Beautiful and quiet place to live.
If you want an honest review of this complex, knock on some doors and ask the residents. Every amenity is false advertisement; nothing is kept up or taken care of across the complex. The "24-Hr Fitness Center" is in fact only open 8AM to 10PM, not to mention only open 10AM - 4PM currently with only 50% of the equipment. The dog park has been cancelled and removed from their amenities list because it was "misleading." The clubhouse and cyber cafe are not open, both of which were presented as 24 hour amenities...but can be rented..The bike shop, car wash, and pet spa are currently "coming soon." These were all advertised and sold to residents as being done by spring 2020. We're are months past and there is no timeline for these to be completed. The Bike shop was to include bike storage, a perk MANY people were looking forward too; now that aspect seems to have been cancelled as well as the maintenance department has taken over much of the building. Nice to know that could be completely on time. The pet waste stations are continually over full and out of bags. The resort style swimming pool is only open 10AM - 4PM, and those are days the management feels up to getting it open on time, let alone at all. There has been many times since opening that it has not opened at all with no notice out to residents. The courtyard is nothing but dirt and weeds surrounding a disgustingly dirty fountain. You can find building gutters, water bottles, trash bags, and shooters in the pond. These items have been there for weeks, months. No one walks around to inspect the property. Post construction, many areas of concrete were cut out and replaced. Many of these areas are currently in worse condition, or the surrounding areas were damaged in the process. There has been broken sprinkler lines flooding different parts of the complex continuously for over a month. You can only use Covid as a crutch for so long. The majority of all other apartments in the area have been able to keep amenities open without removing equipment or shedding hours while complying with Covid guidelines and regulations. Residents are paying a a premium rent for these amenities that were described whether you list them in the lease or not..There has been very little communication from management or the owners in regards to EVERY residents dissatisfaction with the complex. Save your time and continue looking elsewhere for your next apartment.
The Venue is the perfect place to live. A little bit of country , but close enough to shopping. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable.
The Venue at Werner Park has a wonderful support staff. The application process was easy and the staff was very engaging prior to my move-in date. More importantly, my experience with the support team after I moved into my apartment has been amazing. Any maintenance issue I had was addressed promptly and completed to my satisfaction. Very impressive. If you are looking for a newer complex which is located in a quiet area near Werner Park, the Venue is a must see.
We have just moved in. I needed to do some urgent laundry and the washer had no water. I was unable to turn the faucets, so I called the office and Jill came immediately. She turned the water on and I was able to complete my task.
Beautiful apartment homes with excellent friendly staff. You couldn't ask for more. Quality of life at it's best! Amenities are awesome too!

Very happy with the Venue. Feel safe which is important, very clean and take care of as well as great amenities. They have also been very responsive and informative in this time of pandemic.
Such a disappointment. Construction of this place is substandard. Since this is a person's residence, it should be in better shape, especially for being a brand new place. Doors that won't close, chipped mirrors, carpet that we can't seem to get the dirt out of, bathroom fixtures loose or off, a shower that feels like it has dried drywall compound, 4 work orders in 3 months (2 major ones in the first three days. Large dogs in about every apartment except a couple, with very little sound proofing. I shouldn't be able to hear the dog in the apartment above me running on the floor. Plus, we shouldn't be able to hear the dogs above us, or the apartment next to us bark, but we do every time they bark. The bright side, I do enjoy all of the employees.
The Venue provides comfortable, well-appointed apartment living. Neighbors are friendly, the community is quiet, Prairie Queen Recreation Area is within walking distance, and we have enjoyed the beautiful pool. You also can't beat the location and have easy access to just about anywhere in the Metro area.

The Venue is a community environment. From the maintenance personnel to other tenants. Wish I could find something to critique, but honestly its about as perfect as you could imagine

The apartment is over priced. The apartments look nice but have cheap finishings. I recommend that you rent somewhere else unless you like to have a lot of problems.
Great location, beautiful floor-plans and staff is very helpful. Close to shops, restaurants and walking trails.
The Venue is a really nice place. Jill and Holly are terrific to work with on any issue. BH Management should be extremely thrilled to have those two ladies representing them.

I have never been an apartment dweller in my life. I was a home owner for over 40 years, so I was a little apprehensive about making this change. I have to say I love it at the Venue! I love my apartment and that my dog is welcome here. I am looking forward to Spring and all of the beautiful landscaping coming to life.
