Property Ratings at The View at Crown Ridge
Moved in February, and we absolutely love this place! The pool is freakin awesome and it's in a perfect location. If we want to go out to eat at The Rim, it's 2 miles up the road. If we want to go shopping at The Shops at La Cantera, it's 2 miles up the road. Everything we need is close by, but not right up on top of us. We get to live in a brand new complex in the nicest part of San Antonio, but not have to deal with the traffic and construction on I-10 and 1604. Front office/maint. are all cool and they have thrown events for us 5 or 6 times already since we've been here!
My apartment is facing the most beautiful trees and nature. The clubhouse, pool and gym are to die for. Friendly neighbors and the office always has fresh cookies and welcoming smiles. I love my home and anyone else who moves in, will too. :)
Starting out as a gorgeous view and quartz countertops, the nice things quickly get overshadowed by its poor upkeep. There is always trash in the apartment breezeways and large pieces outside of the dumpsters as it never seems to be emptied often enough. The grass is cut way too infrequently and no one cleans up after their pets. It wouldn’t be too much of a problem if there was enough grass to actually own a dog here. The clubhouse is nice, but don’t be fooled by the premise of free WiFi there. It seems like the router is in a shed out back because you won’t get signal. Inside the apartments, the kitchen appliances are nice, but the washer/ dryer is low quality and super loud. The staff is hit or miss but seems to be trying harder. I want to renew my lease but at this rate I will not.
I had a great leasing experience from start to finish. My main reason for leasing was because they would not stop following up until I said "YES' to the home. Very thorough move in and even had a move in tour which was a first for me. I was shown how to use the access gate, where the pool phone was at in case of an emergency, how to access the clubhouse after hours, where my mailbox was located and was escorted to my apartment home. I would refer anyone to live here!
Just moved in a couple of months ago and couldn't ask for a better place to call home! The front office staff and maintenance are on it and will do what it takes to make sure any issues are resolved. No complex is perfect but the right team can definitely make a difference. Just enjoyed a super fun "tacos and tequila" event where there was a full taco bar and margaritas for us to enjoy. Love Love Love!
The apartments look nice but the washer/dryer/dishwasher, etc. are really low quality and super noisy. You can hear every step in the apartment above. It's nice that they allow all dogs, but there is hardly any green space to walk them, no dog park, dog wash,etc. I give it 2 stars since the amenity center is nice

Many of the tenants are sloppy, leaving trash and other junk on their patios and large furniture items in front of a trash compactor that seems to be overflowing pretty normally, making the entire complex look trashy. Rules regarding valet trash placement are rarely enforced, and the quality of the tenants is subpar. Maintenance is slow and unreliable. Additionally, the office staff can be rude and unprofessional. Many times their phones do not even work. Happy my lease here is short. Will not be renewing. Not worth the rent for the environment provided or quality of service always given.
