Many who live and work in the Fargo-Moorhead area have chosen an apartment in West Fargo because of its small-town feel. Plus, homes tend to be more budget-friendly.
There’s a huge sense of pride within West Fargo, and the cultural attractions and events here reflect that. One of the most famous places in this city is Bonanzaville. The “village” as it’s often referred to, encompasses 43 historic buildings on 12 acres of land. Here, you’ll be in awe by the artifacts and structures within this cool section of town.
West Fargo is also the home of the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. The fair, which is held every summer, features carnival rides, exhibits, performances, and a beer garden. Just east of the city is where you’ll find the Roger Maris Museum. Roger Maris was a professional baseball player who broke Babe Ruth’s home run record in 1961.
When it comes to shopping, residents have plenty of opportunities.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Standard on 32nd
*The young and inexperienced leasing agent had no idea how to show an apartment and gave much misinformation that started the chain of problems for me here. * No AC in building hallways or elevator (after informing management, I was told that the residents will provide the cooling-down when the building becomes fully occupied) so the move-in in July and the summer has been miserable... * Oven did not work at move-in. Was told by the office to flip the breaker on and off five times (and then do the Hokey-Pokey) to get it to turn on. They knew full well the breaker needed to be switched out to a higher voltage capacity to keep the oven ON once the breaker was flipped FIVE times. This was the case in every apartment, I found out from the electrician. * No internet for a week. The Standard directed me to call in to get it set up (upgraded). What they did not tell me... Internet wiring was not even connected to anything. Just dangling in the air inside of the wall. This was the case in every apartment, I found out from the internet tech. * Elevator down numerous times. (Super fun walking up five flights of stairs with heavy groceries.) * No closets in Studios. Four feet of hanging-space for clothes provided in the laundry room. (Site pictures show closet racks in studios.) * The parking lot was not cleaned well after construction-end, and I was picking up random nails my first week of living here. I am pretty sure this is where I ran over one and got to pay $50 for tire repair. * Studios do not get the option of a garage... So! Plan on the parking lot spaces all being taken due to vehicle overflow from The Lights events; as has happened twice now upon my arrival home. There are no 'No Parking' signs posted, so eventgoers feel empowered to park here?! * Have a package room, but deliverers just leave packages on the floor under mailboxes. * There is no Recycling offered that is promoted on sites. * Noise from the restaurant traffic and street traffic is awful due to thin windows. * Randy's Diner Too employees park on the north side of this building and hang out there smoking in the shade, leaving their cigarette butts behind... * The icing on this crap cake? I am a 'bad' resident and was invited to leave as I was 'not nice' about the above-mentioned situations. Gee... I wonder why? ~ A new Substandard of living...
