Easy going place to live with nice amenities. Quiet for the most part. Allows pets and has a dog park for them. Close to most grocery stores, food and shopping.

We have really enjoyed it here. The facility is very nice and the rooms look just like the pictures. Maintenance was fast and effective when we had to call them. Everyone in the office was genuinely friendly. We got very lucky with this place.

Clean and pleasant community. Responsive staff. Slightly expensive than other communities but it's probably worth it. There is a nice pool and gym available.

I love my new home! This placed checked all my boxes, washer/dryer included, pool, gym (2 here), access gates, grills, and a beautiful apartment. My apartment has great lighting and is perfect, I picked the one on the top floor and it is so peaceful and I have a great courtyard view. Everyone has been great so far, thank you Lori and Heather for all of your help finding me the perfect home. I highly recommend The Columns at Timothy Woods.

Problems only get a bandaid the when the same issue occurs again they act like the problem is you. Water heater continues to make a loud knocking noise after several requests to fix it. Cockroaches line the hallways like they in a parade.
I am currently a resident at this complex and have been for several years now. It has gone drastically downhill during the first half of 2019, most notably after it was taken over by a new management company around March or April. The members of the office staff are nearly impossible to contact. I seldom have the need to speak with them but, on the occasions where I did, I called the office for several days without response, left messages that went unanswered, and stopped by in person multiple times during business hours only to find it locked and unoccupied. Once I was finally "lucky" enough to speak with them by phone, and during the several instances where I spoke with them in person, they were aloof, condescending, and just generally rude. These interactions were made even more absurd by the fact that I was contacting them at their request. Outside of the office staff, the property remains in a state of general disrepair. The front gate has been broken for months, trash litters the breezeways, air filters are changed once a year (sometimes), etc, etc... I will be leaving once my lease expires and would not recommend this location to anyone. It is overpriced, minimally maintained, and rudely managed.
I've lived at Timothy Woods Apartments for 4 years now and I have to say it's more then home to me. It's an amazing place with so many wonderful neighbors that are friendly and help each other out. The staff in the office are always there to help with any need you might have. They put in a 100% effort to listen and try to help any situation at hand. The maintenance always fix any problem that you might have and are on sight. Great benefit there. Also the pool and gym is so amazing. Gym 24/7 is helpful to me when i might be busy with other things but want a quick workout. Last but no least the free WiFi for us is a great convenience when we have to work and don't have WiFi ourselves. In a way to summon it. Timothy Woods Apartments in Athens Georgia is a warm beautiful environment where I feel safe. I would encourage anyone that might be looking for a place in this area on Timothy Rd. in Athens to seriously consider this place. From experience I'm glad I did!!!
