It's just okay. We lived there for a year and couldn't wait to get out. The apartment itself was nice enough, but good luck getting maintenance to do a single thing. They'll mark your request as completed within seconds of you submitting it and never actually come fix it. The water is shut off constantly -- and I mean CONSTANTLY! I think we only ever went like 4-5 days, maximum, without having the water shut off for "repairs". The place is also infested with German cockroaches -- they're everywhere, and impossible to keep out of pet food, fridges, anything electronic. The complex also sends every single resident at least 4-5 emails a day, always the same thing over and over and over again, and it's incredibly annoying. There's also a LOT of homeless people all over the area, and no gates on the property to keep them out. My car also got illegally towed twice and the complex refused to do anything about it.

I renewed my lease this year for 2 reasons. One: I really wasn't ready to move yet. Two: The maintenance staff has gotten better over time. I'm loving the work that they do more & more. Susan, Corrine & Ashley are super incredible. They make sure that they try to handle each & every concern that you have to the best of their ability. There are a few things that I don't like about the property but for the most part, I can say that this far the good has outweighed the bad.

I have lived here for over a year. It is very peaceful. Management is great. Any and I mean any issues or concerns that I have had were taken care of in a timely manner. I renewed my lease because of management caring about everything that concerned me.

I have had a positive experience working with the office team thus far. Both Ashley and Corrine have been exceptionally helpful during my moving process. Despite feeling anxious about the move, they were able to address all of my concerns. The maintenance manager and his team have also been fantastic, promptly resolving any issues that arose and demonstrating patience with even the smallest matters.

Edit August 2022 - Three Months into the lease I have grown to hate this place in such a short time! This has not been a pleasant experience due to maintenance issues and nonchalant attitude of the office staff. There is literally only one of a dozen issues that has been addressed the first time it was brought to their attention. You will have to put in multiple work orders for the same issues and it will still not be resolved. Honestly the apartment was not move- in ready when I picked the keys up unless their standards is below hell. I did try to overlook it because I knew we were not moving in right away and I had faith it would be taken care of by our actual move in date. I should of known then, I had just purchased a 14 month ticket on the hot mess express! The only way to get a work order addressed, not repaired just acknowledged, is to put it in as an emergency otherwise the work order will be open for well over a week. I had such high hopes after the level of customer service I received during the leasing process.

The Venue has a great location and is even decent at resolving maintenance issues quickly, if small, but when it comes to major issues they leave their residents hanging, while charging them for a product they're not providing. Yes, a large storm affected the complex, but charging monthly rent for customers who have been left with unlivable circumstances is not ok, nor is "explaining that others got affected worse than you" an excuse for not taking care of your clients.
I enjoy living at the Venue. The office staff and maintenance staff are excellent. I would recommend the Venue to my friends and family and a great place to live.

Office personnel are always happy and helpful. Also the maintenance crew is always quick on the draw. If there is an emergency, maintenance is there almost before you complete reporting the problem.

Just moving in and only been here for about 2 weeks the community is quite a far neighbors are good so far, but my apartment has a lot of issues and doesn't like that it wasn't clean when first moving in. As much money we are playing right now it should have been better than this.

Yes I am going to be one of those people and say that if it was possible to give these guys zero stars, I would. In the heat of July our a/c went out and the apartment itself got up to 90* while it was 103* outside. It was broken for an entire week before someone came to replace the unit and I have a two year old and dog. Now there is mold in our apartment and finally 7 days after the request was put in they are doing something about it. This time around I got a lawyer and moved into a hotel but do not move here. They do not help unless threatened in dire situations and the apartment maintenance workers harass people and do not call when asked to. I could've lost my job because they sat outside my door while I was working, pounding on the door and yelling into my apartment for 9 minutes. Do NOT move in here. Save yourself lawyer costs and safety.
Apartment smells like cigarettes now that the paint fumes have worn off. They didn't use primer either so a lot of paint is flaking off. Loud towing trucks drive through the property constantly looking for victims. The first week a cockroach the size of a silver dollar came flying at me from the sink drain. The laundry closet has an unbearable smell. etc etc etc
I recently came in interested in leasing a 1BR/1BA. Upon arriving, there were three workers in the office but only one helping and the others were goofing off. They told me to have a seat and they’d be right with me. I didn’t mind that. But, residents started coming in and the two workers goofing off started talking to them. Then someone else came into the office and they asked them if they could help him... no hold on one second. Nothing. Just completely skipped over me. I had an appointment. Definitely won’t be coming back to a place where the leasing office doesn’t care about its future residents.
The apartments are very nice, but will never ever in my life go there in the office. I have a family member living there. The so called manager Nicky is a total wast of payroll. She yelled at my kids for laughing! After I quite down my kids she came back and said there was a conformance next door. She could have easily said that instead of yelling at my kids. My family member was there and was able to talk to her, if not I would have snapped at her.
I've lived here for over a year, and while the apartment is great and the office staff is sufficient, the community is a nightmare. If quiet is what you're looking for, continue looking. Parents treat the parking lot like a daycare for their children and let them run around the complex unsupervised. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to honk at children to get out of the street so I can pass through and been cussed at by either children or parents (the few times they're actually around) There has yet to be a day I haven't had children screaming at the top of their lungs outside of my apartment. I've had kids try and break one of my windows, other children threaten my roommate with a weapon, and throw their trash in my can (three violations of trash in the valet can and you no longer have valet trash but are still charged for it). For a college student who just wants to come home to a quiet apartment and study, I gravely regret my decision to renew my lease here.
They made me pay my first months rent in full and made me wait until the middle of the month to move in. When I finally moved in, the carpet was old and damaged, the walls had holes in them, the blinds were all torn and damaged and the tub looks disguisting!!!! The site manager Michelle speaks in riddles and never gives me direct answers and the assistant Nikki Arrington was even worse. They lost my money order deposit and demanded I make another deposit. They are nothing more than scammers and extremely rude....please let this complex be your last resort!!! If you don't believe me, sit in the leasing office for 5 minutes. A resident is bound to storm in cussing and fussing about something.
Do not be deceived by the outside appearance! I've been living here 1 1/2 yrs and seen a drastic decline in this complex. Management changed, staff is rude and lazy, the rent is too high for the low quality of service, they charge excessive fees like a $4 mandatory monthly billing statement fee, do not answer the office phone or return phone calls, they refuse mail packages and it takes months to get maintenance repairs done and there's ALWAYS trash everywhere!
I lived here for almost 5 years and love it until they got new management. They are rude and never follow through, and charging me 3 additional fees and increased my rent from my last lease by $40. I reported a repair 4 months ago they still haven't came out. And you can't even talk to the main office because they tell you to talk to a recording. They never call back.
it ok but with the money I paid it could be better so I at looking new Apartment and just to be the next 9 years until retirement because I do not see myself in Texas or anywhere in Texas want to back home and that all I can say about being here
No breed/pet restrictions. No pet rent. One of the few places in the metroplex that allows that. If that is what you need, this is the place for you. The last time the police were out, they also said this is the safest apartment complex in the area. However, maintenance and the office staff is slow to respond to needs. Rules are not generally enforced i.e. dogs off leash, unsupervised children throwing rocks and jumping over porch railings, garbage bags outside doors, grilling on porches, noise restrictions (large parties in the parking lots well after midnight). One pool wasn't open last summer and both didn't open until late July this year. Basketball and tennis courts often have graffiti and broken glass/trash on them.
