Property Ratings at The Veranda Apartments
The property manager Cynthia and assistant manager Melissa are very friendly and helpful, making it a welcoming place to come home to. Cynthia really helped me get all the online paperwork worked for the lease. The complex has lots of trees and birds making it nice to walk around. New pool furniture is comfortable, and also looks very nice. There are frequent scheduled social events, always with a good variety of yummy snacks, giving residents the opportunity to meet and socialize. The apartment is situated in a safe area. Walking distance to the nice grocery shop HEB plus, several restaurants, Dollar Tree, Fitness Freedom gym, Kohl's, Super Walmart. There is a bus stop opposite the main gate so going around by bus was convenient. Behind the apartment is a nice tree lined residential area and big field, great for walking and running. You can't go wrong leasing here.

The Veranda feels like a cozy cove located in the middle of the bustling and busy Corpus Christi. It is a stone's toss from just about every store/activity / restaurant imaginable. The apartments are of great quality, what really struck me was the office's active effort to create an inclusive and engaging community. From weekly events, a bangin' clubhouse you can just go in and grab a drink, and a great pool to lounge in. Both ladies at the office are very nice and will be eager to help you settle in. I was also very appreciative of their efforts to ensure that our apartment was of good quality and that repairs are done in a timely manner. The added pest control every Tuesday ( upon request ) is a great and welcome benefit. The community is gated and is safe enough to walk around at night to enjoy a stroll. Overall, I am very satisfied with our move and am looking forward to our new life here in Corpus.

Beautiful grounds excellent staff and maintenance team all very nice...get the work done in a timely manner. Management always willing to help and hear anything you need.
Only good point was fast maintenance, even though some repairs are "rigged". I had mold and pest issues (roach and mice), back sliding doors did not seal, A/C went out 4 times, large holes in the wall where pipes protrude and the water was brown. Mold got into clothing and is causing issues with any electronics with fans, clothing, and books at my new place. They'll need to be trashed. I had a six month lease left one month early for new work. I was forced to pay for time I wasn't there even though these conditions existed while others moving in were given several free days to do so. I should have been paid back for all the time I spent in that mold. Do not give these folks your hard earned money. Spend extra get a nice place that does proper clean up after a hurricane. Corpus is challenged and even as a former realtor, this looked like a gem. Not quite. Recent resident behaviors and police property only added to the issues.
From all away from Corpus Christi, Tx my name is Christopher and man I love these apartments for being a newly wed this appt is very spacious and when we get that Texas heat the a/c sure dose feel good. Plus we have a awesome pool, and a bulit in bar-b-que pits in select areas of the complex; and I was lucky enough to have it right in front of my place cause you know us Texans we love bbque! But all joking aside The Veranda apartments are great caretakers are excellent, the workers are very nice plus they are medical friendly and that's plus for me and my wife. Oh I forgot to mention they allow pets as well.
good apartment but slightly overpriced but excellent location and good staff.
I have lived at the Veranda for 12 years. I moved here when my family had to place my mother in an assisted living center due to poor health and the need for nursing care. The Veranda is just down the street from that center. I wanted to be close to her. I enjoy the small community as it is a small complex. The grounds are always beautifully landscaped. The families have a great time congregating at the pool and cooking on the bbq pit. It's a nice homey environment and close to great shopping centers and fabulous restaurants. The management team is friendly and maintenance staff are quick to respond to your needs.
