We've been living there for 7 years. The buildings are nice and clean. The management is good. They maintain the buildings very well. The maintenance crews are always around. We love to stay here.

Niece area, but mice live under the stone rocks in the community. If your child leaves their bike, scooter, etc. Outside it gets thrown away by the groundkeepers or maintenance. I do like how they are always helping when you need them to fix something in your house.

The property & our apartment could have been updated a lil more for the price. The rental staff changed alot within the 3years of us being here. Even though, most of the issues in general; in the apt & community where handled, it takes a few times to get it done.

I have been living in this apartment complex for several months now and I can say that it has both positive and negative aspects.The location is quite convenient, as it is close to supermarkets, schools, and public transportation. This makes it easy to get around the city without having to rely too much on the car. The maintenance staff is usually quick to respond to requests. The common areas, such as the gym and pool, are in good condition and are a nice extra to relax during free time. The bad: The quality of the finishes in the apartments could be improved. In some cases, the appliances are a bit old and the walls seem thin, as you can hear the noise from the neighbors.Parking is a bit limited, especially in the evenings when all the residents are home. It is sometimes difficult to find a spot close to the building. Overall, this complex is not the best, but it is not the worst either. If you are looking for an affordable place with a good location and don't mind dealing with som

I have no issues with the area or the complex . The leasing staff is awesome . I just have one issue with the people in charge of the residential portal . They locked my account and now I’m forced to go elsewhere to make payments . Otherwise I have no real complaints!

It is alright. It took them more than 2 extra weeks to fix everything and there is still some stuff that needs to be fixed. Other than that everything is great. The only main issue was that extra time we had to wait to move in.

Parking is terrible. I think there are too many fees. The trash needs to be picked up sooner and often. I like the community, neighbors are nice. People are respectful of property.

I like all of the different programs that the leasing office offers. The area is nice and the maintenance staff typically shows up fairly quickly to address issues in the home. I have only experienced once where they showed up the next day for something that could have turned into an extreme situation. The office staff is fairly nice though not very knowledgeable. I have been here for over a year and still have no access to any mail, laundry facilities, or the gym. I have been given incorrect keys that do not access either multiple times and still don’t have the correct keys to take advantage of facilities I pay for in my rent. Outside of those issues, I have no other complaints.

So far since I’ve been living here, everything has been good. The maintenance team has been worn any issues. I did hear that it was a pest problem, but I have not experienced it. The only issue I have is I don’t like the wires being so low and the water bill fluctuating, but the office representatives are very wonderful people and helpful .

Everything it's really good in this building. The neighborhood it has a lot of places where we can go to buy What we want, the only thing is the doors that are always unblocked and a lot of people come to do a mess inside of the building.

everything is good except for the privacy, there's a lot of People that come to this building to smoke but the neighborhood is good and maintenance team is great

I love living here, the townhouse is really comfortable and the area where we live is amazing also neighbors are respectful and quite the pool for summer was perfect

Office staff is absolutely horrible. Maintenance is good. They never give you a 24 hour notice of someone entering your apartment. The leasing office girls lie about everything

Area is good. Small Kitchen, but roomy rooms otherwise. My only complaint is that Air circulation in house is a struggle, but that might just be maryland architecture since the house is old.

My Wife and I enjoy our apartment. It's generally quiet and safe, and the apartment is a nice size. For full disclosure, we did have one instance of mice and bugs, but management was responsive in getting that taken care of and we have not seen them since. Neighbors are, as always, a mixed bag with apartment living. I believe those critters came from above, but they were quickly mitigated between my efforts and those of maintenence/pest control. Overall, we're happy with the community. As always, do a walk through of your apartment and ask for things to be addressed immediately, but I can say that the management is generally responsive. I'd definitely renew my lease here.

Quiet neighborhood for the most part. I highly suggest securing a reserved parking spot at an additional 35$ per month if you want to ensure you always have a parking space. The office personnel doesn'tseem to take maintenance requests too seriously...... We've lived here 9 months and still waiting for some things to be repaired that were pointed out upon move in. (Scott is one of the best maintenance techs they have.) Dumpsters are almost always full and trash running over into the streets. No one wants to see this when they pull into the parking lot of their home. Not all together a terrible experience, but not the best either.

Been here for three months now. Had a few maintenance issues, all of which were resolved immediately. Friendly staff. Minimal noise. Kept clean. Nice neighborhood.

I just moved in and am loving it so far! I worked with Chloe in the leasing office to find and arrange all the details and she was great through the whole process. There was a slight hiccup where the apartment I signed the lease for became unavailable because the current tenants decided not to move out. It was a little added stress I didn’t love prior to move in, BUT Chloe was amazing getting things sorted out - I was able to keep my move in date the same because they offered me a 2 bedroom instead of a 1 bedroom at a very discounted rate still within my budget. I ended up with an extra room and half bath I hadn’t expected; who would want to say no to that!

This place is insanely unorganized. I moved in three weeks ago and have had to deal with maintenance coming in and out of my house unexpectedly. Water shut offs with improper or inaccurate information regarding times and units affected. Nails in the carpet left from contractors, bad paint job, marks and dents in walls, dead mice in the water heater closet. This place is absolutely horrific. I will be telling everyone I can about this horrible place.

My experience here at Chartley Village Townhomes and Apartments, have been pretty good. What I like about it here at Chartley Village is that they have plenty of playgrounds for you children to play. Also, I am close to a lot of stores and restaurants, and I am not that far from the highway. The schools are pretty close which I like a lot. The only downside I have with this property is that, they do not have enough parking for residents and their guest.
