Union City inhabits an incredible riverfront piece of landscape in southern Michigan just off State Route 60. This picturesque town retains a turn-of-the-century appearance thanks to its long-standing homes and well-preserved downtown district and Victorian architecture. Union City is a sleepy town, but there are a few local watering holes along Broadway Street including bars and cafes. Union Lake is just west of town and is a popular spot for fishing in the warmer months of the year. Union City’s relative seclusion is punctuated by its unique character, but all it takes is a short drive along the state routes and back roads that surround the town to be in any of the surrounding cities and towns.
