The northern Austin suburb of Highland has seen a lot of recent development in the last few years. What was once an area of mid-century homes and a mall has become a community of diverse housing options and is home to a vibrant community college campus. Solar panels are a common site on renovated ranch-style homes, as are a number of new apartment complexes.
You’ll find plenty of dining options on North Lamar Blvd., including poke, ramen, and the country cooking at Threadgill’s. The Linc is a popular open-air mall on the eastern border of the area that houses an upscale movie theater, big-box stores, and some popular local eateries too. The Highland campus of Austin Community College helped revitalize the area and adds to the area’s already highly-rated school system.
Highland has become an increasingly popular community due to the recent developments as well as the commute times. The drive to Downtown Austin takes just around 20 minutes with the I-35 and Airport Blvd.

First off the community events are always so welcoming! The new Management team is just phenomenal, they care!
I have lived here for 3 years and it has been the greatest. New management team is better than the last!
I lived here for a year now and maintenance are super fast here. All my work orders are always closed out same day or next day. Mangement teach is absolutely great! They care about their residents here and I love the events they always have!

This is the best location. Fast food and convent store in walking distant!
I have lived here for 3 years and continue to stay. This is honestly the best location in this area.
First off the staff she was just phenomenal! Secondly the apartments are renovated and just looks fantastic
These apartments are so updated! The townhome, bedrooms are upstairs!!!! Can’t wait to move in.
This property is very secured. When I toured they had a very great security system there. Also the neighbors were so inviting and nice.
Moved in to the apartment a week ago, and already my apartment has flooded twice. It took emergency maintenance 8 hours to get to me while the ceiling of my apartment rained down sewer water from the toilet upstairs. The “renovations” are apparently meant to cover up the horrible plumbing. When I went to the leasing office to speak with someone, they said it was up to me to replace my things, things that would not have been ruined, had their maintence come in a timely manner. Do not lease here!
