Village at Lionsgate

My family and I moved here 08/2020. During the past years, any time we required any maintenance in our unit, they delivered same day service most of the time. Vill of Lions gate staff and me team are efficient and friendly. The area is calm and beautiful compared to other apt complexes. We love it here.

Nice, comfortable place. I love having an attached garage. I’ll be here almost 4 years. The only issue is being on a busy street. Other than that the staff are friendly and helpful.

The only downside is that the roads do not get plowed at a reasonable time. They wait until the snow fall complete stops to plow the roads. You also need to be careful when the roads ice over. They barely salt them. Other than that, the place is clean and well kept.

The Village at Lionsgate continues to be a wonderful and peaceful community! I've lived here for over 3 years now. The staff and maintenance crew are friendly and helpful and the walking path around the lake is pleasant.

So far it's been a wonderful and easy experience. When I was uncertain on where I was going to live before I moved here the village at lionsgate gave my fiance and I a place to grow our futures together and I couldn't be more grateful!

The management is really good, if you have any question nor concern they are always there to help you, the only problem is some neighbors some times just throw trash on the walkways

We have been extremely happy so far as new residents! The staff are wonderful and attentive and all questions or issues that have arrived have been addressed promptly. The neighbors are wonderful people and it is a beautiful place to be. We are glad we made the move!

This truly does feel like a village. Everyone is friendly. We love walking around the lake and management and maintenance are both excellent when addressing concerns.

So far it has been very nice. Quiet community and fast maintenance. Beautiful lake in the middle of the building with a nice walking trail. There were a few things broken when we first moved in though.

Property was built with the idea of not sharing walls. Which is great because you don’t hear anything next-door. I only have people above me and rarely hear anything. Nice and quiet property! Great amenities!! - package service, pool, 24 hour access to clubhouse with pool table, shuffle board, ping pong table, arcade games. Exactly what I needed and more than I thought I wanted!!!

We've been at The Village at Lionsgate for a year. The community is peaceful, with friendly neighbors and a charming central water feature that adds to the calm atmosphere. It's conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and just a short drive to shopping malls and grocery stores. The management team and maintenance staff are professional and responsive, always aiming to complete work on time. While we love it here, we do wish for a few improvements—an upgraded gym, more community meet-ups, and better enforcement for dog owners to clean up after their pets. Overall, it's a lovely place to live!

Mr. loves the atmosphere of these apartments, without a doubt the attention when requesting a maintenance service is super fast, teh guys are very attentive in reception, and our neighbors very respectful.

Love the complex. The lake and the geese and ducks are my favorite. It’s so nice to be surrounded by nature. Nicole in leasing is fabulous and goes out of her way. Only 2 negatives, the apartments need updating and the gym is small and fells crammed.

The apartment overall is very good , something that I noticed is that the maintenance people are very quick and very respectful and the same time are knocking at the door before to get in

Its 4th year that our family is staying in this community. It is great place to live for family. I strongly recommend to everybody to stay here.

I've had a wonderful experience living here. The apartment community is well-maintained and offers excellent amenities, including a modern fitness center and a beautiful pool area. The management team is incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any concerns. The community events they organize make it easy to meet neighbors and feel a part of the community. Overall, it's been a fantastic place to call home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and well-managed apartment community.

Nice overall but apartments are old and not very insulated. Besides that, nice community. Just needs renovations to make current rates reasonable

Everything about V@LG is great. I wish that something could be done about blocking the increasing party/noise coming from tennis court on 146thTer. side (7am-10 pm daily)

Very nice community with some great facilities and very supportive leasing and office staff. This is our 3 year renewing with them and we are very satisfied with the community.

At the start, the leasing agent Moe was exceptionally invested and helpful, and he maintained this attitude throughout. Maintenance was thorough and quick in fixing the few minor issues that needed addressed upon moving in. Pet waste bags are provided throughout the property, and the grass is maintained nicely. The apartment itself is awesome and spacious. I love living here!

The process of finding an available apartment, understanding the elements of the lease and learning the culture and amenities was flawless. Moe was stellar - listening, asking the right questions, and then taking the time needed to explore options and drive me around the property. No problems on the move-in, nice follow up by staff, and friendly neighbors. You can’t ask for more than that!

The place is very spacious and accommodating. Me and my fiancé are loving the place so far and can't wait to get fully acclimated into our new living space.

Love my apartment. The office staff seems to be very caring and helpful. Apartments has a few things that need to be attended to and I know it will be. I’m very happy in this spacious 2 bedroom apartment. I really love the size of the rooms and am thrilled with the floors. Looking forward to living here for a very long time.

Pretty nice area, well maintained and friendly staff. The amenities are great. No complains other than packages get misplaced/misdelivered frequently, and there’s a ton of geese poop on the walking trail.

Great Community, have lived here for over 3 years and really enjoyed the amenities. The affordability for a Single apartment is very good, and one the highest quality neighborhoods and atmosphere you could ask for.

I love it here. I have now been here about seven years It’s quiet the lake is peaceful. I love taking my grandchildren fishing here and they’re always sure to catch something ! The office personnel is so extremely nice and the maintenance is on top of everything.

I cannot recommend this apartment complex! While the location is convenient, the management charges high prices for units that underdeliver in quality and service. Upon move-in, I encountered wet carpets, 2 leaking sinks, and the walls were left unpainted and unpatched. The unit itself was in poor condition with holes in the linoleum floor and carpet that was probably 20 years old. The musty smell did not go away despite running an air purifier 24/7. The units are poorly insulated which means you will need to run heat or AC constantly. I've lived in Los Angeles in the summertime, my electric bill was higher in this unit than California. Worst of all, the air conditioning was not fixed for three months during the scorching summer heat. If you get a garage or live near one you will always hear it or the neighbors when they use it. Luckily, I lived next to a man who worked a late shift, so I got to hear everything as he came home and yelled at his daughter for staying up late and inviting guys over. Additionally, the grounds are poorly maintained, with residents even required to provide their own salt for walkways during winter. There was a dead bird on the grounds for 3 weeks that was not picked up. To top it off, the gym for residents is rusting, and the equipment is constantly broken or underperforming.To add insult to injury, I was charged for a stained stove top that was clearly from the previous resident. Despite explaining the situation, they still charged a cleaning fee for the appliance. Additionally, you will be charged 200$ at minimum to clean the carpets upon move out. Yes, believe the reviews that say they will charge you for everything. I put my trash out for pickup 15 minutes early one day... that was a fun 25$ fee. Disappointing experience overall.

I definitely love 10/10 I don't regret moving here. Since I saw them I loved the area and I decided to take a tour, from there when I saw them I said it is exactly what my husband and I were looking for.

Definitely 5 Stars! We moved here in August and we absolutely love living here. Everyone has been so friendly & welcoming. The community it self is great, quiet, clean, safe and beautiful. We love the lake, all upgraded appliances and all the amenities offered. We love calling Lionsgate Home!

We were placed here for a corporate relocation. It was a nightmare from the start, constant maintenance issues and the staff was very unprofessional giving special treatment to new tenant friends.

My husband and I really loved the time we spent at Village at Lionsgate. The community has a lot to offer including a gorgeous lake, bonfire pit, pool with grill and lounge area, game room, and gym. They’re also very dog friendly! We loved to walk our dogs around the lake at sunset. The bonfire pit made a great place to hang with our friends. We also loved the attached garage that came with our place. The staff and maintenance team were the best! The property managers also did more for the community with upgrades repair than any place we’d previously been. We’ve lived in a lot of luxury apartments in the JoCo area none of them beat Lionsgate.

The slow service issue was resolved when new management took over the complex. There are now several employees there any time the office is open, which has sped up the service greatly. It's a quiet place to live (most of the time).

The Village at lionsgate in Overland Park, KS, is a great location to be at! It's right next to everything, including Corbin Park shopping center, resturants, grocery stores, etc. The apartment itself is really nice, our's is set up like a townhome, has an attached garage. All white cabinets, granit counter tops, hardwood floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Great spacious floor plans! Has a nice clubhouse with a gym! We're right next to the pond so we can hang out in the driveway and look at that. You can fish, there is a nice walking trail around the pond. The neighbors are great! The only con I have about this place is really the price, it's a bit to much for a 1 bedroom, but you pay for the location and the ammentites. So all in all it's a great place to live at! The staff is amazing! And the maitence is always on point with everything! It's really a great place to live at!

I just want to say I really love my apartment. The management and sales reps were nice and friendly. Out of all the apartment that I applied with The village of lions Excepted me and did not make me pay a huge deposit like some of the other apartments that I had applied with which turned me down knowing I was desperate for a place to live. I have fell on some financial difficulties and I was homeless for 3 months living at extended stays and other unmentionable places. I prayed and I was truly blessed with a great place to live. It is quite a wonderful lake to walk around and nice residents. I'm so pleased with my place and would recommend this apartment unit to anyone.

Outside is a bit plain - similar to former brick Army housing. Inside is a small kitchen with s/s appliances. Living room is OK. I use dining area as computer area and it is fine for that. Bathroom for some reason is HUGE. Room in there to put a piece of furniture if you wanted to do so. Bedroom is OK nothing outstanding. A pool and workout area are available . All in All - a good place to live if you can do without fancy stuff.
