University Walk | Student Housing

UWalks new management only cares about new residents and money! They are having unattended vendors entering the unit with out our knowledge and with keys to access my apartment and bedroom, and they even used my paper towels to clean a vacant bedroom. Uwalk did supply me with new paper towels to make up for it, but then dropped the bomb on me that it was because we were getting a new roommate in three days (ITS MAY 15!?). They weren't even planning on telling me someone was moving into my apartment until 48 hours before hand. Going home for the summer? You might come back to a new roommate!!!! They also kept telling me to sign or to lose my space and I committed with a $1400 rent rate for a 3 bedroom, and the rates dropped $1100 the following week! New management has been unprofessional, condescending, and selfish! Love the CAs though.

Some of the previous reviews have made me weary about uwalk but I absolutely love it! The parking is limited for guests, but other than that I have no complaints. Maintenance is super fast and staff is always helpful. The trains are never loud, if even heard. Highly recommended

For the price, you expect to be treated like a fellow human. Here they obviously don't care about their patrons at all. The finishes are nice but if you're looking for a place to call home there are better ones for better prices.

I lived in UWalk the first year it was open beginning in August of 2014. Overall, it was a fairly nice complex. You can tell that they finished the apartments quickly, because some flooring comes up, and the paint on the walls is a little spotty. But, the granite and appliances are awesome, and the office staff was helpful and nice. It's a college apartment, so noise is to be expected on weekend evenings. The parking, however, was atrocious. Sometimes I would have to park four blocks away. They have a parking service where a golf cart can come pick you up, in remedy.
