The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Thurman Lofts
I’ve lived here for about five years, and it’s been challenging to say the least. We’re not asking for perfection — just accountability. The repeated late fees on exempt charges like third-party services and parking, along with promises to remove them that go unfulfilled, are more than frustrating — they’re demoralizing. As someone who pays on time, I’ve never seen it this bad. It feels less like property management and more like daily harassment. I hope leadership chooses to listen, take responsibility, and do better for those of us who still call this place home.
I am a longtime resident and this building has presented a complete 360! They are throwing resident events each month, they remodeled the lobby a month ago and it’s beautiful! Walked in from work today and was so happy to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! I have lived here for 6 years and have never seen this happen. Thanks Danielle!
I have lived here for 6 years. I have been through the rough of it. I will say that in the past 8 months it has gotten a lot better. Avenue5 is making a lot of progress. I met the new Manager, Danielle a week ago and she was able to have my A/C fixed same day during this heat wave. That would have never happened with prior management. I just want to say THANK YOU!
Everything is constantly broken. Elevators are constantly down, parking garage gate mostly doesn’t work so left open. Management is very poor and is contemptuous toward tenants when issues arise. Would definitely not recommend living here.
I lived here for years and I loved it so much Then new management took over and the building is not the same. Horrible management. Building falling apart. You will regret it. The security is a joke and the building is in the thick of downtown. The garage is constantly broken into
This place is awful! Management refuses to fix anything that breaks. No Heat/ no AC/ No dishwasher/ no hot water- for months! Roaches, rats, mold! I know this sounds insane, but it’s a reality- go hang out in the leasing office for any amount of time and you’ll hear complaint after complaint! Please don’t get caught in this trap!
They don’t fix anything all building are infested with mold. They are only good for putting a band aid on a gash. By far the worst property management I’ve ever seen. They don’t care about tenants. Please beware before moving in. Also the buildings are infested with roaches and they refuse to fumigate.
This building has too many issues to list Do not move here! I repeat do not live here this building has the worst management they dont care about their tenants at all!!!!! They dont respond to complaints! Packages get stolen by workers and there has been break ins! Also the city is going to come in and make sure the units are habitable because of constant complaints and the building not doing anything about it! I didnt have hot water for 2 weeks my toilet wasnt working for 2 months and theres roach infestation if i could give it a 0 star i would
I applied to SB Towers, paid for the background check, submitted income information, etc. When I finally get a call to tell me I'm approved, they mention that they decided to raise the rent by $200 more than the advertised price. Very shady!
I truly live in the 90210 of downtown LA. My husband and I, adm our Great Dane line in the best bldg, we think, in DTLA. We just got married in April And 2 of our bridesmaids/groomsmen were friends we met in our bldg. we love it. Such a community and our loft is 2200 sqft of pure greatness. ????????
If you live downtown and want the full experience, than look no further. Seriously. Right in the heart of Spring Street, a 10 minute walk from the staples center, and pretty much anything else you might need is just a short walk away. The building is really well maintained, clean, well lit, and lived in / staffed by super friendly and accommodating people. It's the tallest apartment building as well, so the view from the rooftop pool deck area is incredible. 22 story view of the entire city of Los Angeles, pretty tough to beat,
Next door to The Exchange and Beelmans Pub, SB Towers is in the center of downtown LA's night life! My 2 bed 2 bath loft is renovated, with all the amenities one would expect from this type of building, including a washer/dryer hookup with the option of renting a set through management. This building is creative and young!
