Located about 12 miles away from Downtown Savannah, Windsor Forest is one of the city’s oldest residential neighborhoods. Windsor Forest is also home to the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University. Windsor Forest has apartments, condos, townhomes, and single-family houses available for rent at various price points. True to its name, Windsor Forest is a quiet wooded neighborhood with Spanish moss-draped oaks and beautiful magnolia trees. The area also has several parks like Joseph Tribble Park, which has a pond for fishing. There are restaurants, grocers, and big-box stores along Abercorn Street, the neighborhood’s northern border, but residents also have easy access to more shopping hubs like Oglethorpe Mall, which is only four miles away.

Property Ratings at Timberland Apartments
Apartments are overpriced and Ran down the staff is basically nonexistent and impossible to reach most units do no come with washer and dryer hookups and not one washer works in the laundry room so u can’t even wash your clothes in the amenity that is advertised save your money and look else where
The plumbing beneath the buildings is always flooded. Black mold grows in the walls and ceilings. I witnessed a shooting from the comfort of my living room in this neighborhood. The communication amongst the revolving door of management and ownership is so poor that long-standing issues will never be resolved. If you’re looking here for any period of time, good luck.
I just moved to this community about a month ago and so far it's been great! The office staff is super helpful and the few work orders I did have were taken care of promptly. I would definitely recommend this community....and the neighbors are awesome!
If you're looking for something simple and convenient Timberland is a great pick. However there were a few downfalls depending on what you are willing to put up with. The trees will cover your car in pine needles and maybe even some small limbs when it storms. There's not very good security there when it comes to safety. However there was no crime at all when I resided there. The application is a bit tricky get a FULL understanding before deciding to make this your home. Maintenance was great! Rooms were decently sized. Overall not a bad area.
Enjoy living in this area of Savannah, just wish management would communicate more!
