The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hello, we regret to hear that your experience with us was not a more positive one. Please reach out to us at (847) 397-3900 when you can so we can address this situation directly. Thank you and have a great day.
If I could leave them no stars I would much rather do that. This place is not a place to call home. All they care about is money, raising rent and charging every fee under the sun when you move out. Security deposit? Kiss that goodbye, pet fee? Gone! Mind you every unit is carpet and they charge over 900 to replace it even if it was maintained. They didn’t give notice of maintenance coming in, I was sleeping with my daughter in our room and I hear yelling and banging on my bedroom door waking us from our sleep. That’s frightening for a single mother, for a man to be yelling in my home that I thought was secure and safe. Also don’t forget the dog poop left everywhere you cannot walk in the grass at all. It wreaks when you walk outside for a stroll through the complex. There are raccoons throughout who find warmth under your car and jump at you when you go to throw away the trash. Can’t forget the time me and my daughter almost got hit by a car crossing the street because people speed through the complex. So not a place for children. Save your time, money, and mental state.
There is just a peace offered at these grounds. The two-acre lake, fountain, and nature that sounds "home" is very tranquil. The ability to have washers and dryers available on the same floor is almost unheard of. My neighbors are peaceful, the parking is plenty and the maintenance is handled quickly and professionally. The employees in the front office were extremely helpful and continue each time I email and reach out to them for guidance. I've read some reviews that mention issues with moving out and I can't speak on that but everyone I've encountered is a straight shooter and I believe if given the 60 days notice prior to moving out then everything should be ok. Also, I can't speak on them keeping your down payment for repairs, new carpets, etc but I can say when I moved into my unit it was pristine. I had some issues here and there but maintenance was quick to help and make it all as good as new again. I also read about Raccoons and Geese issues. Well, you guys it's the "Tree House" Apartments. There's a lot of nature and wooded area and with that and a load of apartments throwing out the trash - Raccoons will come and eat from your trash. However, just stay away and you'll be fine. They aren't chasing people from their cars or anything. The geese can become agitated when their goslings are around. They'll hiss but just keep your distance. If you don't like any of these things - do you really like nature? If you answered yes, then this place is full of it. I moved away from the city and I can't speak about it forever but so far I am really enjoying the change of pace, scenery, and accommodations these apartments offer.
It looks nice but take a closer look. The windows are not sealed properly so you’ll lose money with your heating and electric bills. Sliding glass doors, if you call to “insulate” for winter because frost built up on the inside of the windows, they just put plastic over it with packing tape - don’t except them to clean up the residue it leaves behind. That’s your job! The walkways flood during rain and ice over in winter. Very dangerous. Snow removal- hope you don’t need to leave early for work! You HEAR everything, from outside noises to people in the stairwell, upstairs walking, and your side neighbor having ______. They don’t change the locks to get into the main door to your apartment; neighbors upstairs moved out but their friends let themselves in to “smoke” in the stairwells! You won’t get your security deposit back - read the fine print! It may look great but take a second look there are nicer places in the same area.
I have lived here for roughly 8 years now and I absolutely love Treehouse! The floor plans are spacious and comfortable, and the pricing is beyond reasonable for the amenities that are provided! I love how modern my apartment is and the buildings are very well maintained. I have had to call maintenance for small things here and there over the years, and they are always very timely and professional. The office staff is phenomenal! They are very approachable and the office atmosphere is very inviting. They believe in community and it shows! The amount of effort they put into hosting events for the residents is incredible! Kristen, the property manager, is awesome! She has a "zero tolerance" policy for any nonsense and she takes pride in her work... it shows! Joanna, Matt, and Will are very knowledgable and honestly, just a pleasure to work with! They make it easy to want to stay and renew each year! Rent here, you will not regret it!
The Treehouse of Schaumburg is a great place to live. It offers all of the amenities that you could ask and the rooms are luxurious like advertised. Rooms come complete with updated appliances, nice hardwood flooring in the kitchen and dining area. Central heating and air conditioning are a nice plus too. The balconies area very spacious so you can put a few chairs out or store extra things that you don't want to keep inside. It's nice there are 2 pools to avoid overcrowding as much as possible. Maintenance is very good and friendly, anytime I've had a problem with something they are very responsive. There are no washer or driers in the units, but each floor in every building has its own laundry room (4 rooms share). The parking is one of the reasons that I gave it a 4 star, most of the time I have to park pretty far away from my building because there are no open spots even decently close. This is a pain when you have a lot of stuff to carry in, like groceries. But overall it's a nice place to live.
The management company is very responsive to maintenance requests. And they are super nice apartments. Lee love it here, it is totally worth the higher price for the rent.
I like living here, but here are my complaints: 1. The sidewalks and streets wont get shoveled/plowed until midday (after everyone has left for work?) AND- if its a holiday they won't get cleaned at all. It's currently new years day and multiple people have gotten stuck in our parking lot. It's not going to be fun tomorrow when everyone is trying to leave for work with 10 inches on the ground. 2. If you leave a message with their answering service it will be as if you didn't leave a message at all. I've left a message about 10 times and work has NEVER been completed. (You must speak to a actual person in the office for anything to happen) 3. Sometimes you have to talk to a person in the office multiple times in order for work to be completed. They are always nice, but it's annoying that you have to go out of your way to make sure they do their job. 4. When issues arise that the staff maintenance man can't fix it may take half a year and about 10 phone calls to get it fixed. (i.e. intercom/security system) Here are the ups to living here: 1.Free gym (and pool in the summer)-- they keep it open a long time! (before and after public pools are open in the season) 2. Their appliances are nice and new, you can tell they aren't top of the line- but great for an apartment. 3. Convenient location 4. Nice Staff 5. Sensible layout and size to each of the apartment layouts.
The staff at the Treehouse are superb! Matt, Matt, and Katie always welcomed individuals with a warm smile and cheerful voice upon entering the main office or when calling. I would recommend The Treehouse for serveral reasons: newer applicances, the pool and fitness are well maintained. Ample parking and lighted parking. Beautiful grounds to take a walk or jog. For a large complex it is extremely quiet. The maintance crew would respond immediately if a repair was required. When I moved out, the final walk through was easy and I recieved 95% of my deposit back (I probably would have had 100% however I have a older dog who is sick).
