Moving into this community has been a fantastic experience from day one. The management team is friendly, responsive, and truly cares about the residents. The property is well-maintained, with clean common areas and amenities that make daily life more enjoyable—whether it’s the gym, lounge, or outdoor spaces. My apartment was spotless upon move-in and had a modern layout with quality finishes. Neighbors have been welcoming, and the overall atmosphere feels safe and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was how easy the setup process was, especially with utilities and services. Verizon even offered me a great home internet package when I moved in, which made settling in smoother and saved me time and money. It’s clear that they partner with the community to offer residents extra value. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and connected living experience.

Love the convenience and the gym is amazing. Feel so at peace at home as I should. The leasing staff are great and very personable and im never to far from the party so If you like you drink youll never have to drive lol

Just moved into Urbanite. Very easy access. Love my new apartment. Everything is so clean and new. Love my little balcony . Washing my first load of laundry. New sheets.

I have lived in both a 1 & 2 bedroom here and love it! The apartments have concrete between each floor so it’s always quiet. Amazing views and fun community events each month with food and drinks!

Excellent all around- facilities, shared amenities, management, community, location. We love living here and have stayed multiple years as a result!

We are new residents here so we haven’t experienced much yet but we can say that so far the experience we have had with staff has been great and the place itself feels welcoming and fitting for us and we are excited to move in and experience everything there is to offer!

Urbanite provides excellent apartments with caring and understanding property managers, as well as speedy and efficient maintenance. Urbanites location provides benefits because the lake is a 10 minute walk away, and many food places are nearby.

I've been living here for around 6 months and love it! The views are great, and the staff at the building are all great people. Really nice atmosphere overall and no complaints. Would recommend to anyone seeing this.

It’s been great living here overall. The apartment has good management! No maintenance issues with the apartment. The apartment building is pretty safe!

Urbanite provides great service and hospitality on every day of the week! I have had service requests put in and finished within an hour. Every staff member is always super helpful and welcoming. The entire complex is spotless and super well kept.

The community at this apartment is great. They really try to keep you engaged by having you fill out online surveys. Something I wish they did more of was host parties/socials for the apartment members to get to know each other.

Great apartment, lake view on the east side of the building is very nice. The parking is a bit on the tight side if you have a larger vehicle. Management has been very helpful and communicative so far.

I have been most pleased with all aspects of the Urbanite. It is a safe and well maintained location. Other tenents are kind and the on-site property management is very responsive.

All around great community to live in! Location is perfect- easy to walk to an abundance of restaurants, the lake, trails, downtown. High value for the price given our excellent amenities, property managers, and maintenance staff.

Great location with walking distance to Wholefoods market and Brady street. Plenty of restaurant selections nearby. Excellent management. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful building, safe, perfect location, respectful employees…I could go on. I have never once had an issue that wasn’t quickly fixed or a problem with anyone inside the building. Living here has been nothing short of wonderful.

Excellent location, staff is very vast to respond when troubles arise. Love the unit I live in, only complaint I have is elevators tend to go down frequently. Never both at the same time but when one goes down on can take awhile to catch one and living on the 11th floor with an older dog who can’t make the steps can be an issue. To add to the positives building is very dog friendly!

A well-managed and well-maintained building. John and other members of the office staff are responsive, helpful, and friendly. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. Great location, with easy access to the Oak Leaf Trail.

Having a great time so far. Place is quiet, secured heated parking, amazing views and the staff are amazing!I always feel like they are there for me in any need that comes up. Very communicative for any issues that arise and issues are dealt with professionalism and urgency.

Property managers are so friendly and try to solve every issue. Property is clean and people are nice. If you’re standing right at your door you can hear all from the floor but in the apartment itself it’s very quiet.

I love living here! It’s in the perfect location and the staff are excellent. Even my neighbors are pretty great! Incredibly dog friendly building.

Super easy process applying and getting accepted. Friendly neighbors & super close to anything you could need. Love the fact that the walls are concrete so sleeping is peaceful considering apartment living!

You can't beat the location of Urbanite! I often walk to coffee shops, Brady Street, the beach, and along the lake. I love my lake facing apartment and so does my pup, the unit is updated, clean, and good quality. The staff is always very helpful and quick to meet any needs, Alex and John are always so fun to chat with. The Newland team is attentive to keeping the common areas clean and comfortable. Martin is so smart and helpful with all maintenance needs, he even helps to make sure packages are in the right spot.

Wonderful east side location with a professional, supportive team. Close to the lake and very walkable! Would definitely recommend.

The wow factor is here from the on-site staff to the city views, the location & walkability, & to the to bright/clean decorative common areas. You’ll want to make this home!

I have visited Urbanite a few times. The common areas especially the community room are beautiful. If you are looking for a great apartment in a very fun neighborhood in Milwaukee, I would highly recommend!

You're sold on a luxury building until you move in. The elevator is constantly broken, and management never seems to be around. It takes multiple emails to the new property manager to get a response or having to make a phone call to him. "State of the Art Climate Control" LOL this is because their original AC system was so bad. They installed wall AC units. Absolutely nothing State of the Art about them. Makes a "luxury" apartment look clunky weird. Floors are just vinyl on top of concrete. Bathrooms are simply new bathrooms but nothing worth the price they're charging. The only good things about the building are the soundproofing and the location.

Urbanite is in a great East Side location, where you can walk to anything you need. I love the modern finishes in my apartment, but I especially love my balcony. I use the 4th floor community room quite often, having the covered grills and additional outdoor space is another great perk.

I’ve lived at Urbanite since October 2019, and have truly enjoyed calling the community home. My two bedroom apartment has one of the most spacious living rooms I saw while looking for a new home in Milwaukee, that really sealed the deal for me. Since moving in, I’ve enjoyed the convenience of the secure package room, great gym, and the location. The finishes at the community and in my home are really beautiful. I love the exposed concrete ceiling and all the windows. I saw another reviewer mention that the community did used to have a lot of short term rentals, but there are very few left now, so there hasn’t been any issues. Drew and Aaron in the Leasing Office are so friendly and responsive, I really feel I can trust them!

I moved into my apartment at the Urbanite in July 2020, and I'm extremely happy that I chose to live here. Located in a great area of the East Side (in Milwaukee), the Urbanite building is new and very secure, and – in addition to all of the other security features of the building – features a secure package delivery/pick-up room that requires a key fob to gain access. The Urbanite staff and New Land Enterprises have worked very hard to maintain a safe AND healthy environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Urbanite offers many amenities, such as the beautiful community room and a great gym (masks required for both). Additionally, a masseuse runs her business out of the Urbanite, and the residents receive discounts for most of the services that she provides. The maintenance staff is excellent and efficient – most maintenance requests that are submitted during the week (Monday – Friday) are addressed within 24 hours. Maintenance not only addresses issues quickly, but they also fix any issues correctly the first time. Most importantly, the property managers/staff for the Urbanite (and New Land Enterprises) genuinely care about the residents – they treat the residents like people and not just as walking rent checks. The Urbanite property managers/staff are very kind and friendly, and they always make time to chat with residents who stop by the office. When I was looking for an apartment, the Urbanite staff took the time to work with me to find an apartment that I could envision living in without paying astronomically-high rent. Due to the great location of the Urbanite, the amenities, and the newness of the building/apartments, the rent is a little bit higher that what I’ve paid in the past. That said, New Land Enterprises often offers rent specials that significantly reduce monthly rent. The Urbanite staff go above and beyond when working with prospective residents to help them find their future home. The Urbanite is very pet friendly, and the staff keep a large bowl filled with dog treats in the main office.

Building itself, apartments and finishes are all quality. A lot of apartments have real nice views. But management seems like they haven't done a building of this level previously. One of the two elevators has been out for nearly half the time the building has been open and residents have yet to hear a word from management on it. Also, don't think it's so cool for them to have a decent number of the units on Airbnb - who doesn't love paying a premium building price to have strangers coming and going down the halls all the time! No clue if that's the new norm in Milwaukee, but I would have loved to know that before I moved in.
