The Social Laramie

The people answering the phone were mostly nice but did not give correct information to future lease holders. Also stated that they were working on fixing situations and then never did. It seems like no one is one the same page about what the complex can or can’t do

Only the most minor of things like internet and traffic around the social. Other than that been a very good experience. Good location to campus.

Good environment to live in. They make any repairs quickly after I make a report. The only downside is the walls are a bit thin but not the worst

So far everyone I’ve met has been friendly and helpful, our apartment was kinda trashed nothing to serious just poorly patched walls and some minor broken things but getting help was very easy and me and my roommate got it taken care of

It’s a nice apartment complex with a bunch of amenities which is really convenient. I think the one thing that tends to be annoying is that a town that has a bunch of college kids the neighbors can be quite a bit older than the group which they just don’t understand or out of touch of the college kids

I’m new to the apartments and I’ve been here for about a week. It’s hard to say much about the community, but staff was helpful with questions or concerns I had during move in

Staff was very welcoming, parking was great, great roommates. The Social is in a great location in regards to UW campus. Excited to get to call this place home.

I’ve had some issues such as damages and the condition of the apartment, staff, people walking in without knocking, the hot tubs not being open during open hours, and more but overall it’s been alright

The hot tubs have spent probably 10 out of the last 12 months broken. They have not fixed them or done anything of the sorts however part of our rent still goes to them and we have not been compensated for their refusal to do anything about it. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

Leasing office is very inconsiderate and is unwilling to accommodate with your needs. Super overpriced for what you get. The amenities are mid and most the time the pool or bus is broken.

rooms and kitchens are small for 4 people living in them. pool has been broken for months and now the fences are down. gym looks nice and they have a tanning bed so that helps. the leasing manager Jordan is very kind and helpful in frustrating situations.

My resident experience had been great! The social workers are very quick to help with any problems that need tended to and they are very understanding. They are flexible with everyone’s different situations and are great with helping with the situations at hand quickly and efficiently.

I love the facilities, the privacy compared to the dorms. Rent is resanobal. I'm just waiting for the hot tubs to be opened up again. They have been closed since I moved in.

It’s been ok. A little disappointing with the hot tubs constantly being down. I think they’re closed for the winter which is unfortunate considering other apartments leave them open.

Getting Better! I've been here since The Social has been known as Campus Habitat, The Quarters, and now The Social. By the year it gets better and better with management, maintenence, package security, and amenities. They are becoming more available and easier to access and rent hasn't gone up by much over the years which I am greatful for!

I have had a great experience here at the social! It is a great way to meet new people and create lifelong memories and long lasting friends!

The apartment community is great! Everyone is super nice and moving in was so smooth and easy. I already knew my roommates previously so yes, my roommates are also so great! The apartments are nice and everyone living in them seems to be pretty mindful of everyone else and quiet most of the time.

Good and nice apartments. Wifi was included, has a pool and fitness center. In unit washer and dryer are very convenient and money savers in the long run.

Very good staff! Only thing is the apartments are quite dirty when you move in. My roommate and I had a broken door and even on move in day they made sure to come and fix it.

The apartments were clean on move in and everything went smoothly. I think the time slots to move in were slightly inconvenient however I understand the reason for it.

3.5 stars, great community, ammeninties, and parking. Move-in was great and easy but it would be nice if the apartment was alot cleaner upon move in. Anything I touch that isnt in a bedroom feels like its in a thin layer of grease, common area floor is super gross (leaves bare feet dark), and finally there are scuffs & unpatched holes on bedroom walls. Would also be nice if they had us do a damage checklist on move-in that way they know what damage we did vs previous tenants (gives piece of mind when thinking about security deposit).

My time here so far has been amazing! The workers are super helpful and friendly, helping with everything I need! The maintenance worker that fixed our washer machine was friendly and quick to help us out!

Apartment has some maintenance issues, but people in complex are very nice. Fitness room is more than adequate. Parking doesn't seem to be and issue.

So far my experience has been great! The apartment itself is lovely, and the easily accessible amenities are awesome. Would definitely recommend to those looking for student housing.

I was more than a little upset when I arrived at the pool, only to find it closed without any prior notice. I had been looking forward to a relaxing swim all day, and discovering that the pool was unexpectedly unavailable was quite frustrating. What made the situation even worse was the fact that I didn’t receive any email or communication informing me of the closure. An advance notice would have allowed me to adjust my plans accordingly or at least avoid the disappointment of showing up and being turned away. Effective communication is crucial in situations like this, especially when it involves services that people rely on for relaxation and exercise. I hope that in the future, better efforts will be made to inform patrons of any changes or disruptions to the schedule in a timely manner.

My residence experience has been a wonderful time. The staff is extremely helpful, the pool is nice and heated for those winter days and the trails leading to the school are perfect for my electric scooter.

Moving in, we had several maintenance issues including not having a key to open one of the bedrooms as the door handle was not one given by the apartment. There's lots of quirks, like having a nonfunctional light switch and how the HOT and COLD are switched on one of the bathrooms.

So far it’s pretty nice. The furniture in the rooms is nice and the staff at the front desk has been very helpful with answering questions. I hope the pool and other features stay open.

The move-in process was so smooth! Thank you for John and Nicole for making it an engaging experience. There was a soda truck, mimosas, and more!

the facilities are very nice and so are the people that work here and live here. the rooms are spacious and bathrooms have a mirror that spans an entire wall so that’s nice.

Move in was easy and roommates are all very nice! The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The room was not cleaned, except for the carpet, from the previous tenant, but the room was overall alright.

Fast move-in process The move-in process was really quick. Also, at the time of moving-in, I faced a small problem with the door lock which the team responded very quickly and followed up on the issue promptly.

I love the social because it has a welcoming and cleanly environment. Everyone in the office is amazing and kind as well and has always been quick to help in any situation!

I love living here! Amenities are great. The apartments are very spacious and well designed. I got mine furnished and saved a lot of money. I think the best part is the staff, they are very attentive and helpful.

Not the best management. The show room is super well kept, compared to the actual rooms. Otherwise, the space is liveable and nice. Payments could also be jacked up sometimes

Everything has been great! The hot tubs are still not working which is a bummer though. Hopefully they will be running soon. Staff is friendly and easy to work with.

I love the social! I have been here for over a year and have no complaints. The amenities are nice as well as the staff. The bus they offer to take us to and from campus is my favorite feature.

Maintenance The maintenance people here are phenomenal! When you submit a request in they are there within 30 mins to fix it!

Been a great experience so far! It’s a great community! I have nothing to complain about. The move in was smooth and they even let me move in early!

They were so great about letting me move in early and understanding of my check not dropping till midnight and letting me move in. Highly recommend!

The space is great, the property is obviously well managed. But I told the office I was bringing a pet with me and asked what they needed from me on move in date for my pet and the response I got on the phone was confused and lacked clarity. When I asked if they needed specific paperwork the answer was “Uh maybe?” Just seemed like what should be basic knowledge with some of my questions were not able to be answered with confidence. Other than that the experience has been positive.

My move-in appointment at the front desk went very quickly. I was given a move-in packet to review, but not much verbal information was given at the time.

It’s been good. Don’t really have much to complain about except for when I was moving in there was trash everywhere, but since then it’s been pretty good being at The Social

Excellent place to live. I would highly recommend. Clean, plenty of parking and nice staff. Pets are allowed which is nice. They let you choose roommates too.

Everything gone smoothly with my move-in and establishment. People are kind and very helpful here! Great and comfortable place to live in, enjoying every moment.

My daughter will be moving to Laramie from California in September for school . We were out scouting for a safe place for her to stay at. Walked into the office to get information and the two young men in the office were really nice and gave us a tour w/out an appointment. The property looked clean and well organized . They offer a great living environment for the students. We are unsure if we’ll be able to get my daughter an apartment here due to her stay timeline but we are hoping it works out..

Awesome place to live, landlord is amazing! Rent is super cheap. Have not had any issues sent I moved in. Best apartment I’ve lived in so far.
