The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Turtle Creek Apartments at Toftrees
Today we are moving out of our apartment after spending two years here and I would be remiss to go without writing a review to tell you just how wonderful of an experience we have had here. First, the people who work for Turtle Creek Apartments are extremely professional, prompt to respond, and incredibly friendly. They seem to really like their jobs, and they are really good at them. Jenna was my main contact and she is absolutely fantastic. We have only needed maintenance a few times, but when we did, they were there that same day! How awesome is that? The men on the maintenance team are all nice and they really know what they are doing. The property and landscape is so well taken care of. They plant beautiful flowers with red mulch. It feels so lovely to call such a beautiful place “Home”. Finally, the best part of all is the apartment itself. I have NEVER heard a neighbor talk, watch tv, play music, etc. The cinderblocks between apartments mean excellent soundproofing. Our two-bedroom apartment felt spacious to me, my husband, and our three pets. The price of a two bedroom apartment was surprisingly affordable, and all ultilities were included!!! I can’t stress enough how much I loved not having to worry about the electricity bill, water bill, trash bill... etc. The only utility we paid for is WiFi (which is good, because then you have choices for packages that fit your needs). Our neighbors were mostly graduate students, professionals, and elderly people. I loved how calm and serene it was there, tucked away in the woods. State College can get a little wild at times which is fun, but our apartment was a perfect retreat away from the craziness. Turtle Creek Apartments is by far the best apartment I have ever lived in, and I highly, highly recommend it.
