffs are all professional and kind. Security is very important and if you are looking for secured and safe apt. this is the spot you want to be in.

The location is unbeatable! —trendy restaurants, shopping, and cultural hotspots are just steps away. If you love exploring DTLA, Verdosa puts you in the center of it all. The amenities are top-notch and feel like a luxury resort. The luxurious pool is a personal favorite—a perfect spot to relax with stunning views of the city skyline. Everything is good. I love the building. My only complaint is people keep parking in my parking spaces probably because those spaces were vacant for a while.

Our apartment is beautiful, amenities are great and I love the community events held at our tower. I just wish our apartment was ready for move in on our move in day instead of calling maintenance constantly through the first month. Otherwise everything has been great, maintenance always completed our requests in a timely and efficient manner. I love our balcony and the amaizing view from the 30th floor. Blessed.

Everything has been so simple getting things done with the move in, also having access to an elevator specifically for our move in was amazing and so helpful. All of the staff is extremely helpful and always smiling. I wanted to mention the maintenance staff is amazing. Carlos retrieved my keys after I dropped them down the elevator shaft. I had them back within the hour.

Upon entering my eighth year at Watermarke Tower, I am very please with the progress so far. It has taken a good long time to get things back to "normal". However, I feel our current management staff has really attended to the needs of the community. I was very happy to hear that our windows will be washed next week. It will be refreshing to see out the windows as we begin the Spring season. MY hope is that the lower level and the lobby will be completed in the next couple of months. Keep up the good work!

The Watermarke continues to be a great place for DTLA living. We are enjoying the hallway and 7th floor renovations and look forward to the expanded fitness level currently being renovated. And a new first floor too. All the staff are warm and personable: from management to concierge staff to maintenance and housekeeping. Everyone has a positive attitude. Great place to live with numerous amenities. I enjoy the pool and the gym. It is quiet and I have made a few associates who live in the building. The front desk staff is great.

Management has been great. Only problem is with the apartment. Was unable to view my apartment before signing the lease. On move in day, saw that the floors were scratched EVERYWHERE, just amazing that they gave the apartment to someone with the floors in this condition. Did not expect this from a "luxury" building. I would advise against signing a lease here before you view the apartment.

There are things that are not kept in order at all. There are trash lying in the car park. The trash room and chute stinks really bad. Amenities are still not open yet especially the amenity space and hot tub. The hallways are not cleaned regularly. Elevators are kept dirty. Water issues. I know it can get better. Management needs to try little harder. Also new residents coming in are not vetted out properly as they are not being courtesies to their neighbors. Their pets are always barking and sometimes loud noises are coming out of their apartments. We stopped counting. It was not like this before. Living here for almost last 2 and half years.

Very kind and humble staff! We loved their willingess to help and make us feel welcome. Maintenance could be a little more helpful (light fixtures, vent cleaning, etc) and also when we make a request for service, it doesn't always seem to be an actual option. But overall very communicative about everything! Our leasing agent was DJ, and we felt so welcome! DJ made our move-in process so smooth, especially moving in from out of state. He was also very flexible with us when it came to leasing the actual unit.

So far everything has been great. The staff the other residents have all Ben very nice! The units are spacious with great layout and so many outlets to plug in anything anywhere! Love that!

We love our apartment but lately lot of noisy residents are getting in. Also, lot of amenities and common area are left dirty. Pet owners should be cleaning after their pets making a mess.

Building has the largest square ft in the DTLA market in my opinion. Given Ive lived in DTLA for 15 years and an LA native, I think I have some experience. Finishes are nice and the renovation looks great. Management Kyle and staff are super friendly. If I had to point out a flaw is that the washer dryer have no ventilation so it takes a while. But still a great building, probably in the top 5 from a mid price point. In my opinion.

This has to be the worst management I have ever dealt with. I have not had a working washing machine for over a month and they have failed to respond to numerous emails. They said they would allow me to use another unit for laundry AFTER 6pm but fail to respond to request to be let into another unit. When they do respond I am forced to carry weeks of laundry up/down the stairs because they won't give me a key fob to access the floor from the elevator. There are multiple tenants dealing with broken washing machines. The trash chutes have been down for over a month. Everything is run down and broken. We were lied to about the amenities available. There has been hammering above my unit since December(9 months). I was let into the unit above mine to do laundry and it is completely unapparent what they have been hammering on as the unit has no upgrades or changes. There are numerous vacant apartments and the management will use tactics to make you think you will miss your chance at getting a unit when that is simply not true. Please save yourself the headache and money and do not rent at this place.

The management is the reason why people don’t want to live here anymore. They are terrible and unaccommodating on everything. No one has the same answer, they ask for your money but take months to return it when asked in error. The building is beautiful, but management is awful.

My unit is spacious with a large patio and the views are incredible! The walls are solid - so I don't hear my neighbors. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is secure and monitored 24/7, which I appreciate! So far I am extremely pleased with living at the Watermarke Tower.

Hi, your review about Watermarke Tower Apartments made our day! Thanks so much for taking the time to write.
Let me start of by saying I moved out because of management on June 4th 2021 and it is now August 4th have yet to receive my correct deposit amount back. I have a break down directly from the manager in my email of what I'm supposed to get back and somehow they got that completely wrong and out of $1,000 sent me a check for $60.68. I wasn't going to write a review but I just can't believe that I can't rid my hands if this awful place. 1- Management can't give you a straight answer about anything. While living in the unit, they wanted to charge me $5,000 to replace wood in the walk way area that I later found out was just faulty by a secondary contractor. They dragged it on for 4 months saying that they would take care of it just for them to drop the charge. 2- They are being sued by many people. So if you do move in be aware that they will come after you for any little thing because they are trying to recoup the money they are being sued for. 3- all the good reviews in the past 5 months are because they give you a discount on your application fee to write a good review so be careful what you believe. 4- Overall the nicest person in the building is Ella and that's it. Everyone else is so fake, so rude and can't be bothered with anything. Oh and don't forget the part where they made everyone sign addendums to their leases in order to get new keys to the building. Sounds pretty shady to me. Don't bother replying with your ridiculous " I'm sorry you're unsatisfied please contact us by email" Because if you really cared you would respond to my emails and I would have gotten my deposit back by now.

Friendly residents and staff. Walls and floors are thick enough to block most noise from surrounding tenants, and staff is responsive to noise complaints. It feels very safe, regardless of previous events Ive read about through reviews. This is a large city, so bad things can happen, but when Im in my room I feel like its an escape (with an amazing view!). Even so, its a safer area in downtown than many others, and there is so much to do within walking distance. I highly recommend living here at least once in your life. :)
