Pros: Location is great if you work in CLT or Rock Hill, crime is low except for car break ins, maintenance crew is super responsive, and the apartments are new/clean. Cons: Low-mid quality construction*, terrible (yet mandatory) trash valet, and no real action taken by landlord when needed. *The apartment buildings have little to no sound proofing, worse than university dorms; even the exterior stairwells amplify EVERY footstep like a subwoofer. But because 99% of residents here have main character syndrome with zero situational awareness, only 1% of us attempts to be quieter due to this. From the constant stomping/thumping/banging from neighbors to leaf blower marathons to marital bickering in the parking lot to the 50 dudes who rev their truck engines and peel out of the complex on the daily, there is NO peace.

However, we are truly sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with noise and construction quality. We understand how important a peaceful living environment is and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, noise can be a part of apartment living, and we encourage all residents to be mindful of their neighbors. Regarding the trash valet service, we apologize if it has not met your expectations. We will personally reach out to the vendor. If youre new to the area, dont do it! If you want a timely response, dont expect to get it from the leasing office. Extremely high turnover of staff who are not responsive unless you stay on top of them. Need to go into the leasing office to drop off a cashier's check or get an update, dont expect anyone to be there to give you a response/proper notice. You will receive an email DAILY TO BE REMINDED that Tryon Farms is a smoke free policy and if policy is violated your lease could be terminated, with no further actions actually done! If you want to experience the pool at the top of pool season, dont expect for it to be opened until June or later. What i actually loved about my unit is all of the natural light and my balcony. No consistent programming or reoccuring community events to create a good living environment. The best "event" that happened was food truck- "drums vs flats" on a Friday night! That was the most active i saw the residents out and about. Nacho Business was the next food truck partnership, but never happened after it was supposed to be rescheduled. In short, DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being our first apartment in Charlotte, Tryon Farms is a very clean, affordable and nicely updated community. The pet amenities along with the numerous pet waste stations around the community and a dog park is a major plus for the fur babies. Lastly the valet trash service thats available is very convenient after a long day. We enjoy the quiet tranquility of the community!
This is a great community and a great place to live I like it so far.

Since Bell Partners management took over, crime has significantly reduced (car break-ins, gun/drug crimes) at Tryon Farms. Thank you x1000, it finally feels like a safe place to live. Management is responsive and helpful.

The apartments are beautiful and in a desirable area, close to shops and highway accessible. It’s a shame that bad residents have ruined the community. Would honestly love to see Tryon Farms cleaned up.

Tryon Farms is a great community to live in. Great staff, the apartment homes are beautiful and modern, and the amenities are great. Tryon farms made my relocation here easy, stress free and for all that comes with it, you’ll probably won’t find at the same price as Tryon farms.
After 3 months of living here, I can say this is the best place I have ever lived. Staff is extremely friendly and responsive to any questions I have had. Grounds are clean, plentiful parking, excellent living space for the price. 10/10
This apartment was nice in the beginning but now people are having illegal parties in the clubhouse so now the clubhouse has dirt all over the floors and alcohol in the trash cans. The police is called here often now due to a lot of commotion. If management don’t crack down on getting rid of the trouble makers, this once beautiful place is going to go down hill tremendously.
I wouldn’t recommend tryon farms to anyone! Police are called here very often, drug dealing happening on premises. Cars getting broken into about a month ago 15 cars got broken into. The whole neighborhood smells like weed at night. Poor management they never answer the phones and when I clearly pass by they are in the office sitting down. Dog poop all over the grass people don’t seem to pick it up. Neighbors partying all night. I don’t want to say names but management is very poor. Also trash is always backed up no one seems to care about that. Also one of my neighbors moved out and they let her out of her lease with no penalty but when I complained about the same issues because I have a 3 year old I was told I might as well suck it up and stay. My apartment at night when I walk in it smells like weed I can smell it thru the vents in my apartment and I don’t want my child smelling that he already has issues with his allergies. Just on a serious note I would not recommend this place to anyone!! It looks nice thru the outside because they are brand new but it’s not what it always seems this place is horrible!!!!!
I dont love it here. There is a lot of suspicious activity and not much help from the front office when concerns are expressed.
I moved into Tryon Farms in June. When I came to tour the NEW complex Carrin was AMAZING at giving me a tour and giving me very specific numbers and details before moving in. On my move in day the staff was very helpful with making this as seamless as possible and seamless it was. Very clean and quiet community, looks like the photos. Out of all the tours i had before moving to Charlotte Tryon was the most affordable for the amount of living space I received. I HIGHLY recommend touring and living here. It is 10 mins from Premium Outlets, 24 mins from Uptown Charlotte and about 4-6mins from tons of shops and eateries.

I have one star because the apartments themselves are beautiful. However as a current resident I must say the office staff is rude. There have been numerous times I have come into the leasing office without someone even greeting me. Office staff personality is very dry. I also do not appreciate the all community emails they send out. They are very unprofessional and is like a mother speaking to a child with threats of “we will not hesitate to close the pool” and “do not be the one that makes the entire community suffer.” Yes, I agree in rules and regulations but whoever approves the emails that are sent to all residents needs a little more respect. We call this place home and would like to be treated as it is such not like we are children at a daycare waiting to be scalded for a couple bad residents. There are cameras by the pool area and gym area so if there is an issue speak directly with those residents rather than sending out an unprofessional email. For this to be a new complex as well none of the stairs have been stained and from the recent rain mildew has already started accumulating on the wood.
Horrible experience! Two appliances failed immediately after move in including fridge. Lost $200 in food and they won't reimburse us. Apathetic and unprofessional. They couldn't care less. Dont rent here.

I highly recommend anyone to come check this apartment complex out. They currently don’t have any pictures right now as it is still very brand new. But, LET ME TELL YOU, it is worth the drive to meet up with the leasing Manager, Carrin. She was so welcoming, so funny and so nice. She answered all of our questions and just made our tour so fun, easy and smooth. Their updated appliances and amenities are top notch! They will not disappoint! Their property manager, Alexandria is quick to respond to any questions/clarifications you may have - she is just as welcoming and so easy to talk to. Plus side to brand new apartments is HUGE SPECIALS!!! So I’d suggest you to come right now while it still last!!! You can’t beat their prices right now for the area that it’s at! It’s just down the street from Rivergate shopping centers! I’m so excited to move into my brand new apartment soon!
