The Wyatt

We have only lived in single family homes and this is our first apartment. With a yappy little dog we were worried about how he would adapt as well as how we would. The construction of the building makes it quiet here. 11 floors up and facing The Spaghetti Bridge, we hear the dull din of traffic more than neighbors. The staff here are - well - wonderful! Paul has the name but Betty, Danielle, and everyone else have been wonderful too. Almost everything we need is less than a 15 minute walk away. The neighbors have been so welcoming. I waited a week to write this to see how it really felt and it keeps getting better. Knowing that we have a staff that is proactive and wants to help makes the decision to move into The Wyatt perfect for us and our dog and cat, too!

The Wyatt is a wonderful place to live, because not only is it a beautiful building in a beautiful spot in Portland -- but the staff here really cares. They say good morning, smile, and are prompt with responding to questions or concerns. Their communication is amazing. To boot, the concierge hosts regular get-togethers for the community! They are always jam-packed and fun (he just hosted an "affogatos on the plaza" event, which was lovely!). Would absolutely recommend the Wyatt to anyone wanting to experience the best of Portland. The community here is kind and caring.

I’ve almost completed a year living here, and I truly feel like I’m home. I’ve traveled extensively in my life, and finding a place to settle in and call it home has been difficult. Moving to Oregon was quite easy due to the nature of how this building is run and maintained. The leasing office helped me get my application and prerequisites in order and guided me every step of the way so that my move was timed perfectly and went smoother than I had anticipated. The staff are very professional and are always there to support the residents as much as possible when it comes to managing our own personal living arrangements as well as the maintenance of the building. I do love how well things are communicated for the community to be in-the-know of what’s to be done with/for the building ahead of time through the means of posting notices in the online portal, as well as in common areas, email and texts (if you opt in for it). There is never a time when notices are not posted or unclear; I believe things are run very well-thank you for that! I definitely feel at home here and never feel disconnected. There are always things to do locally and also events hosted within the building. I have yet to attend an event as of yet But it’s on my to-do. I’m feeling settled in, finally, (personal reasons and not to do with the building itself)- I’m looking forward to renewing my lease. Thank you!

The Wyatt is a great place to live with very nice apartments, great flooring and appliances. The building is quite and we have a very responsive management team and maintenance staff.

To me, living at The Wyatt feels more like a home than an apartment. And, my neighbors are as wonderful as the staff! Thank you. :-)

The Wyatt is a well maintained apartment with a friendly and professional staff. They make an extra effort to include residents in activities that build friendships. The timely teas, special occasion activities, and potlucks under the leadership of the Concierge make the Wyatt special. No one is a stranger at the Wyatt.

Nice apartments in a good location. Nothing wrong with the place if it's in your budget. Rooms can be a bit echoy due to concrete ceilings.

The Wyatt is very special as all of the residents are leasing and equal in that regard. We have a good mix of ages, young folks who work from home and old folks who are retired and enjoying the fruits of their labors. We are blessed with a remarkably good staff and esp. with our live-in concierge who organizes parties and celebrations for every occasion. The spirit here is one of friendship and respect and you just can’t go wrong if you decide to join our community!??

I’ve been living at The Wyatt for about three weeks now and I can honestly say that I love it here. Everything I could ever need is within the building: from taking out the garbage to the dumpster stations, to getting my mail, to going to my car-it’s all within the bounds of the building and that has made a huge difference for me as a person with physical limitations. I love the convenience of also being able to walk a bit down the street from the main entrance and grab some food or coffee and not need to walk too far. The layout of my apartment is beautiful-I absolutely love the huge windows and the view is also very cool. I love it here.

I’ve been a tenant at The Wyatt for two weeks and it’s evident to me that service, courtesy and professionalism are a major focus for the Wyatt team. From management to each employee, we have always been greeted with a smile and any service request has been resolved expeditiously. Kudos to the entire team!

The apartment units are beautifully constructed and unlike any other apartment homes in Portland. The location is ideal with tree-lined residential streets close to the best choices in dining and local parks.

The Wyatt is a beautiful building. The units are large and let in a lot of light. Nice tall ceilings and several floor plan options. So far I love it.

The Wyatt is a well-maintained, upscale apartment building in the heart of the Pearl District with a personable and dedicated staff. It’s a quieter building compared to most in Portland, with residents that truly make an effort to maintain community and courtesy. The neighborhood is top notch - you are steps away from a Grocery store and several coffee/tea shops and restaurants, as well as ample public transportation and green spaces.

Cannot say enough good things about living at the Wyatt. Gorgeous apartments, endless views, convenient neighborhood, friendly (but not intrusive) neighbors, great staff, fun community events, diligent and attentive maintenance team--great building over all.

The place continues to deteriorate. Its mainly the "little things". I think that details are important to people that are paying top dollar. Broken stuff. Hit-or-miss amenities. The things that do appear to be a priority are odd to me.

We are new to The Wyatt and haven’t been renting since 1975!! So far the experience here has been very good.

We feel so lucky having found The Wyatt when we moved here from Boston 5 years ago. It has kept its classiness.

Poorly trained staff and major appliance breakdowns in the first 2 months include washer/dryer (4 requests to fix it took a month), refrigerator (2 requests and a month) and the heat pump (3 requests). If I put in a maintenance request I can count on having to make at least two followups to ensure that it's acted on, understood, scheduled, etc. There is no process for followup or responses, you basically just wait until you have to go back and ask them again. So far this week it is two nights without heat with night temps in the 30s. So quality of appliances gets an F, the staff a D. Very poor overall quality for the pricing. Also when i moved in the original leasing agent Brittany presented me with a lease that was $400/mo over what we agreed to every step along the way. Fortunately I read the contract and was able to get it changed before I was fleeced.

I love, love, love living at the Wyatt. I feel secure, the location is perfect for me and the staff is great.

The best part about living at the Wyatt is the overall quality of life. Besides the quality of the homes themselves, the cleanliness and community are unmatched here in PDX.

Wonderful building, and we are especially pleased with our own townhouse as well as the prompt response to any of our requests. After living at the Wyatt for more than 5 years we have been thrilled with the living experience.

The Wyatt has been a wonderful place to live an ideal location and beautiful apartment homes and excellent management that is friendly and responsive to residence.When I first moved in I was just testing out living downtown with an eventual goal to buy a place but I have loved the Wyatt so much I decided to stay!

The staff here at The Wyatt is outstanding and we are very happy living here. It would be nice if the concierge could be seated at the lobby desk for safety and good public relations. At times strangers come in or are admitted in by residents. Perhaps the residents could be routinely advised not to admit anyone without possession of a fob.
