I’ve lived here for 3 years it has been a great experience. Lots of fall activities and holiday fun.
I’ve lived at the Tribute for six years and love it. Everything you need is in walking distance and there are sidewalks to walk everywhere in the Rim area. The landscaping is nice too. Very calming atmosphere. The maintenance personnel as well as office personnel are awesome.

The parking rules are ridiculous, be afraid of being towed even if you live there! Friends and family will be towed for over $200 if you don't read the tiny sign that says you have to get a code from the person that lives there that's given to them on a piece of paper when they sign the lease. Also the fire alarms are always going off and the inside looks like an active construction site with elevators that often break down.

this is incredibly bad place to live for that amount of rent... I have killed 5 mice in my home and they told me this is not the first instance due to restaurants... after that I have realized mouse hair on top of my plastic boxes but they claim there is no more mouse activity because there is no dirt they can found. management has been changed very frequently and extremely fluid. gym is impossible to use during summer time because of no ac and it is unbearable when you do cardio. no pools, dirty hallways, no gates in the park, no security cameras, noisy environment... not worth to a single penny... my packages have been stolen from my door couple of times and I have seen weird people jumping from the doors in evening hours as well. but no security camera if something happens to you and they still charge you hell out of money

This place is an embarrassment. If you want to see what I am talking about come on by because most side doors are broken. You can get a glimpse of what it has to offer if you look right above the North Italia sign (plywood and missing pieces). For example, cars are constantly broken in to in the garage, dog poop all over the courtyard, walls/ceilings falling apart, loud cars revving their engines every night, and the homeless are even wondering the complex. They have been saying they are repairing things but it’s been 2 years and nothing has improved. If you care about your loved ones I would hate for you to move in.

This place is a nightmare! Constant false fire alarms, no security( many cars have been broken in to), broken gates, elevators constantly down or turned off, outside area always dirty, and for all this it cost a quite a bit to live here. I would think long and hard before you move here

I’ve been a resident for 3 years. Ownership, management and resident portal/app have changed maybe 3 times in the last couple of years. The present (as of August 2022) staff is the worst - they never pick up phone calls, respond to emails or attend to maintenance requests. One must physically go to the office and talk to the staff who then makes the same cookie cutter excuses - we’re short staffed, we’re giving tours, we were out on lunch, etc - they take your grievance and requests, but still they do not action them. That office could very well be closed 24/7. Rent here at your own risk.

Save your money. Elevators hardly ever work, alarms blaring constantly, the staff is unresponsive and rude, neighbors have no regard and let their animals defecate the property, dead roaches in the hall, there was a shooting involving an employee that they had on their team!!! My car has been towed from the garage with proper identification, my apartment along with many neighboring apartments flooded. The limited access gates are always broken and left open. Maintenance got sick of repairing so now it’s just a free for all. They’ll paint a real pretty picture but once you get in you’ll never hear from them again. BEWARE *They will post a comment about how they try their hardest but in all actuality they don’t. These apartments are not luxury
I have lived here for 9 months and have had to leave my apartment 4 times between the hours of 11pm to 3am due to blaring FALSE fire alarms ?? what’s worse is that management will not be bothered to post updates on whether the issues are fixed or not! I am grateful I do not have young children or pets like others here, I can only imagine what a nightmare they must be going through:(
Please be aware: this community is not good. Property is dirty, packages might get stolen, car might get towed, common areas are not maintained, elevators don’t work, poor management.
Maintenance supervisor is courteous and professional. Maintenance requests are expeditiously and competently handled in reasonable and sometimes very short time period depending on priority.
We've lived here 3 months and especially having had a weird, unexpected issue crop up, I can say that Tribute is a beautiful, well maintained property, and the management and maintenance staff is truly spectacular. The units are spacious and well appointed, parking is secure and plentiful and we've found the community friendly and respectful. Great location with any and everything you could ever need. I can't say enough about the great people who make this place run on a daily basis though, because as an empty nester who's lived in 9 different states, I don't think I've ever lived in an apartment community that has had such a responsive, professional and customer service oriented group of people just an email or phone call away!
List is long: -Worst management Ever -horrible maintenance service -super dangerous (drug deals, shootings) -poor quality overall

I travel to San Antonio frequently for work and decided to get an apartment to make my trips easier. Allison and the team at Tribute At The Rim was so easy to work with. She met me to tour apartments my last night in San Antonio before heading to the airport to travel home for the holidays. She was very accommodating and helped work through all of my questions while I was out of town. She even went back and took pictures and a video of the apartment and sent them to me. The move in process has been really smooth as well. I did all of my paper work remotely. I also purchased my furniture here in Dallas and had it delivered to San Antonio. Over the holidays and with my written permission, Allison met the delivery drivers and helped ensure my new furniture was delivered and set up for when I returned to officially move in in January.

I moved in to my fourth floor 2 bedroom apartment which faces the pool in late May. After reading the other reviews, I wanted to say that there are happy people here too. Every apartment has its issues but the few I have had have been addressed and taken care of in a quick fashion. I don't really hear anybody unless I open the door to my balcony and sometimes can hear music at the pool. There's only been one time when the music was too loud and I went down there and told him to turn it down. As far as the maintenance staff go they are excellent. They are always here within a hour of requesting. They keep the pool immaculate. They are very sweet hard working guys.
I have lived here since April 2018. Ive met many interesting and super nice people here at the Tribute. I couldnt ask for a better location... If you enjoy walking this is the place.. I just had a maintenance service completed .. The maintenance person was at my door no longer than 30 minutes after I applied online for my problem. He was fantastic.. very professional and took care of my problem immediately!!! We have fun activities here arranged by our great management office.. All office people are very friendly and helpful ... Thank you !!! BTW.. if there are messes in the hallways, courtyards, etc... it is quickly cleaned up .. management is constantly working to minimize the messes lazy tenants seem to leave around the area.. ive had no problems that were not fixable by maintenance request or discussion with the office ..

The apartments here are nice enough but unfortunately the building is so loud!! every Friday and Saturday night from 8-12am it’s like you’re living at a rock concert. Music plays so so loud from Stonewerks. You have to leave your apartment for the evening it’s so unbearable. The gates entering the building slam every time someone enters or exits - slams as in shakes the whole building. The location seems great at first glance but living here is anything but. If it’s not rock concerts every weekend at Stonewerks it’s dogs yapping all through the halls and gates slamming every 15 mins.
Live at your own risk...seriously, it's all smoke and mirrors. For being a brand new complex this place is already a dump. Floors are bubbled, tubs/showers have already separated from the wall, dishwashers are a joke as is the garbage disposal, the walls are paper thin...... For the first 4 months I lived there without a working smoke detector unbeknownst to me. No one picks up after their pet, the smell of urine is very strong in all the green spaces and it's not uncommon to walk across a puddle in the mail room or in the breeze ways. There's trash left in the hallways, overcrowded pool, theft from balconies to the fitness rooms, damage to cars in the parking garage and no one to take responsibility for it. I've personally called SAPD over a half dozen times in one month to report domestic assaults. Leasing agents are friendly as is the maintenance crew but for me it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience. If you like dorm style living this is the place for you, if not there are far better options in the area.
