The Westcott Apartments

The first trip to Tallahassee, looking at the area for a starter home with my boyfriend. Shannon gave us the VIP tour!!! showed us what we originally came to look at, then showed us different options. Her personality was amazing too. She gave us answers to questions we did and did not ask. Even though we do not plan on moving for another year, it was nice to see what the area has to offer. If you are looking for a new place, make sure you go see Shannon!!!!!

Mr. Billy truly embodies kindness and dedication within The Westcott community. My family and I are incredibly grateful for his exceptional service and genuine care. Every time I’ve had a work order and Mr. Billy was assigned to it, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was not only resolved but also done correctly. What stands out most about Mr. Billy is his attention to detail and his commitment to following up. He doesn't just complete a task; he makes sure you’re satisfied and that all your concerns are addressed. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and values the well-being of the residents. The Westcott is lucky to have someone as hardworking and compassionate as Mr. Billy. He sets a standard of excellence that truly enhances our community. Thank you, Mr. Billy, for all that you do!

I typically don’t write reviews, however Bridgette & Shannon were so great during my entire move in process. I had several hiccups on my end but they were nothing but patient, supportive and understanding. The move in process was great and my apartment is even better. I am soo happy I made this choice to call here home.

I just want to thank the staff, Bridgette, Devin and Leia, for a wonderful experience with our recent move to The Westcott. Everything has been impeccable and above our expectations! Your communication prior to and after move-in has been prompt, helpful, accurate and courteous. The condition of the apartment was better than expected - So pretty and clean with really nice finishes. Love the new plank flooring, all new appliances, and pretty, fresh paint. Nice light fixtures too. Great management and service all the way around! Thanks again!

The appearance of the place looks good, but some drawers and cabinets are misaligned or only half way on the roller guides so the drawer can only come out 25%. Overall I’m very satisfied with my choice living here.

I considered moving closer to campus, but there is nothing closer that gives you this much space for such a low price. It's quiet; there isn't much traffic due to games or events at FSU, TCU, or FAMU.

Friendliness of staff and helpfulness (and extras they do for residents, like coffee, etc.) goes a long way and makes people very happy to live here...Thanks!

The property and the office personnel are great but the response to issues is very slow. I have been in my apartment for 1 month and I am still waiting for things to be fixed. The items that I have requested you don’t even know they have been completed or worked on at all. When I moved in my refrigerator wasn’t working. I had to plug it in myself and request for the hose to be connected. My dryer was smoking one evening after hours and they said there was nothing they could do until the next day. However it’s been a month and it’s still not working properly. Recently I sent in a request via the website for my dishwasher not working properly and it’s been a week and no response and it has standing water in the bottom of it.

Value is wonderful, and the upgrades are pleasing. Some things are a little frustrating, like the wire shelving missing some brackets, bathroom cabinet hinges being loose, etc. not big deals, but enough to be a little inconvenient.

I have recommended several people even after I moved out. I just told them to stay on top of things because the office personnel needed some work on notifying their residents.

Would have to be truthful about switch in apartments but the management staff has treated me wonderfully and I give them very high marks. The community is really pretty and very well maintained overall. The grounds and maintenance staff are very friendly and seem to really like their jobs.

We worked with Tammy, the assistant manager of the property. She was very easy to work with and listened to our wants and needs for a new home. She was very accommodating. I also spoke with Bridgette over the phone prior to our visit. Very personable and helpful!!! She answered my many many questions and was willing to help with anything else. Loved the staff we worked with.

I would recommend this apartment community, due to the size. Phase I and II, great size in apartments, has all amenities needed, very nice office staff "Taylor" and rent is reasonable for what you will be receiving in your home/community.

I still think this a great community and really love the floor plans. The prices are affordable. Just would like to have request handled better.

As far as apartments in Tallahassee I feel the Westcott is as nice of a place as you'll find. We're happy here.

The apartment features are old. I was told their was remodeling that took place and yall just painted over counters. The money you're paying for rent is for the amenities and the community but not for the quality of the apartments. They are spacious but outdated for the price

I love the floor plan with the solarium, the staff member Ana was awesome, and community seems peaceful and well kept. So I would recommend it. The cost is higher than I would like but I would still highly recommend it!

Very quiet, and affordable neighborhood. Just the right mix of amenities, and the apartments are very spacious. As long as I'm living in Tallahassee, I will not live in any other apartments except these.

The grounds are well maintained; the maintenance and office staff are friendly and responsive. The only issue I've heard from other residents (but did not have an issue with myself) was the added fee of cable/water/sewer/trash. It appears others either don't understand or it may not be fully explained at lease time.

It is a nice complex with very nice amenities and beautiful setting. Landscaping very nice and well kept. Managed over all well. Appreciate valet garbage pickup, but not a necessiry since drop off at dumpsters convenient. I would be hesitant because I dont have confidence if a real problem came up i could depend on the management.Have had patio items stolen from outside front door, and no concern or response other than shoulder shrug response. Same shrug shoulders attitude when a package supposedly delivered to office wasn't located. Same shrug shoulders when I didn't get a $100 gift certificate in lease agreement wasn't acknowledged for months. Worse was I was paying double utilities for months while I kept cont acting both City and Apartment management before apartment finally contacted city directly when I came in at my wits end. And I felt even then was treated as being unreasonable for demanding to see someone other than the person at the front desk. That is when it finally was taken care of but I still had to make a reminder call and provide them with all the data.

Price a little high and pool did was not open all the time. Complex overall is nice and quiet. No problems with theft or damaged property

I have returned to this community multiple times over the years. On the whole, I would recommend it to others. The facilities and the property are nice. Office staff are friendly and helpful. If they were more proactive about enforcing certain community rules (such as noisy parties and keeping non-residents out of the pools) it would make the community even more attractive and make me able to recommend it to others without reservations.

Great place to live, super staff, wonderful amenities, super mix of wooded and built up areas. I would not recommend this place to people who are looking for a "bargain" if their only concern was $$$.

I am so happy with my new apartment! The space is exactly what I need, not to mention the kitchen and closets. Need I say more?! When I have a service request, it is handled in record time. If it's an emergency, it reminds me of Jimmy John's. As soon as I hang up the phone, 5 minutes later, they're there! I am so happy! :D
