The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at University City Apartments
I am living in this apartment and it’s very stressful with lots of roaches every day. I put the roach killer everywhere, but no effect on killing those. Even though I requested the pest control, it has no effect at all as well.
I moved here last year (2019) in May. We had a great leasing agent named Edwin, he was very helpful. Unfortunately he does not work here anymore. There’s a whole new staff and they are not helpful at all! Within the first 4 days of living here, my car was towed twice. This is because they wouldn’t give me a parking sticker because my car was registered in my fathers name at the time. Also after 6pm there is no parking in the parking lot so you’re forced to park on the street which means anything can happen to your vehicle. Also it is not safe because at night time there are men out there cat calling you as you walk to your home. There are also like 20 cats that sit outside of my apartment building every night (stray cats!!) Another issue is that the main door to my building does not lock! Meaning anyone can just walk inside. I’ve seen homeless men sleeping at the bottom of the stairwell many nights and when I complain to leasing they say they’re “working on it” but they haven’t done anything!!! It’s been MONTHS! I cannot wait to leave this apartment. It also says in the lease that you cannot work on your car in the lot but I’ve seen many guys fixing cars right outside my building!! Also there is always trash out front of the building and in the hallways. People just leave beers on the steps which bring rodents! If you are looking for a cheap option, sure but otherwise you’re better off living somewhere SAFER with doors that actually LOCK and better parking options.

Thank you for your review, please feel to come to our office to speak to the property manager on site to further discuss about your experience living with us. We have changed all front door buildings and we have started to add the new doors trims. We have also been locking the front doors. It's an on going collaborative work between residents and the property to make sure our doors are always locked. I extend the invitation to speak to you. Thanks so much for being our resident.
