The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Torrey Pines Apartment Homes
It’s either 5 stars if I’m happy or 1 star if I’m not. I’ve been satisfied with Torrey throughout my stay, a few years now until recently with the added changes. There has to be other alternatives with respect to parking and keeping it under control rather than just starting to bill everyone $40-$75 monthly parking to park onsite. Really? Some residents are still working from home forced by the pandemic so maybe that’s why cars hardly move during the week, but let’s “punish those residents and tackle parking bills now? “ (sarcasms by the way) Let’s level the playing field with this too… some ideas to help out… “Hey let’s start billing those residents ‘extra cleaning charges’ that have pets too for all the added surprises they leave everywhere for us residents to step on,” let’s start “billing those residents who are constantly smoking and using marijuana, smells horrible.” — Its not just that, when I’ve needed Torrey Pines to fix something or replace a certain thing they would do it, but I’m sorry not now I guess! Just needed some light bulbs replaced since lights have really faded and not as bright but all of a sudden I have to purchase all that now too ! Wow.. really? - Unsatisfied resident??????????

I am a current resident here and Feel it’s my duty to let future residents know about torry pines. First off the priorities are completely off. If you want to live in a place that governs the parking instead of the well-being and safety then this is the place for you. We have so called patrol by (knowles) and it’s almost a joke how the job is done around here. The one and only priority is parking. Not the safety of the residents. This company is only employed by the property in which we pay. For some reason they believe they are allowed to pass out flyers door to door making aware residents that they are gonna start towing. Nothing in the memo stating they will be pushing for safety of residents. Asking patrol to walk thru property. The only time they will come out of vehicle is to cite vehicles that they determine are not showing permit properly. Where’s the management in all this? I believe they are bigger issues then parking so for future residents just think and consider what is being mentioned
Hello everyone, if you’re looking to live in a place that only cares about parking and not the safety of its residents Torrey pines is the place to be. The security (knowles) which is employed by the property feels it can pass out flyers saying there number one priority is parking is unbelievable to me. With warnings of being towed away and citations come as a surprise and shock to me. They have no right to address this complex. Management come on if this is something you want please notify residents yourself. Further more security is a joke here. As I mentioned the only priority is parking. We do have homeless that somehow get into complex but issues of that never seem to be addressed. Spend more time walking thru the complex and less time worryiyabout parking
I have lived here for a little over a year. Management is very helpful, attentive, and caring. They are super responsive for any needs and service requests are attended to right away. The apartments are very spacious. There is no central air but there is an air conditioner in th living room which does cool the living room and kitchen area. We purchased an air conditioner for our rooms and it helps a lot. The apartment is equipped with a washer and dryer which works great. The area is very safe. We have never had any issues. Lots of parking. If you have a 2 BR, you get two spaces. The only issue is that there are sometimes homeless who enter (somehow, since it’s gated) and dig through trash. Management has gotten security to drive around to try and solve this issue. I have not seen as many.
This apartment complex is infested with roaches. Beware! The management will also randomly make demands. Most recently demanding all apartments sign a parking agreement or vehicles will be towed. Not legal at all. Not only do roaches come up in your bath tub drain you can see them outside on the sidewalk and there is a huge termite infestation noticed by all the small droppings on the railing of the decks. I have lived at this place more that 2 years, they rose the rent from 1250 to 1645 in a matter of these few years and have had a total of 3 property management companies in the past 2 years. There is a gate that they keep open all the time so it's not as secure as they make it sound. Also, they will harass you if you put plants on your rail of the deck. I'm sure if you are just staying here temporarily it is an ok place as I use to like it when it was in my budget and priced right. Now they claim it is a luxury complex. Don't be fooled by the one 5 star rating because it is them. Go to yelp and you will see real reviews by past5 tenants.
Apartments are clean, are is quiet and love the location. Near shopping centers and schools, hospitals. Thanks apartments.com. you made my search easy. Love the photos
