Property Ratings at Village Park Green
Wash rooms constantly flooded. They use tape for washer hoses instead of replacing them. Dryers do not dry properly. Storage above tandem parking is taken by others and management doesn't know who. Sliding door, in apartment, to the balcony has a leak. When it rains, water will come in and cause damage to floor and also mold if windows aren't open. Window in non master bedroom is old and not sealed properly so water gets in and rattles when it's windy. There are drain flies in bathroom sinks and master shower leaks.
Do not move in there!!! We moved 3 months ago and regretted it!! Pool is only available during the summer (3 months out of 12 and we live in Los Angeles!! Ridiculous!). We had 1 bike and 1 stroller got stollen there and I m not talking about mail and packages. Window a/c is a total joke. You have to have it turned on day and night and we are talking about $200 extra a month for electricity!!! After we moved in we discovered that the oven was broken. They couldn’t fix it for a month so basically I couldn’t cook a proper meal to my family and kids for a month!! A lot of small details that had to told to be changed, replaced and fixed. But the best part is that there is NO ONE to complaint!! The owner of the building/landlord is a ghost. He doesn’t have an email/phone or an adress you can adress you issues. Everything has to be submitted in writing to a manager. Total joke!
The good: Very walkable neighborhood, Culver City schools are great, pretty quiet. The not so good: Plumbing is old and needs work (expect your water to be shut off from time to time), laundry rooms often have numerous broken machines that take months to replace, small pool is not heated and only open during the summer months.
The laundry room is always broken and disrepair as well as neglected. The tenants always leave trash by the dumpster and never clean up after themselves. The plumbing here is horrible and the water is often shut off because of that. The swimming pool is only open during the height of summer. But it is in a good neighborhood.
