Wake Robin Apartments

After passing an overflowing dumpster with litter on the ground, I was shown a unit that had visible damage, grime, trash, and a pile of mail inside. Apparently it was considered move-in ready.

The living space is as it’s advertised online. Jenessa was very helpful and nice 10/10 experience.

I lived here a bit ago. However, the advertising of the complex is WAY different once you get settled and realize the mistake. I had issues with my heat to the point my apartment was sitting in the low 50’s. I attempted to reach out to the emergency maintenance line and was told to just ignore it and go back to bed as it’s not that big of a deal. Also, got cussed out by the maintenance team here with invalidation of my issues. I had roaches the first week I lived here and had to get it treated multiple times for nothing to happen. I also had my apartment broken into as well and they would not even work with me to help me find somewhere safe. On top of the break in my window sat busted and nobody would help me fix that. (Mind you at the time it was deep winter and was 25 degrees outside). This apartment complex needs to work on itself and generate a safer community for their people. Wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone. Glad I was able to leave and pay my lease termination fee since the office wouldn’t even help me be safe in my own home.

I have only been around about a month. I enjoy the wide open space that I have and the breeze I can get from my side sliding door. The complex seems clean, the online communication is something that should be normal every where now a days. If you need something looked into at your place, workers are always around the property. Now it has only been a month so time will tell for the rest.

Where do I even start! Well, my experience at Wake Robin was not what I was hoping. When I got inside the unit I almost passed out. EVERYTHING was dirty, nasty and the unit had a disgusting weird odor. Not to mentions the thousands of flies in the basement which made it worse. The kitchen cabinets didn’t even close properly and they were filled with roaches. I was so disgusted. The glass door would not open which made it an inconvenience during my whole lease. I put in 3 maintenance requests to have that door fixed and all they told me was to not use it. People left their trash outside my unit because they were too lazy to take it to the dumpster. I emailed management about it and even attached pictures and NEVER received a response. I didn’t even let my friends or family come over because if how nasty the unit was. Thank god I am out of there. I wish we would have scheduled a tour first before leasing it. If you plan on moving here PLEASE schedule a tour first.

It’s a great place to live and also management and maintenance respond to you quickly when you call for something.

I am enjoying my new apartment. I Love the large living and bed room and excellent management and maintenance response time ?? is great.

Lived there for 4 years and it was a nightmare everyday. Landlord could constantly change, trash was always stacked along the walk way to the dumpster so when you went outside it’d smell like hot trash, there were ALWAYS communication issues with the landlord (never answered the phone or returned calls) and just an awful environment. Save your self the the heartache and avoid this place at all costs!

Ok, I will be honest. I’ve read many of the reviews. I’ve lived here for 12 years. I’ve noticed a lot of changes in management. I had a maintenance issue that was fixed within 2 days. I do believe management cares about our concerns & is trying to right previous wrongs. I also think though, that some reviews are from tenants who didn’t take pride & take care of the place in which they lived. Yes, as I said, there have been some issues, but in all fairness, with new management, I believe they want to restore Wake Robin Apartments to the place it was when I first moved here. I believe we have to work together in order for this place to be a community worth talking about. I think there should be a mutual respect & understanding between management & tenant. I believe management is trying to convey this. Give Wake Robin Apartments a try.

I move here about a month ago. I was promised by the rental office that everything will be renewed but when I got my key and went in to see, it was like they just did the painting and called it renovations. When I returned to the office and told them all the things that needed repair. They kind of fell offensive as to what I was referring to because they they never did a walk through before handed me the key. I even was locked out for a night because the key was not working properly. The management staff told me that as a new tenant everything that was not to my satisfaction will be fixed in three days. But that never happened either. I finally submitted the repair online and the next days maintenance was at my door. Mr Burke was very honest with me and did what it could. Since then I stay away from the office because honesty is very important. It doesn't matter what its is , just be honest from the start and let people decide for themselves. And because of maintenance group I give them 2 ?? and a half.

There's no real reason for you to move to this place, the rent is high compared to the condition of the units, add to that the high utility fees they charge, a shared meter to charge you as much as they wish, unreasonable! A small issue could take you weeks, sometimes months to get it fixed. Stay away, just an advise!

Please don't move here,it will be your worst nightmare! I pay to live in a secured building. I came home from work and the door nob had been changed to one without a lock. How can you do that without telling the tenets. That same night my neighbor found a man sleep in the hallway. My A/C has been out for 21 days now. The list goes on and on! If you work hard for your money Wake Robin is not for you! Get ready to be stressed out if you move here!

Its been so terrible here. I have many stories from the rent fluctuates depending on how much they want to assess for bug fees, trash and gas. You so not get the opportunity to pay your own gas. The trash is always overfilled and pouring over the sides-major health violation and an eyesore and just gross. They enter your home without giving the required 24 hr notice-usually more like a 12 hr notice. They constantly threaten fees for items, yet my neighbors don't allow me peace due to their bass and the other neighbors drum set. This is a townhome, shared walls. This community does not care about you. Every appliance has broke. Very old. They towed my car from right in front of my home. It is worth paying a bit more to be at peace somewhere else. I did contact Monarch Investments the owners to see if i could get some resolution. One of the Managers responded and suggested we get together and talk. I thought that was redeeming. But then she refused to get together when i was off work after 5pm. She said She gets off at 5 too?? If you are attempting to resolve an issue with a customer or hear them out would you not attempt to accomodate their work schedule?? I will move somewhere else very soon when my lease is up and gratefully spend more money.

they don't fix anything in a timely manner I have waited over 5 months to have work done in my apartment and the staff keeps getting turned over first they fired Ms. D, and transferred Ms. Rosie to whispering pines (found out when I went over there to apply for an apartment till I found out that monarch investment own both property's)but they kept Ashly who was very rude and nasty to everybody, they promoted Mearaya to leasing agent but then fired her also less then a year later ( she and Ms. Rosie were two of the best people in the office since I have lived here).Carmen took over as property manager but quite almost a year later and they fired Ashley since then they people in the office are very rude and nasty and only there for a few day before they switch out making it almost impossible for the residences to get anything done when you talk to one person and nothing happens and there is some one different all they say every time you go in to complain is that they have no idea what you are talking about. now they close the office when ever they feel like it and there is nothing we can do about it because if we ask for the phone number to monarch investments the place that owns the property they say either they don't have it or they are not allowed to give that number out it has gotten so bad out here when I went to renew my lease (I have had health problems and am not able to move right now) the lady told me that my rent would be going up another $50 but when I explained to her that I had already talked to the previous property manager and she had told me that it would only be going up $25 the leasing agent told me "too bad they are no longer here so I make the rules on what you are going to pay"
