Property Ratings at Timber Point Apartments
At the end of this year (2025) I will have been here 19 years. I have seen the ups and downs throughout the years. My opinion of this place is that it's not that bad. As a delivery driver with 30 years experience I have been to a lot of apartment complexes in that time. Is this one the best? Of course not! But I have been to some that look like they should be burned to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. Timber Point is nowhere near that stage. We as tenants need to help keep this place safe and clean. The more we do that the less pressure we put on the maintenance staff. And it frees them up to get caught up on the big problems that need to be resolved.
The office staff has great customer service and they are doing everything they can to update the apartments and the road conditions great job thank you
Having issues with maintenance, very grateful for the roads getting fixed, however, during the process I had to get 4 tires replaced. The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly environment.
So far so good….Everything is wonderful so far. My only problem would be residents not picking up after their pets when they use the restroom….its a dog park and seems like nobody uses it.
So far okay it has been okay. Not really any major issues just wish there were more washer and dryers in the building. Also the potholes are horrible even took off a tire of mine.
If they fix these potholes it would be a 4 star. But they have improved with cleaning the apartments and answering the phones. Maintenance is available when needed.
Definitely getting better! Maintenance and office staff are really trying to improve the buildings with new or repaired roofs and eventually pot holes will be fixed!
For the price, its a darn good complex. The staff even at the corporate level are always happy to help, I have yet to have a negative encounter with any staff member.
A good place to live in??noice that we got security now . Made the apartment cozy and called it my home . It feels nice coming home to relax after a long day of work
At first everything was fine. However the potholes are atrocious and it's May already. I also don't appreciate not being able to bring my rent in person to the office so I can pay without incurring any fees. Additionally, I ran into problems this morning trying to pay my rent. I went to a payment center, gave them the print out, and when I tried to pay the exact number that was in my Loft app, they told me that it wouldn't accept the amount.
My time at Timber Point has been okay at best. The potholes are terrible and the hallways and common areas are absolutely disgusting. The apartment itself is okay but I have put in several work orders with nothing being done about them.
I like staying here, but I just wish they would remodel the common areas in the building. The walls, the carpet, the paint chipping, the stairs and the rails. It just makes it look tacky. Since the we had a pipe burst, that carpet still stinks after they cleaned it. We need new everything honestly.
Love this apartment! Clean, quiet, and well-maintained with friendly staff and a great location. Highly recommend living here! Makes mistakes sometimes though
It’s been nice living here. Of course getting service requests haven’t been easy to get fixed but other than that it’s been peaceful living here
When first moved in everything was amazing then, (after new management took Over) started slowly going down hill. Maintenance takes forever to show up. Half the time they barely fix what's broke. I've been waiting on a dishwasher for 2 months when I originally just called about it leaking a little and the maintenance guy completely broke it. Communication is next to none most of the time. If you can get a hold of someone, you never get a straight answer or get a we will call you back with an update.
My apartment was newly remodeled and I love that but the very first day I stepped inside the building I noticed the glass entry was shattered, the stairs and hallways were stained and smelled like dog urine, there was trash in the halls, my next door neighbor had multiple pit bulls that barked 24/7, and our apartment had roaches. Last but not least, there are actual craters in the street and parking areas that have already cost me 2 tires. No wonder the rent was lower than expected. I was unable to tour the unit prior to my move in date as I was sick but I wish I was able to crawl out of my hospital bed to view the property before signing the lease. The staff and maintenance crew are all extremely friendly but Customer Service can only take you so far.
I’ve been here for about a week and so far it’s been really good maintenance acts really fast. The apartments are pretty spacious and great for the price.
Not a happy resident at all. The price of the apartments are manageable but for all that comes with it, they should be cheap. Neighbors are loud, potholes are ridiculous, and maintenance takes forever to fix things. The office barely answers the phone, and the amount of roaches are nearly impossible to get rid of even with exterminations. I wouldn’t recommend moving here.
I love the office staff!! They are always on it and there to help especially Jenny and Arianna. The only issues I’ve had is mold in my apartment, maintenance, and people letting there dogs off leash when they dont mind the owner. Other than that I’ve been very happy here !
I like my apartment but management changes every 6 months and major renovations that are needed aren’t completed because of it. I like that I feel I have privacy, but it does not make me feel safe.
It’s quiet and ducked off. The only complaint that I have at this point in time is that the common area is disgusting. It’s embarrassing to have people come to my apartment and have to walk up three flights of filthy stairs with dirty walls and handrails.
These apartments are very nice on the inside but could use an upgrade in the common hallway areas. The staff is very nice and friendly and professional and will help to get you moved in as soon as possible.
Very nice, cozy place got it the way I wanted it , not a bad place everyone minds there business and I seen cute pets from everyone balcony so it’s nice
It’s an okay place to live I have had problems with bugs and it seems like it’s kinda under control I still some here and there. It’s quite for the most part but it scares me the amount of children that have died out here and people smoking in the hallways it comes through the vents and makes my apartment smell.
The staff was so welcoming upon move-in. We love the quiet and cozy neighborhood and the view of nature is a great bonus! We felt right at home almost immediately.
Already had great response times on maintenance issues and great communication within the first week. Staff helped us through the application process and made it easy.
I love the space of my apartment. It could use some updating but overall a decent place to live. I would prefer if there was a park or basketball court or something for the kids in the area to do and I hope they have a plan for updates to the dog park and other amenities.
Communication with staff could be better on there end. I have been living in these apartments for 8 months and literally every other month it’s something wrong. There needs to be a tremendous update to the apartments as a whole.
Quiet...no drama. Affordable rent. Most of the office people are helpful. My apartment building tenants are friendly and keep to themselves. No loudness...
Slowly getting better, hallways are getting cleaned weekly. New dish washers. Communication from office and call backs are happening. Just some minor maintenance things that need fixing
Timber Point Apartments is a nice place to live. The units are roomy and maintenance workers are friendly and helpful. I just wish they would open the pool.
Brehana was very patient with me even though I did not follow her clear instructions. She kept me updated while I gave her the cold shoulder.
Overall quiet, but I have notice that some residents don’t pick up after they pets if they have an accident in the hallway.. and stead of putting the trash in the dumpster it sits on the side
I was given satisfactory assistance in the move in process. The online portal has a few issues that have not been worked out yet. Residents are wrongly charged and then charged late fees. The leasing office has no response, just a number to call. This is very inconvenient.
We have been here for about 2 months now and everything has been good they fix anything that breaks they have been really understanding. They seem to be fixing the complex up to make it look nicer
The area is beautiful but the maintenance and office could be better. A lot remodeling and repairs need to be done and there’s no play area for kids
I love living here and they will always work with you if you need help , living here has been the best experience ever im also going to renew my lease more and more
Timber Point is by far one of the best places I've lived. Property staff and maintenance are AMAZING! I have had 0 issues with them and look forward to continuing my residency with them.
I love it it’s quite and everyone is friendly. I love the space the kitchen and dining room so much open space. Love the views I have from the patio.
It’s been pretty good since I been there, there’s nothing to complain about, good management good neighborhood, it’s almost a year now I don’t think I’ll leave soon
Nice decent environment. Kids like to touch stuff on patios, there has been a lil police activity. My main problem is the office, they never answer the phone and always acting like they got attitudes.
Peaceful place ! Feels nice coming to a warm home to see my husband , decorated nice , roomie , fresh , amazing , would recommend to anyone looking for a place to live
They answered all my questions and I had a Maintenance request they said they would get that fixed right away. I would recommend anyone to live here.
I have only had a couple issues but overall love my apartment!! When we moved in we had some issues with maintenance not trying to fix our door that seemed to be busted in but the leasing office made sure that they fixed it!
Constantly turning off the water w little or no notice. I find it aggravating. I find that if I really anything to be done in a timely matter, I have to call the Headquarters of Eighteen Capital Group because my facility works slowly like a sloth on every issue. It took almost 9 months for a broken dishwasher to be replaced; 4 years for the ceiling in the Master Bedroom to be resurfaced; however, it was not detailed so you still see where the repairs were made; in the Living Room, I had a leak over the fireplace surround and 18 months ago it was fixed but you can see the shoddy workmanship because the ceiling wasn't properly detailed. Still need grouting around tub in hall bathroom and it hasn't happened. My Apt has never been updated or carpets cleaned in 15 years.
It's been great living here. Love being 15 minutes from just about everything. My family really enjoys the nature view we have from our balcony. And we love all of our neighbors they are friendly and nice.
Maintenance is great but I just dislike the wildlife’s I asked for the office to come and clean the smell that the wildlife did and I cannot turn my heat on because of the bad smell and it’s getting cold outside
Everything was nice and smooth upon the move in. The only issue I had was my bathtub knob. The staff are nice and the apartment landscaping is pretty.
Major disappointment. I can't wait to move out at the end of my lease. Don't move here! The pool and volleyball court are not in working condition. There's is garbage everywhere. The building stink of Marijuana and cigarettes. There are roaches and Nats all the time. I get irritated everyday when I come home because this place sucks.
Rent is reasonable. Community is pretty quiet most of the time. Maintenance is decent about responding. Your only option to pay rent is ONLY through the app (with a $3 "convenience fee"). Seems more convenient for the property.
