My apartment is beautiful. I wouldn't have thought I'd care for a studio, but I'm in love with mine. Management is great and Doug at the front desk is wonderful. Only been here 2 weeks and have been so happy
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If you enjoy your peace and quiet, cleanliness, and just all around want the space you are paying for to be at least halfway decent please save a few extra bucks and move elsewhere it is not worth it!! For starters they will fool you, that building is definitely not up to code, the fire alarm goes off frequently, the water pressure sucks/the smell, the roaches, the laundry room is filthy & filled with roaches! The elevator does not work that often imagine walking down more than 8 flights of stairs when you have to go to work or coming home from work. Not to mention there is a nightclub every weekend on the top floor they do not tell you that upon move in, they do not control they guest they will be as loud as they want, litter in front of your unit, throw up on the carpet, knock on your door it is HORRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone Leasing office people are in on it as well so just save yourself the headache. Let’s not forget that construction people will walk in your apartment at any time and they will say “contact your leasing office they supposed to keep you updated not us.” If you are young & like to party buy all means move here but for those mature peaceful adults with real responsibilities or kids do not move in
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Constant water issues. No pressure. Sediment in water. Just turned off altogether. I've been here for 3.5 years - way too long. It's noisy. Everything is noisy. The walls are paper thin. If you can't hear someone's TV or music, you hear construction. Don't work from home here. Oh yeah, and plenty of roaches. We're repetitively assured contractors will follow Covid guidelines. They don't. DO NOT move here if you work from home or enjoy restful sleep.

Town Residences could be great but it falls short on every measure. I have had 2 floods in the past 6 months due to pipes that clearly needed to be fixed 10 years ago. Their management has put work orders in to fix the issue but left the tenants with three huge holes in their walls (and have not communicated when they're going to get fixed). To add to that, the repairmen take no consideration that they're walking into a home. They have trapesed through my apartment with muddy feet leaving me with the mess. As well as removed shelving without my knowledge and did not care to put it back. Not to mention the several dead roaches I have found in this place. Also, in lieu of COVID, apparently it does not exist at Town Residences because no one - not even management - enforces a mandatory face mask policy (WTF?!?!). So unless you like your apartment to be flooded, filled with roaches, and also contract COVID I would look elsewhere. Can't wait to move. TO TOP IT ALL OFF THREE DAYS AFTER THIS REVIEW: my garbage disposal exploded....EXPLODED. Called the emergency line with a half inch of standing, disgusting water in my cabinet - only for them to tell me I would have to wait until tomorrow for it to get fixed. I hate it here, I hate everything about this place. Do not move here, do not give them your money - you'd have better service living in a cardboard box.

Absolutely terrible place to live. Spare yourself and look elsewhere. There are serious plumbing and electrical problems in the complex. The elevators go out every other week, and for days on end. The light bulbs need replacing every 3 weeks. The water pressure goes in and out, and there are constant issues with the hot water tank. As of recently, residents have been without water for 5 days and all we got as a response, was an email (every other day) to "bare with them". Also, it took the complex 24 hours to send residences a notice about the water being off. Not to forget to mention, there has been serious flooding within several units. The fire alarms go off at all hours of the night. Lastly, there is construction going on in the parking garage behind the unit (has been going on all year long) and the jack hammer will wake you up at 6am sharp. The management team is incredibly incompetent. They lack basic human being compassion and take no responsibly when things go wrong (which is almost daily).

Perfect location. Transit center, People Mover rail, MGM Casino, All in minutes walking distance. Had many fun nights walking to Campus Martius park. Winter or Summer I love walking to different events there. They're renovating the building. But I've been pretty happy here. Old management didn't take great care of the building, and we had plumbing issues but the new management is working constantly to improve things. Very good place to live especially being so close to the riverwalk and freeways.
