We lived at Wall St. for 7 year and have recently moved to another complex. The view are amazing. That being said, the apartments are definitely not luxury apartments. Preventive maintenance has not been routinely done resulting in leaks, cracks in floors, and the garage in very poor condition. The cleanliness of the building has significantly decreased over the years causing us embarrassment when guests travel in the common areas. Security in the garage is also an issue. The rent continues to rise with no evidence of monies being put back into the building. Look around there are many truly luxury apartments in the area.
This apartment has the best price for being right downtown when compared to the other apartments in the area. They also have a refundable pet deposit instead of a monthly pet fee, making it the most pet friendly in the area. If you are in a unit w/o a washer and dryer, the on site laundry is cleaner and more affordable than other places I have been. The gym is a little old but still has options to choose from such as a couple treadmills, stairmaster, eliptical, free weights and exercise machines. I have been there in the morning and in the afternoon and it is usually empty. The trash chute is a great convenience, and the building security is top notch. Keyed elevators, gated garage and security doors on every floor. You will not find a better deal to live right downtown. I have heard other residents that live on the west side of the building complain about hearing the train that comes through town, I live on the opposite side and have never heard it. My only problems are the relatively cheap carpet that is in my apartment, you would think that for 1400 a month I could at least get wood laminate, or a nice carpet, and the fact that I can't get Direct TV on my side of the building, and so I had to get Comcast which is a nightmare.
If you love quiet times in the woods .. this is not for you. If you love the city and all it has to offer, this is the best! Walk to everything: Palace Theater, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs .. all along or off of Elm St. We've lived here 18 months and absolutely love it!
The Wall Street Tower is located in downtown Manchester. There are no shops or supermarkets within an easy walking distance. It is located in an extremely noisy area. Right across Canal Street are the train tracks. The trains that utilize these tracks are freight trains. They right up against the apartments located on the westside of the building. That is 50% of the aprtments. The trains blow their horns loudly and for an extended period of time as it rumbles for a long period time past the Wall Street. The trains operate at all times of the day, everyday. The worst one comes through at between 3:30AM and 5:00AM nearly every single morning - even weekends.
We have lived at Wall Street Towers for seven months and we love it!!! The location is incredible! You can walk to all the restauraunts,bars,stores,venues,or just walk along the beautiful river and enjoy all the quiet. The views from your apartment are breath taking! Sunsets are beautiful! I have gotten incredible pictures! The staff is so friendly at the building and will help you any way they can:) The gym,salon,pool table room,and the outside sun deck are great ammenties and we use them often!! If you are looking for the perfect home in the city you have found it at Wall Street Towers!!
