Surrounded by mountains, large parks, and nature reserves, Gilman offers residents a mix of a rural mountain town with nearby city conveniences. Combined with Lake Sammamish a few miles north, outdoor hobbies like hiking, kayaking, and camping are extremely popular in Gilman. Excellent schools, preschools, and neighborhood parks create a family-friendly feel in Gilman. Gilman borders Olde Town, Issaquah’s charming downtown district. Although residents adore being close to the heart of the city’s abundant amenities, Gilman has several eclectic eateries, coffee houses, and shops. Several shopping plazas also neighbor Gilman. Interstate 90 cuts through the neighborhood acting as the main artery between Gilman and the greater Seattle area. Although many residents commute into Seattle and Bellevue for work, Gilman is also convenient to offices for several major companies including Costco and Microsoft.

Property Ratings at Vista Ridge
YES
Service is good but price is a little high especially when you renew on April - you see the price is much lower in previous months but it increases on your new lease. And the two months rental leasing brokerage looks like penalty as new tenant appear soon so the real loss is very less for apartment but apartment will not give us back anything.
Althea & Ryan are so great! You rarely have to wait for a maintenance issue to get attention. There is ample parking. The lay out of the apartments is ideal
Since I just moved in, it was a little strange to have a major appliance malfunction so soon, but everything about the maintenance process was great.
Noise level in the units is very high and for many people moving into an apartment for the first time would find it not workable. Even phone conversations, etc can be clearly heard particularly if you are in the middle floor apartment....from above and below.
The appliances are of poor quality, the unit is not very soundproof from the other units. Door and cabinets are worn out.
Location and staff is why I would recommend living here. But when I do, I do so with warning of cost vs. value.
