Located 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, Concord combines historical charm with contemporary living. Current rental rates average $1,340 for a one-bedroom apartment. The city centers around Concord Mills mall and a downtown district featuring independent merchants, antique stores, and a seasonal farmers market. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Lake Fisher's 534-acre park, while motorsports enthusiasts appreciate the proximity to Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR team facilities.
Concord's story began in 1750 when German and Scots-Irish settlers named the area "Concord" after resolving their differences about the county seat's location. Today, the city continues to grow while preserving its historical character. Residents have access to healthcare at Atrium Health Cabarrus and higher education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. The historic courthouse, now home to the Cabarrus Arts Council, anchors the local arts community.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Station at Poplar Tent
The Leasing Office Staff is wonderful! They are professional and always responding in a timely manner. The neighborhood is quiet. The apartments are very spacious. The maintenance responds quickly to your needs. I enjoy the convenience of this complex.

Thank you so much for the kind words. The entire team at Station at Poplar Tent makes it our goal to provide the finest customer service each and every day !
I am not sure why the last two people gave such bad feedback..In just the last 3-4 months things have made leaps & bounds in improvements. They are towing broken down vehicles, trash is being picked up and the compactor is under control (the best they can do), maintenance is way more on top of things, the pool has been sparkling for months, they added colored walls to the fitness center just today, they keep residents in the loop with email updates, and the office staff is friendly and helpful every time I go in! I have referred 2 people here in just the last few weeks because the new management has really worked to turn this place around-keep it up and don’t let disgruntled residents ruin it!

We've optimistic about the changes we have planned and always appreciate your feedback as we continue to make improvements! Sincerely, The Station at Poplar Tent Management
Rude and not helpful management. Amenities should not even be listed because they’re either disgusting, broken, or nonexistent. Too much money for a place when you can have a way better experience elsewhere.

At your earliest convenience, please contact our office. We look forward to connecting with you! Sincerely, The Station at Poplar Tent Management
Trash everywhere. Nothing works. Everything is filthy. No amenities because the pool is too disgusting to go in and half of the stuff in the gym is broken and old. Maintenance is nonexistent. Management is not any help and incredibly rude. This place deserves negative stars

It's disappointing to learn that you have this impression of our community and team. Be aware. Leadership is very poor and ineffective at communicating directly.

Been here a couple years and leasing office staff has changed a few times but the newest staff over the last several weeks have really started turning things around! Love all the friendliness I get now when I go in or email..the manager Lauren and leasing girl Alicia are so helpful and pleasant. This place needed shaped up and I think they are working hard to do that. This place is conveniently by a lot of shopping and close to the interstate. The amenities are great too. The compactor is finally not a mess and I thank the office for that! Keep up the awesome changes!
Property Manager at The Station at Poplar Tent, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your stellar review of our community and for highlighting our incredible team! If you have any further feedback, please let us know. We appreciate hearing from our residents. Sincerely, The Station at Poplar Tent Team
As a resident here for almost 2 years now, I can confidently say this is a great place to live. The apartments are spacious, the amenities are great, and parking is never an issue. Management has changed from time to time, which is always going to happen in this industry, but they have always been kind and attentive! It is sad when residents leave a bad review based on their own problems. The trash here is not an issue. The residents are. The community has a trash compactor that works 24/7. If we could work together and everyone place their trash where it belongs instead of on the floor, maybe our home could be clean! Just a thought... The community is also very convenient to the highway, as well as grocery stores and shopping. As someone who works in leasing, this is a great community. I am proud to call Station at Poplar Tent home!

Thank you for rating our community 5 stars! We're delighted to hear that the past two years have been so excellent thanks to our convenient features and friendly team. We look forward to continuing to provide you with the best in apartment living for years to come. Sincerely, The Station at Poplar Tent
Lived here for 3 years. New management is the worst management ever. Apartments are nice but don't plan on using any amenities, or walk on the grass (dog poop), or throw your trash out (overflowing). Worst waste of money ever. Don’t think the gate will ever close either so enjoy it being open.

only been open a couple of years and has already been through 3-4 sets of office staff. the current office staff is so bad they ran off the entire maintenance team and now they only have one person and can’t accommodate the community’s needs BUT still expect everyone to pay premium pricing . RUN !

We are so sorry to hear about the manner of your experience. While we want to ensure all of our residents receive the highest level of customer service, we realize that there is always room for improvement. Reviews like yours are what help us make sure that we fill that room, and the only thing that would help even more is if we could have a moment of your time to discuss your concerns. Please contact our office when you have a moment.
The management of Station at Popular Tent is the most embarrassing thing about this place (Not the people at The Station, but the management) Elizabeth had no interest in helping me when I was told a week before move in that my apartment was not ready after i signed an agreement with them. I had to frantically search for a new apartment in the meantime cause i had no where to go! I asked for some sort of. compensation, but was told, "nope". I said, "okay, fine... ill deal with it." So I toured me room before sign in and my goodness. The floors were awful, the paint wasn't even the same color when they patched it up, the door seal was broken, but the "room is ready". It. was the biggest let down ever cause the place/gym/pool is really nice. But Elizabeth from corporate is the biggest waste of time. She doesn't care about you, just $$$. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Going into my second year here and I absolutely love this place! From the beautiful apartment layout to many awesome amenities! It’s quiet and staff is very helpful! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone! -Adam
Worse place ever, over priced for what you get. Staff is horrible. Would never recommend to anyone!!!!!
