I love it here. The sunsets are to die for. Very Peaceful. No Traffic. I love the trails. My neighbors are always super nice. The gym and clubhouse are always clean.

While Vecina is a nice community, it has some drawbacks. The most significant issue is the severe lack of parking, which is enforced by a strict towing policy at night. In terms of amenities, the complex disappointingly lacks a hot tub. Furthermore, the dog park is consistently neglected and left unsanitary, making it an unpleasant space due to pet waste and flies.

The leasing office is very nice, big, welcoming and modern. Very well designed. My apartment layout is great, is big considering it is a studio. Leasing office shared with me the information I needed about the unit option I selected and signed for. Area is residential and close to schools and commercial area. Area is quiet in overall.

The apartment complex is very nice. The staff provides a really good customer service. The leasing office looks very modern. Downstairs has the swimming pool, playground area, and gym which is very large. Also has the mail room area next to the swimming pool. My bedroom unit is a studio, and for being a studio is large and very well distributed. This is a decent area quiet and well located. Ana big place.

The Vecina Apartments' greatest feature is its location. The schools are amazing, and shopping is close. The gym is nice for an apartment complex. The pool is great, although management continues to increase rules regarding its use. I believe it is still an attractive feature. The cons have everything to do with the management. I have lived at the Vecina for a few years now, while I finished school and started a new job. There have been multiple management changes, and it has steadily gotten worse with each new cohort. Their treatment of the residents is indifferent at best. I have only made one real request to the staff, and the response always included excuses and how this was a serious inconvenience. Many amenities offered when we moved in have been removed (snack bar, gate to trails, promise of a vehicle gate, open clubhouse). Overall, the Vecina is a decent place to live if you are pleased with the location. Generally, consider the clubhouse unavailable, and enjoy the view.

However, we're truly sorry that your experience with management and the changes to amenities has not met your expectations. Unfortunately, the gate to the trails was closed by the City of San Antonio, as that area is not part of our property. I will be following up with ownership regarding the possibility of a vehicle gate. Please also note that our clubhouse is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, and the fitness center is available to residents 24/7. We are committed to improving the resident experience and would really appreciate the chance to speak with you directly to better understand your concerns and how we can address them. Staff has not gotten back to me after my car was towed due to somehow it being removed off the website where they track vehicles. The staff themselves had entered my vehicle on this website and now they are not taking accountability for my vehicle, not to mention its been two weeks since the event and I have not heard anything. It took 2 hours just to get them to come back to the office from lunch and talk to them about the situation. Trash pick up is constantly an issue, yet I continue to be charged and only to have multiple trash bags sitting and smelling outside of my front door. You would thing the staff would take responsibility and send someone else to pick them up, but they never do.

Very peaceful, friendly residents and staff. Feels like a suburban area with all the green areas, light traffic and close community schools, libraries and even small shopping center for everything you need on a daily basis. But it is close enough from downtown and other mayor entertainment options. I have only been here for 2 weeks but I am already loving it, enjoying the pool and clubhouse area. I have no complaints so far.

Been at the Vecina apartments for 3 years and it has been a great experience. Just signed the lease for another year. Staff is great, property is kept clean, consistent communications coming from management. Apartment complex is centrally located for easy access to the freeway allowing you to quickly travel to just about any part of San Antonio. Close to shopping and restaurants, yet far enough where you don't get caught up in the traffic. Apartments backup to an open area which I believe cannot be developed and has trails for walking. Another positive for the location. Don't have young children but there is a grade school right next door and other schools are not far from the complex.

After leaving as a resident and coming back as a guest nothing has improved overall at this location. Parking still the same, the worst. Speed bumps never solve the problems of speeders. Elevator doesn’t work when needed it the most, and doesn’t get fix as soon as possible for the ones that needed the most. No one answer the phone at the front desk or call back or emails. Office close when not being notified when it’s closing early. Cheap A/C filters they give us. Letters should be in mailbox not on the door for everyone business to be known is not okay for personal safety. Pest control could do a better job.

The view of the hill country and the location in stone oak is enough to make it worth it alone, also the apartments are new and the kitchens are huge. Definitely do not regret moving here

Very clean area and safe! Everyone I’ve run into is very nice. Some noise due to neighbors but the actual surrounding area is very quiet and residential.

The community has potential, but it falls short in several areas. The constant noise from towing trucks late at night is disruptive, and the lack of communication about changes to amenities is frustrating. I chose to live here for the amenities, but some are only accessible during office hours, which is very inconvenient. Unfortunately, property management is practically nonexistent, which only adds to the disappointment.

Parking sucks, trash is not consistent, maintenance request don’t read comments, other residents don’t pick up their dog litter and dog park is not clean. However the location is nicer

I give the apartment complex 5 stars. It provides all the amenities we need and then some. It's clean, quiet and not overly crowded. It is easy to place maintenance requests via the portal. The maintenance team is outstanding. We've been here for a month and have no complaints with the living environment. The leasing process was frustrating if you don't have direct in-person access to the front office. Securing a lease online was a 4 star process through the application stage. The follow-up was far more difficult. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and it was days before my emails were responded to. Initial deposit requires cash via a third party and that was also a negative as it was very nerve-wracking , inconvenient, and didn't feel at all legit or safe. I found it very strange that you could pay online for the application process, can pay online for every month after the first, but were required cash via a third party to pay the initial deposit.

Absolutely love living here. We have been residents for a year and have signed a lease to renew. Chelsea has come in and completely changed the living experience of Vecina. She has listened to the residents and been able to put things in action swiftly! We are so grateful for her coming in as the new manager. Kassandra, in the front office is always a big help. The maintenance here are top tier. Live here and you won’t regret it!
