The Pearl was once a brewery, in operation from 1883 to 2001. I've been living in this apartment for several months now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The unit was spotless when I moved in, and everything—from the appliances to the finishes—feels modern and well-maintained. The building is quiet, secure, and conveniently located near the Pearl and the Creamery. Management has been incredibly responsive and friendly—any time I’ve had a question or request, it was handled quickly and professionally. The neighbors are respectful, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. One of my favorite features is the natural light that fills the apartment throughout the day, plus the balcony is a perfect spot for morning coffee. I’m really glad I chose this place—it feels like home. Highly recommend!

I enjoy living here. The staff take good care of the property. My unit faces the courtyard so I don’t hear any traffic noise. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly.

Love living here. The residents are very nice and helpful. The apartments always smell good and they always have cool activities for residents to do. When I need something fixed in my apartment it gets done pretty quickly.

Location is great, apartment rooms are very nice, and Amenities are great. Four stars due to little issues here and there that come with some apartment buildings in general (easy to hear people above you, gym machine issues - usually fixed, BBQ issues). They Host great events too.

Overall this is a great place to live!! My husband and I enjoy living near the pearl and going to the farmers market on weekends. Wonderful location, cute coffee shop nearby. We are a little bummed the rooftop lounge has been closed for construction for months. Sometimes a few of the treadmills in the gym do not work, and the gates to the garage are frequently broken. However they always do their best to fix it and communicate with us!! Other than that, we highly recommend!

Great location between the downtown Pearl district next to the Riverwalk and down the street from N St Mary’s. Very walkable area. Apartment itself has had security concerns among residents as well as some lack of amenity upkeep for the price point.

Amenities are nice when they work. Need to have better community events like when we moved in, luxury events. The customer service needs improvement. Security is a big issue, rather the lack of it needs to addressed.

I’ve really enjoyed living at Tin Top. The location is hard to beat—right near the Pearl and just a short walk to the River Walk, which makes it perfect for both convenience and leisure. The location and amenities are great. The beautiful complex speaks for itself. Never had any issues other than multiple car breaks, which I get happen everywhere but when brought to management attention they always said the cameras don’t work. We are told there is on site 24/7 security but when needed they don’t answer or don’t respond to the matter with urgency.
Great atmosphere and friendly people! There are so many things to do in the pearl and great restraunts to try out! They are always hosting events like movie Monday nights and the farmers markets

Tin Top Flats has been my favorite place to call home of all my apartments! It is the first “luxury” style apartments I have experienced that actually lives up to its luxury name. Overall, it is a nice brand new apartment with a great location next to the creamery and pearl. The highway is loud so I recommend a unit not facing the highway unless the noise doesn’t bother you. The windows are not the best quality and the walls are thin (just like most apartments) so the noise is my only major complaint. There’s always plenty of parking in the garage and the residents here are very nice!

Overall, really good experience. There have been a few issues with the garage. Specifically, someone ran into the gate and it took forever to get the gate fixed. It definitely caused a security issue. My biggest complaint is the mail room. It is a nightmare. Rather than an Amazon locker, it's a giant free for all. Sometimes it takes over 40 minutes to find your package. It is truly maddening. An Amazon locker would be so simple and make everyone's life better. The best part of an Amazon locker is packages are automatically picked up by Amazon if left for too long.

TinTop has an aesthetically pleasing design, for both its community spaces and its apartments. The community is reasonably quiet, with numerous activities for residents (if you want to participate). Traffic increases considerably during the academic year due to the location of Hawthorne Academy across the street from the building. As long as you don't have to enter or leave the building during the time periods of student drop off or pick up, the traffic is manageable. The proximity to the San Antonio River is a major plus; within a couple minutes, you can be walking or running along the river. Places to eat are nearby too, another bonus of the location.

The location of this Apartment building is incredible. The entire river walk is right at your doorstep. The management takes great pride in maintaining the building’s cleanliness and tidiness. They also organize well-planned social events. The amenities here are top-notch. The pool, sky lounge, and play area keep you entertained. But the best part for me is the workspace. They have nice little rooms that are perfect for working, and they also have large meeting rooms that meet all the office requirements.

Very clean and well-maintained apartment complex with great amenities. Highly desirable location near the historic Pearl. Within walking distance to downtown San Antonio along the River Walk (roughly 25-30 minutes at a leisure pace). Also close to many good, affordable eateries and bars along N St Mary's St.
