      Don't do it.

      Terrible experience here. Multiple complaints that I can think of. Also, there was so much bad I couldn't think of everything in an entire review, but here's what I could think of: When we first moved in during the summer, the AC wasn't working, and it didn't work for about a week. The apartment was about a solid 95 degrees during the day, and 80 degrees during the night. Additionally, the apartment was nowhere near ready for move in, some light bulbs were out, many electrical outlets didn't work, and no coax outlet for cable connections for internet, I had to get it installed from my internet provider (which costed extra). Moreover, during December, the heating didn't work for 3 WEEKS! Had to sleep with heated blankets when the apartment would drop to temperatures of about 40-50 degrees. They're incredibly slow at work orders. Some work orders were looked at after a month of it being on file. One time they literally listed a maintenance request as "complete" hours after putting in a maintenance request. Something also important to note is that you will have ROACHES as roommates. No amount of Raid spray and roach traps will remove them. I put in a maintenance request for the pest control, which will cost you extra, and the roach problem got worse. WORSE! The roach problem was so bad they essentially infested and broke the microwave and Roomba that I had. Which both of them were not cheap products, but they were wasted and destroyed because of the Roach problem. Furthermore, one day they had shut off the water in my building without notice for maintenance. So they sent out an email to notify the tenants DURING the maintenance already happening. So expect random maintenances that will interrupt your day or plans. Also, it's not safe compared to other areas nearby like Kennesaw. A couple shootings nearby, and one apartment building was SHOT AT, and bullets had actually struck the building. Less than a mile from a jail also makes it not feel like a safe area. This section may not be entirely Trellis's fault, but I feel it's important to mention if you are considering Trellis. Please, whatever you do, I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm not one to usually care about some of these things because I'm extremely accepting. But this amount of problems is simply unacceptable.

      Trellis staff is very responsive. It is kinda unrealistic to think an office staff of 3 to be ever present day and night… they work within a standard time. After every concern I have had I have spoken with an office representative. That means a lot and it shows me that I matter.

      Roaches everywhere! The leasing office lied about there not being an issue with pest. I have also been waiting for 5 weeks to get the ac working and fixed. I have a 4 year old struggling to fall asleep in 89 degree rooms.

      I personally like the fact that there is no gate to worry about getting stuck going in or out, or for visitors. Grounds are well kept, family friendly as well.

      Ever since I moved in, I’ve had nothing but issues. The leasing office is difficult to contact at best and the staff is extremely combative. Whatever you do, your money is best spent living elsewhere.

      DO NOT STAY HERE

      I would strong encourage anyone considering this complex to only live here as a last resort! My tenancy has been problematic from the moment I signed my lease where I arrived to find a filthy roach infested apartment. Maintenance work orders are consistently completed late violating the lease agreement. The leasing office does not bother to read the language of your individual lease and corporate does not respond to phone calls or email attempts. The behavior of the organization is unacceptable and I personally believe that no one should stay here.

      Do not move here!

      Greystar is the worst management company! Do not move here unless you want to live with roaches because they are everywhere! These apartments are so old and there are cracks everywhere for roaches to get in regardless of what you do to stop them. Maintenance requests take forever to solve and the leasing office staff is rude and unprofessional even down to the “manager”. She’s actually the worse of them all and that energy trickles down to her employees. So roaches, bad management, poor customer service are just the beginning of my complaints. Don’t be fooled by the model apartment or the fresh exterior paint. These apartments are trash.

      Everything

      Want a place that makes you reconsider having basic living standards? Then look no further than Trellis Apartments! From huge roaches, poorly maintained buildings, zero communication availability with staff, and problems that are unfathomable. Looking for a 1-3 person space? Any of the spaces are actually 20+! Unfortunately those added spots are to consider the roaches you are living with, and no they do not split rent. Nor does the office care. With multiple reports from many tenants the office has its priorities set on more important things like repainting the buildings, and firing their utilities staff. You heard me right, there is only 1 utilities worker as I type this. All I have to say about the buildings: problems anywhere. If you can think of it you'll probably have to deal with it here. water damage, mold, smoke in the walls, sealing problems, poorly constructed doors, rooms, outlets, leaking ceilings, appliances going out, the list goes on and on and on and on. Want to ask the staff for help with any of this? Sorry you are not important and should just deal with it. Road construction in the way from you getting to your job to PAY FOR YOUR APARTMENT? No communication, good luck finding out how to get out. Living conditions not to any standard? Find a therapist, cause the office is not a place that will listen.

      RUN!!!!

      The neighborhood is just sad. The management doesn’t keep up with the neighborhood or it’s residents. The maintenance men are creepy. Spiders take over!!! The neighborhood teens are a menace!!! They don’t really fix the issues you have, they just place bandaids on the problems. The pool was disgusting every time, except for when you constantly have to get on them about it. Just run love. RUN. You can and will definitely find better.

      Dog attacks, lots of trash, lack of maintenance

      If this complex is supposed to be an example of living in Marrietta you're better off somewhere else. I'm going into my 2nd year here and it has been a downhill ride. Children run all over the grounds at all hours of the night. The ground is constantly littered with trash, debris, and even toys/bikes. Parents consistanly let their kids run throughout the halls of the complex while screaming and playing on the steps. The playground is destroyed with no signs of it being repaired so they have nowhere to play. I can even attest to multiple fights on the grounds where the adults were cheering on the ignorance. I have a child myself and the way these kids are allowed to act is beyond ignorant. Once moving here be ready to step outside your home regularly to ask for peace from your neighbors. Noise can last from about 12 noon to midnight on most days regardless of school. To make matteres worse there is no enforcement on simple pet laws. My animal is always under the control of a leash harness combo and i wish i could say the same for the other dogs here. I have had multiple pets on the ground approach me and my pet during daily walks to the point where i have to have protection on me at all times when not inside. I have even drawn my weapon as to ward off a loose animal. Often the animal is called off or runs off to a random build by the owner. I understand a pet gets away for a second but people literally let their dogs run freely to use the bathroom which leads to that animal wondering off. I no longer feel that my pet or child are safe here without me being ready to fight off another resident's pet. This issue like the first has been brought to management's attention multiple times and not even a news letter or email to the residents has been drafted. They simple say without an exact apartment number nothing can be done. They don't even try to make you feel better about the hugh gap in safety.

      Invasion of Privacy

      Management and Maintenance come into your apartment when you are not at home with no probable cause , snoop around in your personal belongings. Roaches and bad kids in the neighborhood sit on your car and want even get out of the street when cars are coming. Over priced rent and no gates.

      New Management

      I am thankful to call Trellis my home. We have had a few changes of the years, but I see the changes that's taking place now are all good. Everyone is friendly and I must say very helpful. Thank you for all you do.

      DON'T MOVE HERE

      Don't move here. The place is infested with roaches. They closed the pools down a month early. I've been treated like garbage by the property managment. Isa is trying to bill me for a 200.00 admin fee I already paid. I have proof of payment. None of my invioces or lease says I owe it and I have a ledger that has me good to the credit of it. So my attorney will be sending out a letter. I moved in; in June with the highest of hopes; have been completely disappointed. I always pay my rent early and in full, thank God I am an upstanding tenent for the next place! I will not be renewing my lease.

      management

      The apartments are decent and cozy. The fireplace adds the coziness to it,and each room has a bathroom which is very convenient. There are two swimming pools that are really nice. However, the managememt needs a lot of work and comminicatiom between the office is problematic. In other words, there is no over type of communication.

      Run

      This place sold me a dream! I moved here from Philadelphia with hopes of getting away from crime and a better quality of life. I had minor repairs in the beginning but after a couple months a had miold growing in my apartment that was not rectified for months of my children and I breathing it in. It took 3 major complaints for them to be concerned and get to the bottom of it. Tenants around me treat this place like the project constantly out on the premises smoking and drinking. My apartment reeks of marijuana and I don't smoke but I have to live with it or report it to the cops! Last night they were shooting in front of the complex when the kids were outside! Not a safe environment especially if you are a single mom with kids. My babysitter refuses to come back and now I'm forced to find some where else to live!

      Baybridge at the Pointes (fka Pointes of Marietta)

      Don't let recent lipstick treatment (exterior painting/new laundry machines) fool you, it is the same dangerous complex. Police presence is several times a week. There have been multiple shootings with one fatality in last two years. Management ios slow to respond to maintenance requests. A great place if you want free pets, roach infestation is rampant.
