My fiance and I have lived in our 1 bedroom apartment for 15 months and we absolutely love our unit. Our view is amazing from the 11th floor and we get lots of natural/direct light which initially sold us. The apartment features (kitchen appliances, flooring/carpet, etc.) are very nice and modern. Overall, the noise level is very good, we've never had issues with sleeping or anything like that. However, there is a tenant on our floor whose dog is constantly barking. First of all, having pets is against the lease and management absolutely ignores this rule (it seems like half the building has a dog). Secondly, when we complained multiple times about the noise we never got any response at all. Also, there was someone on our floor who smoked we3d multiple times a week and we could smell it from inside our apartment. We also complained about this and never heard back. Management provides very short notice when there is scheduled maintenance for the apartment complex (less than a week). And they only provide these notices in/around the elevators on a piece of paper (could they not easily send out an email?). Overall, our experience living here has been outstanding, but if you get unlucky with a noisy or disruptive neighbor, good luck having anything done about it.

I really do love this building, but I am starting to regret renewing my lease for a second year. My neighbor blasts music so loudly either throughout the day and/or night, even past midnight at times, that I not only hear but feel everything (the vibrations of the booming of the bass and the drums). Despite the front desk’s efforts to call security to check and notify, seems like there’s no way to resolve this issue and existing protocols dealing with noise complaints seems to be ineffective. The noise just keeps getting louder. So basically the floors are a bit too thin to protect you from rude neighbors. If this is an issue for you, I suggest you look elsewhere to reside. Trust me. This is not worth losing your sanity. I’ve gotten sick over this for not being able to rest for days.

You can't go wrong with this property. There are plusses and minuses, but the location is ideal.
I've lived here almost a year now and love my apartment, the amenities, etc. However, management has recently started double booking the elevators and I am consistently waiting 10 minutes every weekend to get the elevator and then it stops on every other floor on the way down (there's 13 floors and I live on the top floor, or I'd walk). When I brought this up to the manager on duty, I got the most unfriendly, snarky response. I'm not sure why management thinks this is okay to do to their current residents. I wish they could hear every single person on the elevator complaining each weekend!
The leasing staff (especially Amina) has been extremely accommodating with our requests (move in date, parking, etc.) Amenities are top-notch and the location is perfect. We've loved living here and would 100% recommend.
The apartments are modern with top of the line finishes, hardwood floors, USB ports, GE appliances, and a walk in closet. The amenities, lobby, and common area are as good as any in the area. The location is perfect, one block to the metro and there are plenty of restaurants /bars/grocery/etc. options within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and I have not had any maintenance issues. I would highly recommend Virginia Square Towers.
Best: the apartment itself, the staff at the front desk, the gym. Worst: the elevators. I am so lucky to say that I literally only have one complaint about VST after living here for 6 months. The elevators are incredibly slow and do not adequately accommodate the number of residents. However, moving on to the positive...I cannot rave enough about the staff (shout out to the folks at the front desk) and the modern, well designed apartment units. I live in a 2 bed, 2 bath and could not be more pleased with the layout. The location is also amazing, as its right by Clarendon and the Virginia Square area is developing more with new restaurants coming soon and other nice apartments opening up across the street.
This apartment's set up, at almost 1500 sq/ft , feels as though three individual units were combined to build a palace. Each wing with its own character, unique lighting, walk-in closets, and massive bathrooms, provide a sense of individuality but still come together over a well-placed living room, kitchen, and dining room. The open architecture of the kitchen, with bar seating and a window into the living room, makes the unit feel huge without taking away from the character. appliances are all stainless steel and the kitchen back-splash is fantastic. Would live here for a long time no matter where it is, if i had two more roommates for next year!!! -Best. Apt. Ever.
The apartment itself is great! However management could definitely be better. It takes a long time for simple repairs and the leasing office is not very friendly.
This apartment building offers great amenities and brand new floor plans. The staff here is what really makes the difference as they are always on top of any request and very professional!
Virginia Square Towers is the best apartment in the DC area. Spacious floor plans, large closets, new GE appliances, hardwood floors, great amenities, and a perfect neighborhood. The staff is friendly and the neighbors are too. This place beats all other options.
Virginia Square Towers is a great apartment building with convenient access to the Orange Line metro and short walking distance to the bars and restaurants in Clarendon. The units are all well appointed with GE appliances, hardwoods floors, and USB outlets in the kitchen area. The front desk is always staffed and welcoming every time you're coming or going and everyone in the building is extremely friendly. I love the amenities, especially the gym, but wish that both the gym and pool/grill area were larger, especially considering the number of units and residents the buildings can hold.
Virginia Square Towers is a fantastic place to live with friendly concierge. I love the place, but do wish the apartments were larger for the prices they charge.
