Times Square is an older building with a lot of charm. You can tell it was built by skilled craftsman. The wood trim detail to the large room sizes. Even in the stair cases the wood trim is incredible. This building was and is a major icon to the neighborhood. Right down the street to the lake. Totally surround by shops and restaurants. This is the upper east side. A very nice place to be. The surrounding mansions are a must see.

Times square have the best people to work on apartment.
My wife and I love the building. There is a nice environment in the building, the staff is really super attentive and professional, from the leasing office agents to the security guards and maintenance staff. The response time for maintenance requests is surprisingly fast for how large the building is, and communication with staff is easy and accessible.

Everyone is so nice and accommodating to our mom who is in her early 70s. We appreciate the quick communication and maintenance was very quick to help with our initial move in needs as we got into the place.

At this time, I wouldn't recommend living at Times Square Apartments to anyone. Since starting my lease on August 14th, my door was left unlocked by maintenance, I had a package stolen, I had extremely slow service regarding maintenance requests, and I have waited almost 2 weeks to receive pest control assistance after spotting bed bugs in my apartment. Additionally, after being notified of the addition of nighttime security, I have been disappointed to see a lack of follow-through with the new security measures. The security guard is not positioned at the door and I have seen the post vacant on multiple occasions. I am extremely disappointed with my new living arrangement and would not recommend this building to anyone else at this time.

If my bugs problem goes away, all the washer and dryer work, and I wasn’t embarrassed to bring people over because of the building smell, I would enjoy the building a lot more and would love to tell people about these apartments.

Was nervous reading some of the reviews and I’ll admit it’s still early in my lease but so far everything has been terrific. Sarah in the leasing office has been a pleasure and Tim in maintenance has been great as well.

The smell in the hallways is unbearable. We pay for amenities like a rooftop, but they keep it closed at all times. Even though we have lockers for packages, they get stolen continuously because the mailmen throw them in the lobby and the management do not tell them anything. Management office does not care about improving any services. They do not get involved at all because they do not care about the well being of the community
The apartment is well taken care of and attention is given to necessary matters
The apartments are magnificent it’s smoke free and It’s Quiet I love it

My son and I love living at Times Square Apartments! The office and maintenance staff are very professional and friendly. With so many apartments to choose from in Chicago, and with so many offering the same amenities, square footage, price points, etc., I knew immediately that i wanted to live at Times Square because the management team , especially Sonja, made me feel as though I would be part of a community and not just another nameless tenant that they have to deal with. They have made me feel welcome, they gone above and beyond for me, and as someone moving in from a women's shelter, they have treated me with respect and dignity and not once did they make me feel judged or less valued than any other applicant and that meant more to me than imaginable.

Times Square Apartment on-site management team provides excellent customer service, is very responsive, and professional.
Timesquare Apartments is a very good building to live in.
Cockroaches everywhere, an ongoing problem for 3+ months in common areas; and unavoidably in apartments regardless of your personal cleanliness. Management has allowed this to evolve into a full on infestation - favoring disease-carrying pests over the actual residents of this building. Before this even became an issue, the building is constantly unclean and horribly outdated with disgusting stained, stinking carpeting in the common areas. Residents leave garbage in the hallways to rot and allow their dogs to relieve themselves in there without bothering to clean it up. Unhoused people are sleeping in the stairways. Elevators only work about half the time in a 6 floor building, and the residents smoke cigarettes in them when they do. Laundry room is only ever at best half-functioning. Package theft is a constant issue which management claims they are not responsible for. This building has the potential to be a nice place to live but the current management (Lilianna in particular) has absolutely failed the residents. Review posted anonymously as they are more concerned with silencing residents than providing a safe, clean place to live. They also have claimed in replies to previous reviews that the building issues are being resolved, but it's simply not true. My advice to management: find another profession. People do not deserve to live in filth and infestation so you can stay on budget.

Times Square gave me home when I only had a few days to find a place to live. It is the perfect space for me and was in my price range. Management is wonderful and helpful for any concerns residents have. Maintence is very kind and friendly! I hope I get to stay another year when my lease is up for renewal.

I've really enjoyed living here so far! I moved in March 2020 but it's been a smooth transition all of the maintenance staff is incredibly friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and functioning! The management is pretty easy to get in contact with and I appreciate the timeliness of my questions and issues.

Timesquare apartments is a nice place to live. The apartments are clean and there's a gym where I could do exercise even in the winter.

the apartments are comfortable and beautiful but at what price. deteriorated common areas bad odors from carpets continuous theft of packages from amazon.
