North San Antonio begins along I-410 and extends northward to roughly Ammann Road. The area becomes steadily more rural as you head north, with large ranches and farms dotting the country roads. Closer to the highway, you’ll find beautifully landscaped neighborhoods and terrific shopping areas mixing to deliver a much more suburban feel. The upscale North Star Mall is located here, offering stores like Dillard’s and Saks Fifth Avenue.
A variety of neighborhoods are contained within North San Antonio. The ones on the south end include Castle Hills, Oak Valley, Greater Harmony Hills, Hollywood Park, Hill Country Village, Lockhill Estates, and Whispering Oaks. Travel north past Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Camp Bullis to find spacious and elegant communities like Timberwood Park, Bulverde, and Fair Oaks Ranch.

We have been living in Trunorth at Bulverde for almost two years. Our three bedroom apartment is very comfortable and beautiful. Any time we have a maintenance issue, Norm or Lupe take care of them in a quick and professional manner.

I have been living here at TruNorth for about 3 weeks now. I absolutely love this community. The outside areas are clean and well maintained, the community itself is very quiet and the people are very friendly here. The pool is beautiful and well maintained, I’m excited to lay out this summer and enjoy the sun. I recommend this community to anyone that is looking for something nice, luxurious and in a central location. 5 stars!!!

These apartments are in a excellent location. You are in close driving distance to so much without being in a very busy area. The up keep is excellent and any issues are resolve in a timely manner.

I have lived here for over a year now and am very comfortable. The new manager is very helpful and takes immediate action on residents concerns and worries. Also, the maintenance team is great and comes the next day to fix things. The apartments are kept clean and the pool is beautiful, like a resort. The nights are very quiet and easy to spend. There is a car wash and pet wash area which is very convenient.

A great modern Apartment facility. Unique layouts we have not seen anywhere in San Antonio. Location is absolutely excellent. Next to 1604, yet kind of tucked away. Administrations staff service has really improved a lot this 2nd half of the year. Super friendly and efficient. We're happy with them. No big drama or problems with fellow residents. Every now and then you'll smell some one is smoking Pot, but it hasn't been a constant. Also, you'd like to think picking up after your pup comes with being a "Dog Lover". Yet, some owners just need to be educated. How about a "Train the Dog Owner" Happy hour?? Just sayin' But overall, an absolutely great place to live in. We're not going anywhere any time soon. M&M

Great overall experience! Marisa at the front desk was super helpful in assisting my wife and I find the right size place for us. We viewed an apartment within minutes of arriving at Tru North, loved the apartment, and signed the same day!

We love living here so far. Thank you TruNorth. Matthew and Marisa from front office are always friendly, helpful, professional. We love the amenities and the community. From the time we came in for a tour, to moving in, and now living here- it has been positive and smooth every step of the way. I like the ease of the resident portal. My boys love the clubhouse and the pool. I use the gym often. Thanks!!

Love maintenance, property cleanliness, bright lights at night, updated cabinets and nice bathrooms in the apt. Dislike apartment layout, yard maintenance, lack of family / kid friendly amenities and events, lack of sidewalks on perimeter of property.

TruNorth is truly a beautiful place. The apartment floorplans and layouts are among the very best in the city. It's a pleasure to live here. What could be improved? Rules enforcements: Pet droppings all over the place; no control over who comes into the Pool area (non-residents) and gates and doors not functioning 100% constantly. We have been willing to overlook those items just because we love living here so much.

Absolutely terrible management. Gates have been broken for 4 months and show no signs of being fixed. There have been shootings, thefts and break in since this has happened. Management will just ignore your emails but will be more than happy to hit on your girlfriend multiple times.

Love the location of property and how well lit the property is at night. Feels very safe. Dislike the lack of sidewalks on the perimeter of apartment and amount of pet waste by irresponsible tenants. Great amenities that are always very clean. Poor 2 bedroom design. Overall enjoying living here temporarily

I really enjoy living at TruNorth. The amenities offered are excellent and my pup enjoys the dog park very much. I haven’t had any problems since I’ve moved in. I highly recommend TruNorth.

Poor Management. I moved out this August and still haven't received my security deposit that they are supposed to return. Called over 10+ times only to hear refund will be issued in a month and it has been over 3+ months. Still didn't receive my deposit.

I've never written an apartment review before but felt compelled to do so. This apartment is newer (only two years old I believe), and the grounds/units themselves are really nice! The complex even proactively replaced the carpets for me before move in, which was such a nice surprise. Due to being high risk for Covid, I needed extra help touring prospective units safely and answering random questions about unit ventilation. Derrick was the most professional, caring, honest, and patient apartment manager with whom I've ever dealt. He made the stressful apartment-hunting-during-Covid process a breeze. So far really enjoying my time living at TruNorth!

Came home from work and my apartment was warm. Realizing it was after hours, I called the non-emergency line and someone answered!!! They were in my apartment in less than 5 minutes!! The unit was quickly repaired we were cooling off and happy in less than 30 minutes. Outstanding service! 100% impressed!

The transfer process was extremely stressful and not expected during a difficult time for us, however the leasing team made sure to comfort us in all of the miss communication. We have been residents since ground broke. Thank you Lindsay & Joseph for being understanding and reassuring when we were thrown off by new management and procedures of your not so typical transfer process. We are happy with our privacy, location and no yard. We look forward to another year with you two!
Every time I submit a maintenance request no matter what it is the maintenance crew is on it. They do a wonderful job at following up with you on parts that may need to be ordered as well. No complaints on the maintenance staff they are excellent.
Awful management. Excessive fees. That’s all you need to know.
This staff and maintenance are always friendly, kind, and supportive.
Love living here. Maintenance is on sight and even after hours I can have issues, mostly fuses that won't reset repaired quickly. Also, the amenities, pool and outdoor patio, are second to none.
The apartments are truly beautiful, brand new, clean, wonderful front office staff, and friendly maintenance team. I myself have lived here since October 2019, zero issues. My husband & I feel very safe in this area.
