The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Southern
I have lived here since May 2021, and this past year of leasing has been awful. Had water damage, cockroach problems for 1 month, and multiple attempts to increase rent or fees without notice. Was great until they just signed a contract with a third-party company to help them make more money from renters.
I've lived here for 18 months and have to relocate for work. I wish I could pick up The Southern, its community, and its staff especially, and relocate all of it with me. Respectful neighbors, unbelievably affordable, and well maintained. The managers in the front office are the best part: they are accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind people. They are on top of everything and communicate well if something comes up. Great place to live!
Everything is brand new. All Neighbors are nice and friendly to each other. Landlord cares about the renters.
