Maintenance is generally quick to respond to requests. Staff is friendly and helpful. Both dog park areas are great but could use a little more maintenance attention sometimes.

Have lived here for years and would absolutely recommend it to someone looking for an affordable apartment in a great part of town. Location is the best perk, with so many walkable stores, restaurants and more. The building doesn’t offer the same amenities as other buildings in the area, but the price makes up for it.

This is a great place to live. Deja is wonderful and very responsive. The location is ideal. Close to work for me, the shopping mall and plenty of great restaurants.

Having just moved in this week, it has been wonderful to have the apartment in tip top shape ready for me to make it my home! So happy with my decision in moving here!

We have been residents for two years and enjoy living here and thus renewed our lease for another year. Our only complaint is the management does not keep the garage clean. The leaves and trash need to be blown out weekly. We continually track these leaves into our cars and into the elevator and halls. A messy garage can be a turn off for a potential new resident.

Facility is nicely kept. Location is fantastic and very walkable. Security is good and I feel safe on the grounds. Parking garage is well lit.

Everything was very smooth moving in Deja was very pleasant and helpful. Very response to things getting done. I have met my neighbors they all are very friendly.

Living here has been nice, the building is very quiet and feels safe. However, as a younger person I wish there were community events to participate in. I want to meet my neighbors and create a community where I live. If this is something you are not desiring, you will love it here. If that is something you are looking for, you will be left found wanting.

I love this apartment complex! Hoping we continue to have such an excellent place to live and continue to have a great community experiences.

So far I'm loving it! The staff is so kind and the small community is great. Being in Green Hills is convenient to everything but this is tucked away a bit. The closets are also huge which is a plus!

The team at Village Green Hills is very accommodating and welcoming, and the location is perfect! The apartments are so nice, and there’s a gym on site!

Village Green Hills is a wonderful place to live! It’s secure, quiet, and fun. Samantha, the property manager, is always planning events for us to meet our neighbor's. The location is perfect because it’s walkable to so many restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops!

We love living here—just renewed our lease. Good “neighbors”, great building manager, and responsive maintenance. The location couldn’t be better: walk to the YMCA and grocery stores and a pharmacy. Restaurants and Green Hills Mall down the street, but the grounds are nice (no urban feel). Five stars!

Convenient location within a short distance to shopping and restaurants. It was also important to be near Brookdale for my mother-in-law. The apartment has everything we need , and parking and security are good. The apartment management is amazing.

Samantha in the office has been so helpful with every part of moving in and every day life. Love it here and can’t beat the location. Everyone in the neighborhood is very kind as well.

I have LOVED living at Village Green Hills since we moved in about 2 months ago. You cannot find better prices in the city for a location like this! We are within walking distance to the mall, grocery stores, restaurants, and more. We are so lucky to have found this place. Samantha, the leasing manager, is awesome and hosts lots of fun events for the community. If you are looking for an affordable home in an unmatched location, look no further!

The management is attentive, responsive and plain ‘ok nice people. There is a good vibe, clean and well-taken care of. Great location so close to so much, I’ve been here 18months and have no plans to move!

I was really worried about moving during the pandemic, especially since I worked in rental collections and I knew how bad apartments could be with bad management, but this place turned out to be a dream come true. The management is excellent, maintenance is always done fast and good, and the community is really warm and makes it feel like home.

Beautiful property/grounds, many places to hang out with people visiting. Parking garage My unit was clean moving in, and the doors and windows are fully properly sealed (my old place did not). Actually walking distance (sidewalks!) from everything - mall, kroger, walgreens, ..., . even has a walkway to the YMCA. Has an Elevator! Doors are wheelchair-friendly width for my chair. Actually has a Washer/dryer in-unit, doesn't just say it does for views, it actually does. Has recycling on-site! The best part is the management. Samantha answers emails and returns calls *really fast*, and she walked me through the guidelines and the portal when I moved in. Super friendly and there are little community things as well that she organizes (ex: 'boo-ing' for Halloween). She is very friendly, (even after you sign the lease), and even put a little 'welcome home' note on the counter when I moved in. There are also automated text announcements and reminders. I haven't met many of my neighbors yet, but everyone I have met seems really nice. My only frustration is the parking spaces are a bit narrow. (Sometimes I can smell the dominos or donut den from the garage on strong windy days, which I notice bc I have allergies, but that's a personal problem.)

I moved to Nashville for graduate school and I cannot think of a better place to live than here!! I am at school at Lipscomb university which is only about an 8 minute commute! The people that live in this building are amazing. The patio area/outdoor space makes this an oasis to live in. I can walk to the Y right next store, have covered parking, and feel very very safe in this complex. I absolutely love it here and couldn't recommend it more!

I lived here a few years back and missed it so much I moved back! The apartments are very comfortable and in a great location walking distance to the mall! The building manager is also so helpful and plans wonderful community events!

Everything about Village Green Hills has exceeded our expectations. The property is well maintained and has plenty of green space. The location is amazing. Any thing you could need (groceries, mall, shops, YMCA) is within walking distance. The property and apartments are well maintained. The property manager is fantastic and extremely responsive. Great place to live!

Amazing apartment. Great location, located behind The Mall at Green Hills. The manager, Samantha, is amazing. Very easy to get into contact with and any issue that you might have is addressed in a timely manner. Much more space than other apartments in the area for the same price, and the apartment is in great condition! Very satisfied with living here.

Between lease negotiation, move in and services after move in I've really enjoyed living at the Village Green Hills.

The common areas and elevators stay filthy & the lady who works in the leasing office is rude and unprofessional. A LOT better places in Nashville to rent for the money!

Beware of staff. I had a horrible experience and ended my lease early with a penalty just to get out of there. Management walked into my apartment while I was in there without any notice, owner was very aggressive and made me feel very uncomfortable- mind you, I’m a young female! Wasn’t exactly the most welcoming with pets. Yes, it is pet friendly, but if your dog makes the slightest noise around the property you are on the “watch list.” Most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever been in...

The place is beautiful however the walls & floors are thin (you hear everything). The staff ignores you, they are no help whatsoever on the weekends, and the manager never works her schedule for you to be able to speak to her. Not worth the money

I lived at Village Green Hills for two years between 2015 and 2017 and could not have been happier with my apartment home. Although I was steps away from shopping at Kroger, Whole Foods, and Green Hills Mall, my second floor unit in the A building was refreshingly tranquil and quiet. When I went to work out, I simply walked a few steps to the YMCA, which is immediately behind the property. This property is one of the most walk-able in all of Green Hills. VGH is also a gated community, and I never felt any hesitation about walking at night. While the A and B buildings of the property are older than the newly constructed C building, they have been renovated quite nicely with an attention for detail, such as the light powder blue of the living room ceiling, which may not seem much, but if you've lived in bland, vanilla apartments like I did as a college student, you'll appreciate these touches. The kitchen has all the amenities one would expect from a luxury apartment: granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and tasteful cabinets and finishes. The remodeling has made the most of space (such as sacrificing a coat closet for a washer and dryer), but one still has to be a little creative with storage. The unit has separate, programmable air conditioners for each bedroom and the living room, which do a great job of both cooling and heating the apartment. To some unfamiliar with renting in Green Hills, the rent may seem a bit steep, but you really are paying for the convenience of living in such a ideally located community. The rent is also not out of step with similar luxury rental properties in the area. Perhaps one of the greatest perks of living in this community were the property managers, first Elizabeth and then Veronica. The property changed ownership while I was living there, and Veronica stepped in and could not have been kinder or more professional during this transitional period. She was both attentive and understanding to my requests about the property, and she exhibited a genuine concern for making the community the best it could be. I was only in Nashville for a brief time, but I will always have good memories of living at Village Green Hills.

Great place to live! The grounds are immaculate and very tranquil. The owners, management and maintenance staff go above and beyond to provide exceptional service for their residents. This gated community is truly one of a kind and feels like a home vs. apartment living. The older units have been brought up to modern standards and the new building has breathtaking views with safe, secure parking and great outdoor entertaining areas. It is a great place to call home!
