The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Village at Cloud Park
I lived in a 2nd floor apt here for 2 years. I would not recommend this apt complex unless you can get a third floor unit. The first year I lived here I had no issues, but my second year I had two very loud upstairs neighbors. I could hear every footfall they made and the last resident I had above me worked 3rd shift so for 2 nights each week I had to wear ear plugs just to sleep at night. I ended up moving out a couple months before my lease was up just to get out of my horrible living situation. Whenever my upstairs neighbor was home, it was impossible to relax or enjoy peace and quiet. I submitted noise complaints to management multiple times, but no meaningful action was taken to resolve it so I moved.
I love it here! The staff is great. Quick to fix maintenance requests.
Fantastic front desk and grounds staff, easy to work with. Comfortable apartments, plenty of parking, friendly community, good location, park across the street, good gas prices nearby. Grounds are kept clean and manicured, quick response to maintenance. Sidewalks salted and road plowed in the winter, especially helpful with the snow we had this past winter. Only two negatives would be higher price (but you get what you pay for, and it's good) and the geese year-round in and around the lake can be a nuisance. Glad to live here these past 8 months!
I’ve stayed here for the past 5 years. The office staff are always nice! The maintenance guys are awesome. I can say something is wrong and they will come fix it that day! Beautiful property! The grounds are always kept very clean. It’s a very quiet area. I love it here!
I moved here in 2009 and had to leave due to my son's loss of his wife to cancer. I moved to S. Carolina but after a year called and ask them to hold a place for me. I returned mostly due to location and availability of services. A great park is across the street. There is a supermarket.bank.pharmacy and hair salon along within walking distance of the apartments. Maintenance and supervision of the facility is excellent. Just call and they are there. I vote 5 stars for this facility. It is close to all major work and the Air Force base. The city is growing yearly and there are 3 major colleges, University of Dayton, Wright State, Central State and community colleges of Sinclair, Miami Jacobs, Edison, Phoenix and U of Indiana Westlyen. Great weather and entertainment and cultural events.
The apartments are not well insulated so the electricity bill was rather high. The walls seemed to be paper thin also because we could hear our neighbors perfectly. Other than that it was a nice place to live.
The Village at Cloud Park is a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean. I live alone here and could not feel safer anywhere else....I love having a park with a running trail just across the street from my home.
Property Manager at The Village at Cloud Park, Responded To This Review
What was wrong with the noise. I'm interested in moving there and that's one of my biggest concern.
My husband and I decided on Cloud Park after shopping around the Dayton area for an apartment. We lived there for a year (2012-2013) and had a wonderful experience. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We had no major maintenance issues, and the few small ones were quickly resolved. The neighbors were quiet. The apartment was in great condition, and we really loved the view from the patio. The floor plan was spacious and made it easy to entertain. Cloud Park is a great place to call home.
My wife was transferred from her Company from China to the Huber Heights area of Dayton. We looked at various apartment complexes but decided to rent from The Village at Cloud Park. The office staff was very professional and gave us various options. They contacted us with updates of availability and referred us to various services in the area. The complex is ideally located and close to restaurants and shopping areas. The airport is only 20 minutes away and the major Interstate Highways are nearby.
I visited this community and was very impressed. I was warmly welcomed by staff who were very helpful and polite. I toured a model apartment and I was very surprised by the quality. There was no noise at all I could hear a pin drop most of the time. The grounds were well maintained and there was something for everyone.
