I’ve lived here before and i loveee everything about itt!! the tour guide was really nice and made me feel so muchh at home already! I can’t wait to move inn! ??
Average apartments. They did just do a bunch of updates which I think has made it a little better. Staff are nice and mostly willing to help. My car did get stuck in the parking lot once last winter and they said they couldn’t do anything to help me even though they were the ones that weren’t making sure it was plowed correctly.
I’m grateful that I found The Tate! I don’t want to ever move again. The Staff are all wonderful! ! My unit and my roommate are incredible! So happy that the pool is open for the summer!
Need some inbody check machine after finished exercising without this everything in this service is really good to be a part of the residents.
Overall, living at The Tate on Howard, I have had a pleasant experience. Our neighbors are a bit loud but that is to be expected in a college apartment. The amenities are great besides our tv being old and out of service. But maintenance is very communicative in telling us when we are getting a new one. Maintenance can be slow but it is to be expected when everyone moves in. The pool and club house is amazing and a great touch to the apartment living. Hoping that the Tate will become a gated community to help with safety and comfort in living. Overall, I would highly recommend living here.
This is a decent place to live. It could stand to had update in interior finishes but it is a good place to live that is close to campus. Ideal for anyone who wants to walk to campus.

You definitely get what you pay for at these apartments. For the price they aren’t bad. The locks on the buildings can be unlocked with your phone which is fairly convenient

Beautiful property -- deeply dubious management and policies. Management has changed twice in the year I've been here, and very little has been communicated to each other or to us, to the resident's detriment. They also absolutely need more maintenance people! There are only maybe 2 people caring for the entire property, and they are overworked and buried in requests!

I've had a good experience so far! Only issue is with maintenance sometimes taking a while but I understand they're busy. Other than that, I have had a good time here.

Love the building and the location, it's very convenient. The only reason I'm not giving my experience 5 stars is because of maintenance request timing. They usually take at least a couple weeks to complete, sometimes months. But I think everything else has been very good so far.
The community is kind and considerate and it is nice to be able to connect through events. We have had to chat with some of our neighbors about volume late at night, but everything turned out alright.
Theres a screaming frat guy in the parking lot every once in a while and sometimes people’s car alarms go off and who ever it is doesn’t shut it off for a bit but I’m liking it here alright.

I feel that the office employees need to be on the same page with knowledge and assistance. I have gotten different information countless times from the various staff in the office. Everyone is super nice but not entirely helpful when it comes to relaying information and repairing appliances within our unit.

I have enjoyed living here for the past three years, the office staff is great and very helpful. Some of the changes like new locks seem unnecessary and will take some getting used to but overall it’s been a decent experience.

Lately, living at the Tate hasn't been the best of experience. There have just been too many problems or issues that for me. For example, there have been piles of poop everywhere I walk and before I assumed it was the animals around campus or in the small forest next to us, but they are piles of dog poop everywhere. Even near the designated trash cans and dumpsters that I have been nausea every time I go to walk my dog. There is also trash everywhere, so the place has just been so unclean. As for in the apartment, my roommates and I have been finding thing after thing wrong with the apartment. Like our counter is slowly starting to detach from the wall and the heating is either too cold or too hot (we haven't found a good middle ground 72 degrees gets to too hot and 71 we're freezing). These are just a couple of things I've noticed in the last month or so that have made the place more and more unpleasant to live at.

Hey Alaina! We are aware of the dog poop situation on site, as you know, most of the snow has just recently melted, revealing a lot of poop and trash that has been covered until recently. Now that we can see the issue, we have already reached out individually to those we have identified as the issue. And our team is cleaning up all trash since the snow melted! Maintenance workers are nice people but we went 4 months without a working washer :(. Also staff is not diligent about responding to complaints quickly. Not to mention we have been quoted “rules” from our lease that do not exists in the written document we signed. We lived with excessive mold for months after repeatedly informing the office we had a resident with severe allergies. Our upstairs neighbors are excessively loud screaming and running around all night it took over 6 months to be taken seriously. Not to mention the new lock system. To say the least it is the worst idea this apartment complex has ever had. The communication of info before switching locks was almost non existent leaving more than 1/2 of the residents unable to access there apartment. when I could not access my key I was told I would have to “have my roommate’s let me in and out or call the emergency line to be let in. Also what if my phone dies, I lose service, or we lose power if I could give 0/10 I would

Living at this apartment for the last three years has been an amazing experience. The proximity to amenities, campus, and transportation made my stay here a comfortable one. I would recommend other students to come to this apartment because the experience will be awesome for them!

It’s amazing how much they care and treat me and my service dog, even gave me a parking spot, so he didn’t get hit by a car because either drivers go too fast, and they’re not expecting him to be there.

The Tate on Howard is a nice place to live. The biggest perk is how close it is to campus. However, I feel like they don't have enough staff to be the best they can be. They are still trying to get everything done it just feels like they are spread a little thin. I would love to see how they would be operating if they had adequate staffing and funding to maintain the property. They have been working on completing two gates for close to a year, and there is general maintenance of parking lot that I don't think is supported. Overall, I would mostly recommend The Tate to people who want to be close to campus and that was a priority. Oh, and watch the speed bumps if you're coming through, they are steep!

Leasing office staff are very helpful and nice. Maintenance can be slow but the staff is very friendly. The kitchen and living room are updated and spacious. The bedrooms are nice as well.

I have really enjoyed living at the Tate. Although we have encountered a few problems maintenance has them fixed fairly quickly. The people in the office are very helpful and it’s a great community.

Maintenance’s tends to take a while, they’ve been working on the gates since the fall and driving over the holes from construction do not seem to be good for my car, they also keep the building with the mail, coffee, and study rooms locked a lot which can be very irritating.

Not great management and it shows. You can put the same maintenance request in 4 times and they won't look at it, or they come in and say everything is fine when it isn't and just leave, office is also only open during times that I work so I can never actually go to the office unless I get a rare day off and it's kind of really annoying actually

I like the location the space is big and the price is reasonable. Maintenance is slow and has been wanting help with the TV. Small things are broken, but I know people's washer and dryer have been breaking

Living here is great! Rent is a little steep for what’s being offered, but otherwise I’ve had no issues living here. It’s so nice having a washer and dryer in house, and I love being so close to so many restaurants and stores.

Everything has been great except for the fact that there has been a lot of homeless people rummaging through our dumpsters at night. Everyone in the office is so nice!

So far it has been pretty good living here. Only problems was are AC was not working for the first week and took quite a while to get it fixed.

Apartment is nice and updated, appliances are older though. Maintenance is okay, response time or action can be hit or miss. Pool is nice and staff is helpful.

Very nice apartments, some things still need updating but they are definitely working on it. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in living off campus.

Very nice so far staff is super friendly and helpful we had small maintenance issues that got fixed super quick! Mail room can be a little tricky sometimes but not necessarily the complexes fault.

The amenities are all great, no WiFi/connection issues. All the maintenance has come in a timely manner and the apartment was in great move in condition for the price we paid!

Love everything Abt the apartment the floor plans are amazing and the view can be very breathtaking at times whew. But I love and enjoy waking up to see the Tate on howard and the beauties it holds. The staff and office are very respectful and very understanding individuals. If anyone were to ask me is this a great fit I would 100 percent recommend the Tate on howard once again lovely place

We just moved in a few days ago & so far, our experience has been pretty good. My only complaint is the lack of lights throughout the unit which makes it very difficult to see after daytime is over. Otherwise, the apartment was pretty clean upon arrival and things are seeming to work correctly for the most part.

The complex is very nice and the recent upgrades are nice and needed for the residents. Please note that there are no overhead lighting nor fans. The one benefit to being on the fourth floor is the amount of cross breeze that we get. That makes up for the lack of ceiling fans or overhead lighting

i enjoyed my time at soho because of the staff and location! staff was also kind to us and was quick to help whenever we had problems. the location was important to us since we didn’t all have cars, so the fact that we could walk to campus right across the street was great!
