Bordered by an expansive nature preserve of mountains and desert, Scottsdale proudly embraces an Old West aesthetic, and even bills itself as “the West’s most Western town.” However, the city’s energetic nightlife has also drawn comparisons to Miami’s South Beach, with thousands of residents and visitors from all over the Phoenix area coming to live it up on the weekends. To top it off, Scottsdale boasts a thriving arts scene, which incorporates well over 100 galleries and the famous Scottsdale Art Festival; the Scottsdale ArtWalk is a popular community event on Thursday nights as well.
As if that weren’t enough to convince you to become a renter in this thriving metropolis, Scottsdale’s public schools are among the best in the state. The crime rate is well below the state and national averages, making this city a terrific place to raise a family.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Vintage at Scottsdale
I moved to Scottsdale for work and lived at Vintage @ Scottsdale for exactly 4 years between 2018 and 2022. This complex is absolutely amazing! The front office staff are hands down the best in the business. They are friendly, approachable and on top of everything. I would put in a claim for maintenance and they were there either that day or at the very least the next morning. Their prices are also very accommodating in comparison to other complexes. They consistently are upgrading and maintaining the grounds and amenities for safety and convenience purposes. Mostly families and retired community. It was also extremely nice being close to the 101 and all the stores. Highly, highly recommend! Please don't skip this place for your potential next residence.
Property Manager at Vintage at Scottsdale, Responded To This Review
Thank you for being our valued resident for 4 years and for sharing this five-star review of our community! Customer service is our number one priority, so it is rewarding to hear how friendly incredible our entire team has been throughout your residency. We are pleased to hear how much you enjoy the convenient location, competitive market rates, and array of amenities. If there is anything else we can do to continue to ensure your experience at our community is an exceptional one, please do not hesitate to let us know. Thank you!
I've lived a lot of places in Arizona, and this complex has the best staff and maintenance people around. They are professional and courteous. The complex is nice and neighbors are friendly. You couldn't ask for a better place to call 'home'.
My husband and I have lived here for almost a year now and it exceeds our expectations. Veronica is so helpful and caring, does a great job of managing the Vintage. Greg in maintenance is there right away if we need him. They both make our living here so enjoyable. Everything is clean and beautiful grounds and I swim in the pool everyday, it's warm as bath water! We are within walking distance of the library, grocery stores, drug store, health clinic, beauty salon, lots of restaurants, pet store, and lots more. We couldn't ask for a better place to live!
I lived at Vintage for a year and had a very pleasant experience with their staff. Veronica and Amanda are both very helpful and always courteous. They made the experience of living their even better. They have been making improvements to the community and working hard to improve the resident's experience. Would highly recommend.
The Vintage is priced great for it's location. It has easy access to the 101, but is set in a nice neighborhood. It is surrounded by good restaurants, and there is a grocery store directly across the street. It is also very close to a Walmart Supercenter, Target, Ross, TJ Maxx, Costco, Sam's Club, Sports Chalet, BestBuy, and more. The apartment has a great layout, with full size washer and dryer in apartment. Even in a one bedroom floorplan. We did have a problem with the water heater, but maintenance quickly resolved, and even replaced our kitchen sink faucet with a new one just because. Office staff is friendly and helpful. They remember us by name. Pool and Gym are both open 24 hours. Parking is a little bit of an issue, as there are not too many uncovered spots near our apartment. The back side of the complex has quite a few uncovered spots, but doesn't help much as our apt is not near the backside. My wife also said she thought it was a smoke free complex, although there are people who do smoke. Does not bother me, but it may be important to you.
The Vintage Apartments have plentiful space. Two fairly large bedrooms and extra storage areas within the apartment. If you get a garage (which costs extra), first be certain that you can actually pull your car into the space - it's v-e-r-y narrow. If you rent a garage, you must use it to park your car. If there's any extra space, it can be used for storage. But you can't use it for storage only. The grounds are very nice with flowing, manmade brooks everywhere. If I had a wish list, the balconies would be larger, covered/deeper (a MUST in a hot climate) and the 2 bdrm. apartments would have double-master suites. The balcony was a key item on my list, but I ran out of time looking for just the right place. But I have an amazing view, so it partly makes up for it. A very nice item is that there is NO valet trash!
I've lived at Vintage at Scottsdale for 6 years now. I moved into a 1 bedroom and stayed there for 4 years. After looking at several apartments, when I wanted a bigger place, I ended up staying at Vintage and found the best 2 bedroom apartment for the rate around Scottsdale. The maintenance and management team has always been helpful and very friendly! My neighbor, has lived at Vintage for 9 years! They just finished redoing the concrete and pavements and it looks amazing! Close to all major grocery stores and shopping areas and just 2 miles from the freeway. I run at night on Frank Lloyd Wright, and the roads are well lit and very safe. I highly recommend living here! :)
