Known as Wisconsin’s Maritime Capital, Manitowoc is located on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Manitowoc River. Manitowoc celebrates its shipbuilding history with the largest maritime museum on the Great Lakes, the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, which highlights the city’s submarine construction efforts for World War II. Manitowoc is also the home port of the largest car ferry of the Great Lakes, transporting cars and passengers to and from Ludington, Michigan.

Property Ratings at Washington Park Apartments
I like that it's near downtown. Very walkable. Could use more trees and screening, though. Abby is very helpful. Having a balcony is a plus.
Although lovely spacious and layout friendly, the location and resident independence extremely difficult and restricted for privacy.
I have lived at Washington Park apartments for 14 months and it has been a wonderful experience. I moved to Manitowoc for work with very little time to find a place. I had two dogs at the time and needed a dog friendly apartment. The property manager, John, was very accommodating with my quick move in and allowing both dogs. John was very friendly and easy to reach with every scenario that came along. I am only leaving now because I am being relocated for work. My only complaint here has been that some of the neighbors are very nosey, but I learned very quickly which ones to avoid!
